The young lady that welcomed us was very nice and attentive. We ordered the dynamite roll, which was very spicy and tasty. Definitely would order that again. SICHUAN roll had great flavor and would order that again.Ordered the rainbow roll. Had a very mild flavor. Come back to try it again.For those that are worried about the seating and decor, it is not issue with us. It's all about the food and the taste. Support your local small business.

This sushi was surprisingly great! I am very picky when it comes to my rolls and these were great! There is a variety of different foods on the menu, for those that don't like sushi. The rolls were kind of pricey but they didn't let down. We also got spicy edamame which was also good! I really wanted a cup of egg flower soup but they only offered 1 big size so that was a bummer. I really recommend coming here for a tasty sushi treat!Only a minor cons:-Pricey for a family to come-The tables are huuuge and made us laugh a little because we felt so far away.- they only accept cash tips, I felt bad not knowing and didn't have cash on me.

Not sure about the super negative reviews, maybe an off day but I enjoyed my Rainbow roll and my fiancé enjoyed his Mongolian beef! I'm pretty apprehensive about trying new sushi places and I was not disappointed. Also, I thought it was great that they had a larger selection of beers, most sushi places do not. Our server was attentive and polite. Easy-listening and modern music. Decor was pretty, loved the black and gold booths.

I noticed the obscure sign from the freeway and exited to see what Z Sushi was all about. Turns out they have a drive-thru until 9 pm and the owners decorated the interior in tribute to their Myamar culture. Notice the photos of the frames and umbrellas, all a homage to Myamar. Very cool! It has an intimate vibe inside and the owners were extremely polite! I ordered the salmon poke bowl and was pleasantly surprised! This review reflects my first visit to Z Sushi in August 2024 and I welcome all Yelpers to spread the word of this new business in Redlands!Check out Z Sushi yelpers!

First time here and we got the dynamite roll/fried onion roll. It was absolutely delicious! We were impressed with the freshness & quality of everything! Definitely a hole in the wall, highly recommend. Love that they have a drive thru, never seen a drive thru sushi before! Love that the sushi is the perfect bite sizes, sometimes some places can roll it too big. Service was very welcoming and fast.

I was a bit skeptical of drive-through sushi but this place was amazing. I got a crunchy lobster roll and my boyfriend ordered 2 Philadelphia rolls with no avocado. Service was great. They made accommodations for my boyfriend's avocado hatred lol. We ordered our rolls and got them in under 10 minutes. They were delicious and tasted very fresh.

With a festive front, see my pic; we thought we'd try Z Sushi on the west side of town. There is ample parking. Also for those on the go, there is a drive through, see my signage pic. We were greeted and seated promptly upon entering. The outside umbrella theme is carried into the interior, see pic.As we were seated, we were met with the table's leg, see pic. Not only is the square edge toward the seat and its very close to the seat - our knee still felt the encounter the next day. The Spicy California Roll (#5) was the first to arrive. As you can see from my pic, it had a very simple and straight-forward presentation. As per the description, there was only the Spicy Sauce. For our tastes, this was quite mild. Our server had previously brought small bowls of Soy sauce, and this enhanced the flavors greatly. As you can see all the listed ingredients were there and were fresh. This roll's protein is shredded imitation crab, as my pic shows, was about half the ingredients. This was followed by the Tempura Shrimp Box, see my pic. Actually we ordered the Tempura Box Combo: to try the shrimp and veggies. The server correctly read back my order, but we ended up with the Shrimp box. As you cans see from my pic, the shrimp are thin and long. It seemed the shrimp meat portion was about 1/3 to 1/2 of the total portion. The accompanying side sauce was nicely tangy and the soy sauce was also a good flavor enhancer. For those on the go and since this restaurant is immediately off the I10 and California St. offramp, they have a drive through, see my sign pic.

I love this new place in Redlands! It's so cute with all of the hanging umbrellas, but the food is the best! They have a variety of Asian foods- Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Indian. The food is very fresh, uniquely prepared, and delicious. Service is wonderful.

Lots of food to enjoy and try here! My experience here was pleasant and I would definitely come back.It being a newer restaurant, there is already a lot offered here. The Burmese dishes are something that I have not tried yet; however, reading from other reviews it will be something to try on my next visit. For it may be the restaurant's specialty.Here the service was fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean and appealing. The decor is unique and stands out, although it is obvious that more seating may be added on the inside. The decor and seating has a royal kind of vibe to it which is really cool. As for the food I tried, the sushi, it was good! It is what you would expect. This restaurant also has a drive through option, however, I think this restaurant makes for a better dine in experience.I experienced nothing worth complaining about or worth giving a poor review during my visit. Ignore whatever poor, unreasonable reviews you may already see about the restaurant here on Yelp and come on out and experience this place for yourself. If you need an extra dish to place empty edamame shells, just ask for it. The restaurant workers are friendly and helpful. FYI, it is not unusual for edamame to be served chilled. Lastly, if you are a soup Nazi, go get your miso soup from Chef Ramsey.
