Got an email from Waba Grill and it was for BOGO 50, buy one get one 50 percent off. It said it was good in store, app, or online. None of the employees knew how to redeem this coupon nor did they even bother to try and help or validate or honor it. Their "I don't care attitude" made me feel uncomfortable and not want to give them my business. It's a simple problem with an easy solution. Don't send emails to customers if your staff can't honor them.

To the hiring manager/owner, I usually come here to pick up for ubereats occasionally and also to eat. The older gentleman is very thorough and is a very capable worker. I would hire him in a heartbeat if he was to apply (or even promote him to manager), long ago when i assisted in the hiring process at a restaurant. But there is a young man, who has an accent, who tries to provoke/bully and has a hard time doing simple orders when I clearly give him the name of the order. Not only do i show him the name/order on my phone, I find myself having to repeat the name since he likes to ask multiple times before he gives me the order. It's happened the last two visits now. I would fire him or make sure he is reprimanded for the sake of the business. Characters like him will do this to customers when he finds the opportunity as he has already done that with me. I always like to go to Waba Grill because of its healthy and freshly cooked menu. I'm very happy and excited that one opens in my neighborhood. This Van Buren branch is one of the cleanest I'd been so I come her often. Notably, the service is outstanding at all times. The team are very courteous and friendly. I truly recommend this place for a quick and heathy food grab. Say hi to Gustavo and his son (JR) when you drop by. Thumbs up!

I ordered a bowl with brown rice and when I got home this evening I saw that they gave me white rice. Also there is hardly any rice in the bowl. The last few times I went the veggies are under cooked and they hardly give you any rice. Rice isn't even that expensive so I don't understand why they are skimpy with it. I think I am done with this WaBa Grill location.

Unfortunately, due to new ownership, they no longer offer law enforcement or military discounts. Overall, seems like prices are going up, portions and quality going down and good service harder to find.
