Food is great here. Authentic and flavorful. Everything I've tried has never disappointed me. They have an affordable selection.Ambiance is alright. It feels like you're eating at the first floor of someone's home. Service is standard. They're always very nice and sweet. Only thing is they are never around when I'm ready to pay. This isn't a deal breaker for me though. If you're in a hurry, order Togo! Overall I'd say if you want a delicious meal and aren't in a rush, try this place!

My family and I have been coming here since 2023 but our last visit today made me sure we won't come back, even though this is the closest thai restaurant from our house.Food is ok, the service was terrible. We waited 20-ish mins patiently to be seated but as soon as we got our table, the server who took our orders (around mid aged lady wearing yellow apron, turned out she's the manager; we were told by the other server) kinda rushed us with no smile and no greetings, and when i told them my orders fast (because she seemed like in a rusu) she told me "give me a minute" like???! She also gave us the water and straws RUDELY. Again, with no smile no words nothing.Maybe because in an hour it will be closed and she can't wait to go home??? But not an excuse to be rude to your loyal customers. Zero customer service from this one server and very disappointed with our experience here. I won't be coming back and won't recommend this place to anyone.

I went on a Sunday afternoon around 12pm and it was only one server. The restaurant wasn't too busy. Menu priced decent. Average price around $13 per thai cuisine entree unless different type of meat or adding meat. And $13-17 for the sushi rolls and bento box. Lots of parking space in the back with a ramp up entrance. May come back next time to try other entrees, but not the ones we ordered today. Docking off two stars: 1) Both the Tonkatsu ramen and boat noodle wasn't that great. Did not expect the krapow to be pieces of meat (the ones I usually eat are minced) 2) it almost looked like an abandoned buildin, but actually a restaurant. I almost didn't feel safe but still gave it a try.

It's easy to miss this place as it comes off as a little hole in the wall my husband and I stopped by for a quick lunch here. Service was efficient and I liked the creativity of the rolls. The rock 'n' roll was very good. We would return for a quick little lunch.

Zen is a little hidden gem in Banning. We have been coming here for many years now. The food is great and the ambiance is wonderful. The staff is attentive and efficient. We would definitely come back whenever we are in the area!

Good food good service . I recommend tom kha soup , rock n roll , pad kee mow , combination fried rice, yellow curry, combination seafood and short rib . All is the best food. The inside is nice . They make everything fresh. Dont forget to order boba drink.

I've experienced the most delicious food this evening, especially if you enjoy SPICY ZEN Japanese cuisine in Banning is so bomb. I cannot wait to dine in an try some of their sushi options. We did Mao Mao (steamed) fresh spring roll w/ shrimp and peanut sauce and the star of the show yellow curry w chicken and steamed rice!! When I tell you this ( curry) was melt your face off level heat (Tim started sweating and I had to blow my nose) without compromising on flavor. 10/10 recommend! At just over $30 for our entire order this place definitely gained repeat customers. Seemed to be family owned and operated so all the more reason to support! sosososososososososososososoSO Good!

Food the best taste great service and the ambiance is great every time i go there they know my favorite meal and they put love behind it every time. I will always go there.

I enjoyed it, but it didn't seem like they had a combination menu everything had to be ordered separately so I didn't get to try as many things as I would've liked
