Parking: Easy, open, and free.I visited on a Friday around 7 PM and had about a 5-minute wait. There was a dinner rush, so the line to fill your bowl took a while. The selection of meats is limited--just beef and lamb. I didn't mind since that's what I typically eat, but it might be an issue for others. However, there's a great assortment of toppings you'd expect at any hot pot place. At the end of the line, you choose your broth. I went with the tomato broth, but the spicy bone broth is the right choice. Even if you can't handle spice, I recommend asking for the mildest level--this is where all the flavor is.The flavors were definitely authentic. The service is straightforward--you get what you need, but it's largely self-serve.I loved the sauce bar! It was self-serve and included oyster sauce, sacha, sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar, cilantro, green onions, garlic, red pepper, and peanut sauce.Pro tip: Get an extra bowl of green onions and top your soup with it.All in all, I'd definitely come back!

When entering, make sure to sign in via physical waitlist. The waiter will call out your name, then you can start picking out your food. The process towards getting the food was very smooth! Once you weigh your food, they give you a receipt to keep. At the end of your meal, you go to the cashier with the receipt to pay. The only reason why I'm giving this place three stars is from the long piece of hair that was in the soup. I am typically not too disgusted by hair, but it was more than one foot long (and it was entangled by the meat). We let the waitress know and all they did was let the individual get a new bowl. They still made them pay for the new bowl price (they tried to make it exactly like the first bowl, but it ended up being slightly heavier than before). Additionally, I put a lot of spinach in my bowl and halfway through eating, I noticed that I had no spinach. They added my ingredients to someone else's bowl. Overall, there could be some improvements. The food still tasted good, but the other events were quite disappointing.

This was my first time trying Malatang after hearing about it from so many people. The concept is quite interesting. You go in, they sit you, and then you go to the bar area to grab a bowl and then you fill up your own bowl with whatever toppings you'd like. It was priced for $13.99 per lb. I added dry ramen, beef, corn, fish balls, meatballs, imitation crabs, vegetables, etc and then they weigh it and ask you to select a broth. I did the spicy beef broth and chose medium spice. My bowl came out to be $33 since it was 2.2 lbs. My friend's bowls were only 1.3 pounds so it honestly depends on what you put in there. It's like building your own hot pot basically. Food was delicious. Fresh options. Soup was flavorful. Friendly staff. Cash and card accepted however if you pay with cash, you do get a free drink! Super great option for a cold day and also great place for families.

My go to malatang was YGF but I'm so happy to know a yummy spot closer to home is here! There are soooo many options to put into your soup. The service here is great and the staff have been so kind when it comes to my late night visits too . What I also like about this spot is that music isn't blasting in your ear, sometimes I just want to relax and enjoy a nice hot soup, you know I've stopped by at least three times in the last month cheers to this so far very successful spot

We were in town for a convention in Ontario and decided to try this spot for dinner. Here's how it works: after getting seated, you head up to the buffet line, grab a bowl, and fill it with as many fresh, quality ingredients as you like. The price starts at $13.99 and goes up depending on the weight of your bowl when you check out at the register.Word of advice, don't go when you're super hungry like we did! I ended up getting way more than I could actually eat because my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach. Our hot pots came out super fast, and they were absolutely delicious! I chose the original broth, while my boyfriend got the tomato broth, and both were really good. I also loved being able to pick exactly what goes into my hot pot! Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be back next time we're in town

Plenty of selections, from naughty to healthy. Great for everyone. Pick and choose your own pot and they will make it(boil) for you from the kitchen. Saves you time and the hassle. It's great for (quick) lunch, or relaxed dinner to pig out. Sauce station is great, has red chili that's actually hot. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Overall it's pretty clean, bright and cozy. Highly recommend.Highly recommended.

One of my go to place to eat hotpot when at work. They workers here are polite and have good service. This place is good whether you like mala spices or not. You're able to choose the amount of spices you get. Note that the numbing mala spicy feeling is not high. The spice is there and the flavors are delicious. I did find that the spicy levels are spicier if you get the spicy mix, which is more saucy than soup or dry. I deducted 1 star because there were a couple times when I am there, the bowls that you put your food in, there is a smell on them that they did not dry properly. Besides that everything is good.

I got the medium spicy bone broth. The soup was pretty well-balanced with the mala spices and the creaminess of the bone broth soup. The broth was not too heavy unlike some malatang places I've been to. The medium spicy hot pot was perfect, I think I will try the spicy next time. The selection of ingredients were good, I wish they had more noodle variety but still great! Sauce bar had everything from chili oil, green onions, cilantro, to oyster sauce. Everything is weighed at the front, and they give you a bracelet to take to your table. The cooked food came out pretty quickly.Wait was around 20-30 min, but I went on a weekend at peak dinner time. So it wasn't that bad of a wait. There were lots of tables for both small and big groups. They had plenty of parking too. I visited here after going to the Ontario Mills shopping center, so proximity-wise it is very good. I would come back if I am in the area. You should definitely give YinTang a try if you are in the Ontario area.

Located in the shopping center with Stater Bros; YinTang Spicy Hot Pot is located next to Starbucks with plenty of parking. Love the concept of YinTang Spicy HotPot as you are able to customize your own hotpot. They offer a large variety of ingredients to add to your dish (meats, seafood, noodles, mushroom, tofu, fish ball and veggies). Since they charge by weight, you have the ability to add as much or as little as you want to the dish. Once you've collected all the desired toppings to the dish, you must choose how you want the dish cooked (soup base or stir fry). Love that their toppings are of high quality and always fresh. Can't forget the sauce bar to add an extra kick to the dish. Staff is friendly and efficient. Will definitely be coming back to YinTang Spicy HotPot.
