My husband and I wanted Mariscos and as we pulled up to the old Culichi Town we realized Culichi was no longer there and now sat a new restaurant with a new name but same concept. We decided to give it a shot to support or local community and we're so glad we did. As we walked in the place looks exactly like Culichi with a few changes one being the front of the restaurant now being a bar which is pretty cool for a quick bite or drink. There's still a stage for live music but since we walked in on a Monday night it was quite lonely with only 4 tables being used. The menu is extensive and there's something for everyone. Their drink menu is a good size and again there's something for everyone. Service was great! We were greeted right as we walked and told we could sit wherever we'd like and she even let us know one of the restaurant got hotter than the other and suggested the middle for more air. As we sat she quickly came to our table to introduce herself and hand out menus. She was funny and friendly and suggested things that were personal favorites which really helps when there's a big menu. We ordered a few beers to start Michelada and a tecate beer can with chili powder and limes which was so refreshing on hot summer day. The Michelada was good but it did have a little too much Clamato and nothing special other than topped with shrimp. We were also brought complimentary chips and salsa and let me just say that salsa is perfectly spicy and delicious, they should sell that salsa to go! We weren't very hungry so we ordered the Spicy Roll & the Aguachiles that come in 3 little dishes with different flavors. The food came about 15 mins after ordering which was record time for a mariscos place. The food looked clean and well plated and came with everything you could possibly need to enjoy the meal. Spicy roll was 7/10 It's a roll, a basic California roll with extra stuffing on top a slice of Chile and a drop of sriracha. It was good but what really makes Mexican sushi stand out is the seasoned yellow pepper and the crunchy onions that are on the side. Omg those were sooo delicious on their own and even better with my roll. Although there's really no science to a spicy roll I can't wait to try the rest of their rolls because it's all so fresh. Culichi towns rolls always had this weird after taste and they always skimped on the onions and peppers, but nope not this place they got you. Aguachiles: 6/10While the portions are good and the flavors are good the onions really overwhelmed the small bowls. As person who loves onions I don't mind but my husband who really only eats the shrimp kinda had to eat his way around the onions. The flavors were also good but the shrimp didn't really absorb the flavors and when eaten alone without the chips it almost felt like the flavor was left in the bowl. Overall my husband enjoyed it and even though it lacked a bit he said he order it again. After our dining experience here I would definitely come back to try other stuff on their menu. The customer service alone speaks volumes, the food may not be 10/10 but I'm sure like any new restaurant they're a work in progress and a lot of times restaurants are always a hit and miss just depends on the day. Thanks again Yese's for a nice night out. Also, you'd might like to know that music is no longer blowing out your eardrums. You can now sit and talk to your table without yelling and enjoy some nice bands music in the background to compliment your meal.

Super sad to see that culichi town closed, the service tonight was terrible. My server Brenda kept forgetting my drinks, forgot to ring in most of my order. She included gratuity (I normally don't mind paying) but we were a table of 7 and she told me the gratuity was 8+. Once I asked to get it removed she changed it to 6+. Change is difficult but this place was not ready to open. Do NOT recommend. I guess we will drive farther to the OG culichi town.

I think this place closed. Visited on Fri 3/3/23 & this was the outside. Called the number and no answer. Also submitted on Google.

Listen just go somewhere else. Drinks were bland. (Mixed drink and Agua fresca) Food was horrible! The ceviche plate was 80 percent diced cucumber and like 8 little pieces of shrimp cut real small. Most expensive plate of cucumber which was $20! Fish tacos aren't sold individually, you must buy the plate of 3. No band, as it was announced there would be. There was at most 6 people inside and still only saw the waiter like twice.

If I had the option of choosing zero I would worse service the waitress was so rude she made us wait so much just to take our order she took our drink order and we told her we where ready to place our order she said we need to wait for that then we call a gentle men to take our order after a 1hr wait just to take our order I would understand if the restaurant was busy but they only had 3 tables occupied this place is not the same as before the food is not the same never coming here again and to top it off everyone that came to eat here had stomach pain.

Tried the Montclair roll and the Vegas roll, something tasted off and it wasn't until later in the night that my stomach started bugging me. Seafood is a very delicate thing so naturally I went to my doctor, who said most likely it was something I ate. If the service was better I Wouldn't mind giving this place another try, but now I'm traumatized and the food messed up my stomach. I was really hoping to find my new favorite.
