Wooden Nickel

Cool dive bar with great drink prices. Haven't tried the food yet but the cook is friendly. Posting a picture of the real menu as the one Yelp has is an elaborate joke someone has played.

If you haven't been here then your probably just scared of the reviews because there's nothing to be scared of. I've lived over here for 6 years and yes I thought it was exactly what the stereotype makes you think it is but it's NOT!!!! The workers are super friendly and welcoming to EVERYONE! Please support your local bar no matter what you think it is because chances are it isn't! It's a great place so PLEASE SUPPORT THEM! Stop in and tell them Amber sent you, they might. Or know who Amber is because I haven't came here enough for them to know my name but Amanda is a bar tender so just say she's the best and the reason why your stopping in. If you have a chance to try the BBQ please do. I will definitely stop in more often now that I know there's nothing to be afraid of. LOVE YOU AMANADA!!!!

A cool little dive bar with pool tables, cold beer, and friendly locals! The owner Randy is a great guy, and the food is awesome too!

Just want to say The Wooden Nickel is a great part of my history. I grew up in area and left in my 20's but I have GREAT memories of this place! Thank you for still being there and next time I make it out that way, I'll stop for drink!

My friends got jumped outside by skinheads during their memorial service being held here for family members who would frequent the bar. Two minors and my friends dad got beat up. Very unsafe place if you are a woman or person of color. The police who they called for help were no help in the situation as well. The bar handled the situation very poorly.

Classic bar bar with outside space to drink. Lots of parking, pool tables, and a nice bartender. Real BBQ on weekend.

I was looking for roadhouses that serve food. Stumbled onto the Wooden Nickel. Outdoor seating, draft beer, and crispy onion rings and fried mushrooms!! How can you go wrong? Mellow folks, Paige the barkeep took great care of us and a nice view from the patio. Great place to chill in the afternoon.

I had just gotten off the freeway having come from Las Vegas in a big motorhome. I Yelped and searched around on-line for a place to grab a beer.The reviews, mostly all very favorable, btw, boasted cheap prices, great food and a friendly atmosphere. I was actually greeted by one of the patrons that was out on the deck outside that made me feel right at home. He even bought the first round!It's a little rough looking, kinda biker vibe, but I've been riding my whole life and felt I belonged. I used to seek these places out because the patrons tend to offer all kinds of entertainment if you know what I mean. Anyway, don't expect anything but a great time and a great value for your money, here at "The Nickel"

Bob is the BEST BARTENDER EVER.She is a girl and she showed us the best time. Ken was cooking and the food was delicious, we will definitely return.
