Wish You Were Here just celebrated their 3rd year anniversary on Feb 17th! Congratulations! It's become a gathering place for tutors and students, parent support groups, book clubs, individuals reading or working, friends reuniting, just generally a favorite spot for delicious coffee drinks, scrumptious food, and amazing ambient music! The staff here really make this place special because they learn your name and chat with you as you wait for your order. So glad to have such a warm welcoming cafe here in the heart of downtown Pomona.

Wish You Were Here Coffee is one of the best coffee spots in Pomona! From the moment you walk in (once you figure out the entrance--more on that later), the vibe is welcoming and relaxed. The drinks are excellent--not just in flavor but also in presentation. I had the Dirty Chai Rose Latte, and it was perfection: smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. My wife got an Iced Orange Latte, and the balance of fruitiness and espresso was surprisingly delicious. You can tell every drink here is crafted with care and attention to detail. What really stood out to me, beyond the drinks, was the atmosphere. The music was calming and played at the perfect volume--not too loud, not too quiet--creating a space that feels perfect for studying, working, or just unwinding with a great cup of coffee. The overall aesthetic is stylish but cozy, making it a place where you actually want to hang out for a while. One small thing to note: the entrance is a bit tricky because you have to go through the same door as the pub next door. It's not a dealbreaker at all, but if you're a first-time visitor, you might second-guess if you're in the right place. That said, once you're inside, you'll be glad you came. Amazing coffee, chill atmosphere, and great service--this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back!

Wish You Were Here has a quaint and chill cafe vibe where people can study/work or simply catch up with old friends. Their food menus do vary as they have a weekday and weekend menu. Wish You Were Here is best known of their delicious drinks. We tried the vanilla sage iced latte, which had a very nice vanilla and earthy/herbal taste from the sage and the breakfast sando sandwich. The breakfast sando is what I personally recommend based on the warm toasted ciabatta bread and hearty ingredients. There is a paid small parking lot close to the cafe, but there is 2 hour free street parking just down the block.Pro tip: enter the cafe through O'Donovan's Pub door. The cafe does not have their own entrance.

Met up with a friend here. The place was pretty full for a weekday, but it was a holiday. There were still tables left though, and people were coming and going at a steady pace. The food and drinks were pretty tasty. The service was friendly but a little absent-minded. I was charged twice for the same item. Luckily the server who brought me the food (not the person who took my order) caught the mistake and refunded me the price of the item sans the tax and tip on top of it. Later, when I went back to the counter for a baked good, I was given the wrong item. This was the same person who charged me twice for the same thing.

Located in the same building as O'Donovan's Restaurant & Pub. The atmosphere was cozy and gave hipster vibes. Not so friendly customer service. We received blank stares and no "hello" or "welcome" upon entering. Besides that, their coffee was really good. I enjoyed their Spanish Latte and my fiancé ordered an Oaxacan Mocha. The Spanish Latte was perfectly sweet with a hint of cinnamon. Their Oaxacan Mocha had a nice roasted cocoa flavor.

I work in the area and have been trying the nearby coffee shops. I don't like sweet sugary drinks and usually have a nonfat latte or cappuccino.I asked about the level of sweetness of some of their drinks and the response was "our drinks are well balanced". I asked for a nonfat latte and they don't ever carry nonfat milk but have very other type of "milk" like almond and others. I wanted to support local but it just wasn't worth $6 for the latte or the vibe.

.., my girlfriend love spending our Sundays here for brunch. We'd come here everyday for their coffee if we lived closer but it's always a special trip to Wish You Were Here regardless. Thanks to the staff, the vibe, the ambiance, the coffee & the food it's a no brainer why this place is in our regular rotation. Today I stepped out of my usual steak & eggs comfort zone & had their amazing avocado toast. This is my girlfriend's favorite dish, as the steak & eggs is mine. But I'd always take a nibble of hers, love it and then say I'll get it next time which I haven't done so until today. Their avocado toast is generous with the avocado which has a distinct flavor of its own. Served upon a cozy slice of toast accompanied with a spring mix salad & optional egg. Depending on what the meal is I vary from runny and over easy to well done. I had my egg well done w the avocado toast today and we also got a side order of steak (medium rare) which was the cherry on top of this perfect meal.We started off with their coffee while we waited for our food as usual and my girlfriend got her beloved iced Vanilla Sage latte with almond milk. As for myself I went with their iced bourbon caramel latte with almond milk, & for my to go coffee their iced Spanish latte with Almond milk. All of which were perfect and hit the spot. Just wanted to give a special thanks to: Suzzette, Hazel, & George today for being awesome as always and for always helping us with stellar service. -cheers

My boyfriend and I were very disappointed with our experience here yesterday. We were excited to try their new holiday drinks- I ordered a hot triple shot cookie butter latte and my boyfriend ordered an iced triple shot Xmas tree latte. Our cashier who may have been the owner was very nice when taking our orders. We tipped based on the good ordering experience we had. While we were in line, we noticed the folks in front of us came in a group of 4. As we were waiting for our drinks, we noticed the group before us had got their drinks, so we thought "our drinks should be coming out next". 30 minutes or so passed by and we kept seeing other getting their drinks made AND their food come out. We were standing by the pick up area the whole time while we waited and not a single barista (there were two people crafting the drinks) who bothered to check in on us. Normally we are patient people and don't like to cause trouble, but after seeing a couple who ordered way after us get their drinks AND food, we inquired about our order. They quickly looked up our name for the order and made the drinks. One apology later, we got our drinks and they were a disappointment too. My latte lacked flavor and tasted of milk. I love my coffee and know that they forgot my espresso shot in there, the one we paid an extra dollar for. My boyfriend's drink tasted slightly better but did not have a rosemary taste to it. His was rhetorical iced drink and I can tell his had the extra shot by looks at taste. We were already running late to our next venue and didn't have the patience to wait further. We were further disappointed that the baristas did not try to make things right with the customers .My other concern was that they left their gallon of milk simply sitting on the counter and not refrigerated. And although the festive Christmas decorations were nice, they were blasting holiday music at high volumes that made it difficult to carry a casual conversation. Definitely not a place to meet up for zoom meetings but if you're here to mingle then this is your spot.I'm sad because I frequent here quite a bit. But this experience left a very bad taste in my mouth and the poorly made coffee and bad customer service further diminished my joy for this coffee shop.I hope they see this and work on their customer service. Two stars because my cashier was nice and friendly and took the time to offer us recommendations for their holiday specials.

Located on the corner of 3rd and Garey Ave, WYWH Coffee does not disappoint! Street parking is available but limited. There are also a few public parking lots that surround the area. I was confused and then realized that WYWH and O'Donovan share the same entrance. So just an FYI! I ordered at the counter and waited for my name to be called. There were plenty of seats and tables but I came on a Friday morning and it was busy. I had the chilaquiles, and the Oaxacan latte both were great! I would drive back for another latte. Prices are reasonable and the service was great! I told my sister about this place since she works in the Pomona area and now she loves this place!

Cute little location I discovered when I was in downtown Pomona. The vibe was uber chill and the service was the same. I had an iced tea and a Chicken Carnitas something that was... interesting. If you are looking for a place to work while you have some grub then this is a great spot, it's located on the ground floor of what looks like an old apartment building.
