Yoshinoya Madison

I've only been to Yoshinoya once before and for some odd reason, I wanted to eat it out of nowhere tonight. I will admit that at first, I was so skeptical about going to this location because of their low Yelp reviews. I didn't want to deal with mean employees after a super long day of work. I decided to give it a chance anyways and to my surprise, it was actually one of the best fast food interactions I've had in such a long time. :) I arrived and there was no one in the drive thru. I needed some time to think about what I wanted and the employee was so nice about it. She didn't get an attitude or try to rush me at all. I had a coupon I wanted to use as well and she explained how it worked and what I could get with it. She seemed cheerful and really willing to help me. When I got to the window, an employee named Maria greeted me and within a few seconds, my food was ready to go. I'm not sure if she is who I was speaking to on the speaker, but she was just as nice. I usually stay away from fast food places at night because the majority of the employees working are grumpy, they rush you, and they get the order wrong. I didn't experience any of this here. Overall, the food was pretty good. I got a steak bowl with rice and vegetables as well as a shrimp bowl. Both were hot and fresh with good portions. Maybe I just got lucky but this experience alone made me want to return. Thank you, Yoshinoya!

Food is always good at Yoshinoya. As for service, I have noticed workers in Yoshinoya in general are rude and unpleasant. They have poor customer service. Yoshinoya has been our goto for late night rice cravings from LA to Riverside. We arrived at 1020pm, the establishment was locked and didn't find any crew so we went through the drive-thru and found the people hiding in the back. When we requested for forks, handed the forks without any napkins and when we requested for extra napkins, we were told that we can only have 2 napkins per meal. The manager said that it's written. In their policy. Really even for extra napkins because the sauce dripped on the original napkin that they provided. When my husband asked for the manager she said that she was the manager and that she will call the police on us if we insist. Who the hell calls a police to a customer who asks for a napkin. This is ridiculous, plain stupid. Yes, yoshinoya this is the people whoDemands $20 per hr to ruin your business. 1 star for the food.

I should've checked the ratings of this store before driving 25 miles in traffic to get lunch..I wasn't Able to get anything and ended up going to a fast food restaurant instead.Service here is really bad since nobody acknowledges the costumers entering the store I'm surprise the restaurant's tables were dirty, meaning costumers actually ate here..there was only one couple eating and another patron who just ordered, when I was there's waiting for some one to help me that costumer came to the counter and ask a girl that was actually leaving home i suppose if some one can clean a table for her to seat. Thankfully for her, The girl just grabbed a rag and wiped the table really fast and left leaving no one in the counter taking orders..A white chick that seemed to be working the drive thru came a couple of times but said nothing by then there were 2 other people behind me.the Walk like a turtle chubby white girl, finally said " I'll be right there in a moment " but never did..She came once to grab a bottle of water they have in front of the counter I guess for a customer on the DTAnd didn't say nothing What they should do here is Close the dining room and keep only open the drivethru since you have no body to take care of the customers. I hope me leaving help the other people in line a little less longer.empty,dirty restaurant with no one to help you.I don't have a Yoshinoya close to home so driving here was a big mistake.

Food was alright I had asked for a kids meal and was given the wrong drink and shift manager was refusing to give me what I asked for because the robot wouldn't listen . She gave me attitude the whole conversation through . I don't see why she is a shift manager if she can't manage simple customer service

The portion sizing here is pretty crazy. As in very very minimal I have never been to a yoshinoya where I always order a side of beef because their large is a tiny amount. The service is ok but they always run out of everything and they have an annoying auto order drive through that can get things wrong and then an employee will step in to tell you they ran out of things. Not worth paying for a large to just get a bunch of extra rice

So the downfall of this place started when they got rid of their orange chicken and replaced it with some awful fatty dark meat fried Tokyo chicken. The stuff literally made me dry heave. Then the cleanliness inside got kinda bad next. I was still going back for the original beef until today. I went to use the drive through and they now have an AI computer taking your order. That's a big no for me. If I can't order from a person, I'll be going somewhere else.

I love the Tokyo fried chicken! Crispy and juicy without being too greasy. The original Beef Bowl is always a go-to for when I need some comfort food. The service is always friendly and they promptly take your order after you walk in. The ambiance is consistent with other Yoshinoyas.

Ordered the new dragonfruit boba and the boba looked burnt and moldy. Service was good but giving out bad moldy food or drinks is definitely bad for the business.

i got the habanero chicken and beef plate and in my chicken there was a roach look alike thing in the sauce. not sure what it is but it disgusted me causing me to get nausea and not being able to finish my food.

I would give 0 stars if I could bc omg the lady had me fucked uppppp I came yesterday November 26 and she had sm attitude and the steak I had looked like it was out for a long time it was super discolored and later that night I threw up soooo much and even now my stomach hurts so bad hopefully I can make it to Thanksgiving!!!
