So so...This was my first time going to a Yoshinoya. I had zero expectations going into it. Other than, a couple of my friends saying they really liked it. I thought, "okay- let's give it a try."It didn't blow my socks off. It was very mediocre food. In my opinion, kind of overpriced. And a little salty... lol The udon noodle sauce was crazyyy salty! I did like the teriyaki salmon. That was decent. My husband said his food was alright. But again, just over-priced for fast-food style grub. The boba drinks were terrible. Skip those. The boba was hard and not even chewy, and the drink itself- very sweet like straight sugar. Just gross.

I normally order the large gyudon. The food is always good.. never had any problems. The service is good never have any problems. Ambiance is average not to be excited about.. the music is not loud so you can actually have a conversation with someone. Best location in the Riverside area and the cleanest

Yoshinoya LOYALTY USER app here feeling like I've gotten the worst service for being a paying customer. So apparently, ordering ahead of time through the app does not give you priority or good customer service. Instead, I was given rude customer service and felt disrespected.Last week, I placed my order through the Yoshinoya app and just as I was entering the driveway to the plaza where Yoshinoya is located, I clicked submit to complete my online order. As I approached the drive-thru line, there was one car ahead of me that proceeded to move to the next window where payment is taken and orders are picked up. I thought, "Wow, I don't even have to wait!" So I moved my car forward, and the older gentleman gets on the speaker to let me know that he would be right with me.When he finally gets on the speaker to ask me what I would like to order, I politely let him know, "Hi, I'm here to pick up my online order."He says, "Order? I don't see an order."I said, "It's under Wendy."He says, "Okay, it's not ready."I kindly let him know, "I got the notification on my app that was ready."Now the conversation above took no more than 2 minutes max.He then tells me, "Oh I see it for Wendy" and then a younger girl interrupts and says, "You can't pick up orders through the drive-thru, pull forward and go around and pick it up inside."I proceed to the next window since no one is behind me and no new customers were walking inside to get their attention. They rudely ignored me and finally the older employee opens the window, hands me my bag, and says, "Next time you can't pick up from the window" and closes it.Wow! I couldn't even ask for some Beni Shoga (red ginger) until I waived my hand at the guy. He finally opens the window and I asked him, "I've picked up from the window before -" and before I could finish he said, "No."Umm, "Yes."Anyway, I'm a paying customer. What difference did it make that I was the next person in line at the drive thru versus the next paid transaction picking up my order? There was no line behind me, the person before me already moved to pay... I don't get it. Why make it harder for the customer? It's not like I'm a DoorDash, Uber Eats, or GrubHub delivery driver; I was a Yoshinoya app user who had ordered through the app before and picked up from the drive-thru window. The least they could have done was to approach the situation kindly and respectfully, and tell me, "I apologize but we recently made changes to our online pickup instructions." I would've been okay with that explanation. But they disrespected me and making me feel little. That is the last time they earn my business - or at least until they get Corporate involved to make staff changes or customer service training. The new CA minimum wage for fast food workers does not mean you are above others!

We've been coming here since they opened, and honestly, we've never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and super fast and food is always good . The manager or whoever is in charge is doing a great job because the place is always clean. I know some people might have bad days and leave bad reviews, but based on my experiences, I give it 5 stars every time.

The teriyaki chicken was dry, kind of hard, and tasted old. The vegetables were off also. I got a Thai Boba, and the Boba wasn't fully rehydrated. All around, an inedible meal, and I threw it right in the trash.I used to eat at Yoshinoya in Orange County a couple of times a month for five years and it was consistently fabulous. The chicken was moist. The vegetables were OK. But the chicken was always top-notch. Anyway, this is a big disappointment and I'm still hungry!

Yoshinoya hella trippin with their portions, they scammed me with the amount of food. 5 pieces of chicken and the bowl is not filled with rice. Now I don't even wanna eat this cause of how sorry it looks.

I pulled up to the drive thru and the person taking my order seemed to be laughing and having a great time there. I ordered a combo with beef and chicken with a drink and two sides. They did not confirm the order before pulling up. When pulling up to the window, they didn't confirm the order and gave me the total and I paid. Upon receiving the food, they handed me a chicken bowl instead of the combo and no drink. Did not even include a fork or napkins. The sides were good but the bowl taste was off and didn't hit. I would not recommend the drive thru. It wasn't even busy, this place is a ghost town.
