Good food, unbeatable views and location. This location of Roberto's is perfect for outdoor seating overlooking Torrey Pines Beach and the estuary adjacent to it. The vibe of this shop is quite casual. You order at the counter and seat yourself outside. The patio is shared with a pizza shop as well as a coffee shop, Bird Rock, which I love! There's always a bunch of lively conversations going on and cute dogs lounging. I got the breakfast burrito with shredded chicken. It was packed with protein but seemed to be lacking a bit of seasoning, so I drenched it in salsa. It was piping hot upon being served, so I appreciated the freshness. The asada fries that someone else in my group got were the clear winner - they were crispy and generously drenched in sauce and meat.

After 12yrs of coming to this place this is the first time I've ever had to deal with horrible service. After informing the cashier that this isn't the typical size of the burrito, he's a new, and extremely young guy, being the patient individual that I am. I could sense the frustration in the cashier's demeanor, so I wouldn't fault him on not knowing how to properly respond, however no manager was on duty. They didn't even attempt to correct my order. The california burrito was really dry barely any sour cream, fries, and carne asada, but it was loaded with cheese as the picture attached reflects what I was given. They don't even give their team members authority to process the refund/s. The manager has to come in next day to process it.Bad service you guys have to do better.

It was clean, yummy and not too greasy. The staff is very friendly as well.We had the carne asada fries, carne asada nachos, California burrito, shredded beef taco and chicken enchiladas. We tried a few other spots while in SD, but this was our favorite by far.

I haven't had a torta in years but decided on a #CarneAsadaTorta, It was delicious with carne and guacamole in every bite. It wasn't as thick of a bread as I remembered but it held the carne and I rather not have a lot of breading, My friend ordered the #CarneAsadaBurrito and we split both. The burrito filling tasted the same as the torta so it's really your preference on how you want to have it. It's easier to eat the burrito. The service was friendly and quick.

Roberto's always delivers post-hike taco cravings!!!! The smell of fresh corn tortillas makes it more satisfying! Can't go wrong with carne asada tacos with guacamole and salsa! Walk-up & drive-thru are my spots!

Banner reads Home of the California Burrito. It should really claim Home of the saddest version of the California Burrito that costs $14. Gave it 2 stars for the 2 decent bites that resembles a Cali Burrito. The rest was flour tortilla because it was the thinnest most skimpiest on a budget burrito!!

With a beautiful ambiance in the outdoor seating area, you are sure to smile when the cool ocean breeze hits you as you eat from this joint. The Carne asada nachos are absolutely delicious, flavorful and all the right textures. After ordering, the service is fast! In 2024 we can definitely appreciate a restaurant that still uses real ingredients to make dishes. This is a great stop for lunch on the way to the beach in SD!

Yo dudes, Captain 619 here! Let me tell you about Roberto's - it's like my go-to taco spot, been shredding those waves of flavor for almost four decades all over SoCal. Today's sesh was kinda meh, but I'm keeping my stoke up for a gnarlier experience next time!

Been 28 years now that im coming backHahaThey finally went back to adding avocado if you dont want guac and then kid at the register is super friendly and smiling - best customer service there has been in years. I should have gotten his name he is maybe 20tears old. Big smile.
