Whiskey River Dancehall & Saloon

Fun place, inexpensive drinks, good vibe people and staff-wise. My only complaint is that the overwhelming majority of "line dances" were done to rap/hip hop songs. Feels like they are catering to a younger/crowd, so it's not a true honky tonk/country bar in that sense. That said- you have to keep your customer base happy so if that's what they want, then I get it. All in all we had a blast and will go back!

Went on a Saturday night with a big group for a birthday party. $10 cover charge and they pat the guys down. Place was packed. K-FROG lady was there giving line dance lessons. A band came on. We had a fun time until we got our bill. Three buckets of Coors Light was $150! RIP OFF! That was just my bill. We had at least six other couples buying food, pitchers and cocktails. Who knows how much their bills were. Not happy at all! For that kind of money they should be able to upgrade their bathrooms.

13 of us came last night for a drink or two at 6:00 pm. The hostess at the door said there was a $10.00 cover charge for each person. I asked why and she said a band was playing at 9 pm. Really? I told her we would be gone long before then and she said there would still be a charge. We all went to Saddle Sore down the street and had a great time. Whiskey River management must lose a lot of money by turning away paying customers like this.

A fun place to go if you're not "boujie" Lol!Sometimes they even play hip-hop music.

Very disappointed went to have drinks and eat and have a good time and watch parade but they charge a cover charge o get in would have spent a lot more then the cover charge on drinks didn't go in watched the parade outside with the other pissed off people and went to better bar after

Food service took forever. Cool called out in the night we went and everything was over priced. Atmosphere was great but overall just too pricey. Cover charge and expensive drinks.

Ok so they open at 6pm. We get here at 6:30pm. Comes with a $7 cover. We are told it covers a show. Online it says it's happy hour from 6-8pm. We get well drinks. Why is our I'll $130!!?? For 3 drinks each. Rip off! Be careful of this p

Their food is always good & waitresses are always quick, drinks are really good! just wish they were a little bit bigger serving size. But for the most part I just order a Stella & a double crown (love me some whiskey!) I love playing pool there...I mostly keep myself, i make ideal chit chat with people from time to time

A hip hop bar masquerading as a country bar. If you want to hear Spanish music and rap then this is the bar for you. If you are interested in country music then look elsewhere.

Places despicable I just got kicked out because I went up to a six year old boy who had been sitting by himself for an hour at 9 PM at night in a bar by himself to ask him where his mother was and if he was OK. And the mother shortly after came up and got in my face and shortly after that, the bouncers kicked me out. This place is garbage.
