Amazing experience!!! I'm more of a LA and OC foodie enthusiast. I also travel quite a bit both for work and pleasure and I'm actually quite picky when it comes to Asian food (naturally cause I'm Asian...). So, I was skeptical at 1st because well it's a Japanese restaurant in Norco but I gave it a try just because.Wow, everything I ordered was absolutely delicious - soft shell crabs, spicy tuna crispy rice, salmon belly/halibut/toro/yellow belly nigiri, and miso soup. Both taste and food quality are great. I was genuinely impressed (and I rarely am ). To top it off, customer service was above a beyond. Our waitress was extremely courteous, sweet, and respectful! I'm not saying these were the best Japanese foods I've ever had. However, in terms of price to value, I couldn't have asked for a better culinary experience from such a small-scaled local restaurant.

I used to love this place, absolutely loved it. Now that I've moved to the OC it's been harder to come back due to the distance but I finally came back for Yuzu last Friday for lunch. The nice waitress that used to work here is no longer there and the menu was completely different so when we ordered we asked if something had changed and the current waitress said they're under new management for the last few months. We stayed positive since everything seemed to be similar except for the large new laminated menu. We ordered the bento lunch and the prices seemed similar to before but when our bento boxes came out, it was pretty disappointing. The portions definitely got smaller by a lot. I ordered chicken katsu and the crunchy roll. The taste was average but the portion really disappointed me for being $20. Also the salad dressing was bright orange and not tasty like before. I used to come here because of the eggplant tempura appetizer but that is no longer on the menu. :sadface:It is safe to say that I will no longer be coming back, especially since it takes well over 45 minutes for me to get here now. I was really hoping for great things since it's been under new ownership. Sadly, I was very unhappy with everything I ordered. Not only that, but the service was poor. My daughter and I went for lunch. There were only two other tables dining and one was finished. It still took 10 minutes for the server to greet us and asked us if we wanted something to drink. It took another 10 minutes to get our waters. The rice was very cold and hard in the cut rolls. The food lacked flavor. I asked for wasabi and ginger and waited for quite some time before I got up and walked over to the counter and she said oh I'm sorry I forgot. I didn't even eat a quarter of my food. The ginger dressing on the salad was not even edible. It looked like a dressing you would get at a tepan restaurant with your but the taste was not appetizing whatsoever. I took one bite of it only. The ginger also had a very odd taste, and I'll love ginger and I've never been anywhere that I disliked the ginger. The whole experience was underwhelming and I'm sure we will not be returning. Ricky made all of his dressings, sauces, and soup from scratch. They definitely will not be replicating that.See the picture posted below. It's like they made my rolls but forgot to finish them. Zero sauce. Cold hard rice. Flavorless and can you even consider that having avocado in it with the amount they used?

Yuzu was my absolutely favorite restaurant. The chef and his wife were amazing. He made the best dishes not only at Yuzu, but at the previous restaurant they owned in Corona. My family & myself were sad to hear from the owner (Tammy) that they were selling the restaurant & moving to Thailand. Today, we decided to try Yuzu under the new ownership. Of course, there is no comparison...we miss the old Yuzu. The new Yuzu rolls are overpriced & unfortunately not good. I wish I could give them a better review, but we couldn't even finish the rolls we got!

Finally a good sushi place in the area! I went for lunch today and it was so quiet and perfect! The sushi was phenomenal! The service was great and so hospitable overall would definitely come back here. I got the 911, devil and spicy shrimp roll! They were soooo good!!

Too bad. This place used to be the BOMB when Tammy owned it. Rice is dry, spicy garlic edamame has no flavor and the menu is completely different. So sad, this used to be our favorite place. The food is so tasteless now. Come back Tammy!
