Rizers Pizza

Stopped in for a slice of pizza, opted for pepperoni and sausage. I'm from NJ and am admittedly very picky about pizza, and I really enjoyed it. Sauce was good, and I like the crust - these 2 components are where other spots out west fall flat, so this is a big up for them in my book. If I were ordering a whole pie, I'd probably get extra cheese. They do have high quality parm to sprinkle on top, another bonus. The staff was also friendly and quick. I'd give Rizers a 4.5+

How to say you don't care without actually saying you don't care...Both 16 inch pizzas were small in the box so I measured them...both were 13 inches...they didnt even cut one of them...thats not a big deal except that by not stretching the dough, the crust was chewy enough to make you jaw tired...sauce was good, toppings were good, cheese was good...Started noticing the pizza quality slipping at Hoboken at the end, and it would seem that trend continues...totally ashame...just need to put a bit more effort into theirs pizzas and they could be really good...devil is in the details fellas

A local restaurant group has quickly reopened the space that housed Hoboken Pizza in PB to a similar New Jersey-style pizzeria. Rizers Pizza has maintained the same decor and most of the staff from the previous business. In addition to the whole pies and pizza by the slice, the menu has expanded to include pasta, cold and hot subs, appetizers, and salads. Maybe word of the opening has been slow as only one customer was seated when I arrived.I didn't see a menu sheet at the service counter or a board posted on the wall so I looked at the website from my phone to decide what to order. Oof... $30+ was the going rate for Sicilian-style special pizzas. Four Hot Subs were available, and I decided to continue my quest for a high-quality cheesesteak sandwich by selecting their version. For $14, seasoned steak filet with bell peppers, onions, and wild mushrooms was topped with melted provolone on a hoagie roll.The worker said it would take around 15 minutes to prepare which it did. The meat and cheese were warmed up inside the pizza oven before they were added to the bread. After it was assembled, I took the sandwich home to eat. Compared to a recent cheesesteak I ate elsewhere last month, this one was put together more nicely. The gooey cheese was overflowing, and the amount of meat was closer to what I had expected. I gave a 3.5 star rating for the Cheese Steak at Rizers Pizza.

I like it. Always order the meat head. From Hoboken to Rizers, the name can change, but the pizza's still good.

Great food, great value, chill atmosphere. we always ate at sandbox before, which is across the street, but the food was often overcooked and very small portion size. So glad we made the pivot to Rizers...pizzas are big, well cooked and it is much less chaotic inside. We are local and this is our new pizza spot.

Stopped by for some pizza after visiting a barber nearby. Street parking only. Staff was friendly. They had a few pies to choose from for by the slice. Very thin and crispy crust (a tad burnt). Was just okay, a little pricey at $4.75 a slice but it seems like it's the going rate now for pizza slices.

If you're particular about great dough this is the place amazing dough and sauces. When you know if it is going to be a good pizza just get the cheese and sauce .

Best pizza and wings I've had in a while. Not soggy on the bottom and cooked just how I like it.. delivery time was right on point as well.

Love the pizza and service here. A perfect NY style thin crust and have had their Sicilian which is awesome, too. I know they just started up after Hoboken moved on and it could use a little personal touch in decor; but that won't stop me from coming back. Solid pizza 9.5/10
