Perfect FREE substitution to Yucaipa regional Park, since it will cost eight dollars entry per vehicle to enter the regional park. The community park is found right next door to enjoy a nice day out in the shade. Safe and clean park for all ! There is free parking available for large crowds and much is shaded. I really favor this park due to the various shaded areas throughout the park, including the picnic tables. That is a plus for those sunny hot days in the city . The playground is well maintained and a fun area to keep the kids busy. Large baseball fields, volleyball , tennis and basketball courts are present at this park. The bathrooms are pretty clean located near the community center and kept up very clean at all times of year. The community center and gazebos are always available to rent for private events. The city holds community events here frequently as well. This park offers uphills and flat landscaping perfect for walking and exercise. Very dog friendly location and 24 hour surveillance cameras are present!

Great park located next door to Yucaipa Regional park. This park boast (7) baseball fields, (2) tennis courts, playgrounds and other amenities. The grass is very well taken care of so the amount of yellow, dry grass, is minimal. We came to this park on a Sunday morning, with a bunch of co-workers, to play softball. We brought food and non-alcoholic beverages, along with chairs, tables and EZ-ups. We settled next to one of the baseball fields at the farthest North end of the park. We had a great time, but to our disappointment we ended up finding out that the bathrooms by the fields were closed. However, the main bathrooms closest to Oak Glen road, were open, but we didn't end up finding out until after a few trips to the bushes. I would definitely bring back the family and friends for another round of softball. This is also a great park to take wedding or quinceañera pictures

No way! I can't be the first to review this wonderful park! WOW!It's truly a wonderful park, it's just truly an amazing setting with breathtaking views of mountains and well spread out; next door is the Regional park - another review & and hidden gem! It's about 32.5 acres. Perfect for taking a nice long stroll in and around it. (Nice trail alongside and leads into park as well) It has fields/mounds, basketball courts, picnic areas throughout (some w/shelter), barbecues, restrooms, amphitheater & I believe sand volleyball court, with Community Center (w/indoor gym) on grounds. I went there three years ago for Jazzercise, oh my God it was so nice! I believe at night when there are games, it's well lit. Newly remodeled parking area in the recent years also well lit at night and is very accommodating.People there are always friendly and responsible pet owners that look after their beloved pets. When I am visiting family out there or just feel home sick (I plan to retire out there), I always go there to breath in the fresh mountain air, it's gorgeous in the winter time as well. I'm not sure if you need to contact them to reserve tables (I would imagine so) it gets packed around weekends during Spring, Summer time & for birthday parties & large family/local events and holidays. But do call them in advance and check out the cities website for more information. (I think I copied most of the info, but just in case):http://www.yucaipa.org/aboutyucaipa/cityParks.php

Really huge, beautiful community park. We drive from Redlands to go work out here. Located in a great area, safe, basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer and baseball fields, clean restrooms, BBQ areas, open and covered picnic areas, amphitheater, tons of parking and beautiful views of the mountains. There is also a campground right next to it.

This is one of the best maintained, provisioned and used community parks in SoCal. It had everything you expect and more from tennis courts, to baseball to kids play, band stand and picnic areas. The park is frequently used for community events from Easter Egg Roll to 4th July Fireworks and summer concerts. It's safe for kids, is well lit in the evening so you don't feel isolated and vulnerable as a woman and there's cameras watching too. The grassy hill make a fun place to hang out with kids young and old alike because it's great to roll down as I've never found a canine 'deposit' yet. The small kids play area is nearby and the lager well placed so parents with mixed age children can watch both from the tables or shade. Love to park here and use the regional park and walking paths to the Crafton Hills. Beautiful views anytime of view but on a warm spring evening with the snow capped mountains behind you and a golden sunset ahead, wildflowers in full bloom it's stunning.
