This place was life changing. NGL I visit my friends here a lot and they finally told me about this place.I got the loaded nachos with Al Pastor and mixed the green and orange chili. I also got the Cali burrito with Asada.Seriously, this place is so good! I'm so sad they aren't by my place ):Will definitely go here again!!!!

I really wanted to like this place. It pains me to give so few stars to a vegan restaurant but I'd be lying if I said our meal was exceptional. The service was good but that's about it. I got the Birria Ramen and there were barely any toppings in my soup. Wish I had a photo as proof but I didn't take any due to how sad the dish looked. Seriously, it looked nothing like the pictures I saw here!! I was also not a fan of the packaging as they were packing everything in the to-go containers and bags, even if you're eating there. My partner ordered the quesadillas and the portion was very small, too. Overall the experience was a major let down and we both left feeling disappointed :(

Cannot wait to come back here!! Jorge was so friendly and helpful. The quesabirria tacos, crunch wrap, & burrito were delicious. Love the orange spicy sauce. I would order those again and will also try the rest of the menu. I wish this yummy vegan spot expanded to L.A.!

I'm going on 6 months of vegan life, and let's be honest, it sucks. I mean, ethical values have to outweigh taste, but you still have to admit vegan life is usually pretty bland.However, Viva Vegan is not one of those times. I had the Al Pastor tacos and they knocked my socks off! Absolutely scrumptious! Wish I lived closer, but it's worth the gas money!

I did take out on a Tuesday night. This place is next to a train track. It is in a sketchy area. There's very limited parking in front. You may park on the side street. The actual restaurant itself is small and dark. There's only 2 tables. Don't come if you have a large group! Surprisingly, both tables were taken. Since I did take out, my food was ready and sitting at the counter. The man was courteous. It seems he's the only one running the show. I decided to eat my food in the car since I wanted to taste it fresh. I did have to lock my door since there were people walking around. There a vape shop right next door with people hanging outside. Anyway, the 100% plant based quesabirria with consume was very good! It almost tasted like the real deal. It was a bit oily. It could also use more "birria". The consume was so good for a vegan broth. I really enjoyed it. I would try it again.

I've had my eye on viva vegan forever, and they started offering delivery through Uber eats to my house. Naturally, I had to give them a try knowing they're a little far from me, but despite that, the food arrived warm and delicious.I ordered pastor nachos and a horchata for me, and I got fries for my toddler. Right after I ordered, I got the notification that they were out of horchata. So sad! It must be super popular. I'll try it next time, no worries.The pastor nachos had the perfect ratio of chips to toppings, which I appreciated. The chips were still crunchy after their half hour commute to me. The vegan pastor was homemade and had the perfect texture. I highly recommend it. There was a lot of pico on top, a lot of beans on the bottom, and the green salsa was on the side as I requested. The cheese sauce was also a great consistency. I really appreciate that they make their own cheese sauce as opposed to offering shredded vegan cheese; it came together well with all of the ingredients. The portion of nachos was huge and I couldn't finish it, despite being super hungry. I gave it my best try though.My daughter likes the fries. They seemed to be seasoned heavily with pepper, which I wasn't sure if she was going to enjoy, but she ate them up! She also tried some nachos and enjoyed my food too. Overall, I had a great experience ordering delivery from viva vegan. I will definitely order again because they have long standing Uber eats promotions that help to cut down the cost. They have huge taco platter, so that will probably be what I try next. I want to try more of their vegan meats like the birria and asada.
