We came here for a company lunch for New Year's Eve. Got here around 11:30am and there was no wait, which was great. We sat at the Teppanyaki bar. The cook was Bobby, and he was friendly and was glad that he got our meat temps correctly. I usually order a level lower so it comes out correctly. I ordered their Filet Mignon and rare temp. He served my meat Medium Rare, which was what I wanted. Overall, service was good, and the ladies refilled out waters frequently. I'm also glad their fried rice wasn't salty, like other places.

Ordered takeout yesterday and the toro was straight up BROWN. Completely disgusting and knowingly serving bad sushi should require a visit from the health department. To add, the regular tuna sushi had the texture of straight rubber.Note to the restaurant: don't serve OLD SUSHI, it's just good practice and you'd think it'd be basic common sense being in the food business and all. Guess not.

Went for the first time yesterday. The service was pretty prompt, we received our drinks fairly quickly and got our orders in shortly after. The chef was fun and entertaining. The food was cooked and seasoned well. I got nervous that my filet mignon, shrimp, and scallops would be overcooked but they were all actually cooked perfectly. I would definitely come back here.

I've been coming to eat here since 2005 and it's always a great experience. Shawny was always a sweetheart and always would come to our table to say hi. That meant so much to us, made us feel like family. The food is always amazing and they have a large selection of drinks. This place got me hooked on hot saki.. Would I recommend this restaurant, ABSOLUTELY HECK YEAH!!! Birthdays are always acknowledged and they will stored your birthday cake in the fridge for you! It's just an amazing place to eat or chill at the bar! Definitely one of my favorites!!!

Never going back to wabi sabi, me and my wife went out to eat for my birthday and a nice lady sitting near us gave the waitress a big tip also told she was going to pay for our meal , we thanked her she was such a kind lady for her to do that at random and at time she did not know it was my birthday.so it was just my luck ... when we got our check expecting obviously that the nice lady pitched in on our meal ... the full meal ended up being charged to us .. we believe the waitress had better use of the money that the lady gave to us for our meal. Ee didnt press the issue at the moment we said nothing paid our check and left.Thats my story on why i wont be eating there anymore

So my SIL took me for my daughter Sammy's birthday. I haven't been to one of their restaurants in over 15 years. We were at a teppan bar and I had the shrimp and scallops combo. First was the soup which was basically tasteless hot water with a few mushrooms in it. Then the salad which was iceberg lettuce and some type of minced ginger pasty dressing. It was OK. Everyone at the table got the fried rice which I guess was part of the show. I had a ball cap on and wasn't paying attention when the chef asked if I wanted egg. I assumed that some people don't want egg in their fried rice. I no sooner looked up when he hurled a piece of egg at me that bounced off my shirt and onto the floor. To say that I was mortified is an understatement and I let him know in no uncertain terms. If I was alone, I would have left the restaurant. The fried rice itself was very good, in fact some of the best that I've had. The shrimp and scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious. The mixed vegetables were fresh but lacking in spices and tasted mostly of cooking oil, but not greasy. There was plenty of food and I took home half of the rice and vegetables.

I have not been to Wabi Sabi on Foothill in Rancho Cucamonga for a few years. I won't wait that long again. I had lunch at their sushi bar. Lunch included Spanish Mackerel sashimi, which was amazing, peppered salmon sushi, octopus sushi, and a Japanese burrito. Everything was fresh and delicious. Great service, great food and great presentation. I also ordered a Wabi Sabi roll to go. I highly recommend giving them a try or going back.

The service has gone way down and the cooks no longer are funny and friendly like before! I rather go to Gen BBQ next to it.
