Robert Tacos and Mariscos

I ordered shrimp ceviche to go and it was packed in a cup so I was happy to receive a good amount. I didn't enjoy how they made it because it was tomato base like a Clamato. I really was looking forward for a good ceviche. Won't order it again but I'll try the fish next time. We also ordered birria tacos and they were good as well. Hot sauce was also good. Keep in mind they don't give out caldo in a cup like other marisco trucks.

99 cent fish taco trucks are popping up everywhere and there happen to be 3 of them within several blocks of my house. I don't normally eat at any of them since I have often been disappointed with the food. Robert taco and mariscos food truck is a fairly recent addition to the Amvet store. On my visits to Amvets I have noticed by the rising number of customers that they are getting popular. I asked a random guy who just got through eating there how he liked it and he raved about the ceviche tostada saying it was one of the best he had ever had. After hearing what he had to say I decided to try some of the food. I ordered several 99 cent fish tacos for myself and tacos a la plancha for my wife ( the fish are unbreaded). While my fish tacos weren't the greatest I have ever had, they weren't bad. My wife said hers were delicious

I love love love this taco truck ! The fish is always fresh , the prices are good .the food is just amazing . Really good quality . My favorite truck in San Diego
