Okay ........... I'm a coffee drinker. So when you look at their menu board, see my pic, you can tell I'm out of my element. Well, sort of. When I was thinking about my order, I declared my preference and they were very quick to accommodate me. But I asked for something outside my comfort zone ............. I (really they did) choose wisely. The owners were very friendly, helpful and engaging. The vibe was very energizing (just a side note: I there for a community event. This was one of many they participate in. If you check out their other social media pics, you'll they are quite engage with the local community.) While I (I mean they) choose wisely for my drink, when you look at the menu board, you'd hard press to not find "your" drink there. Their variety could be endless. The building has been around for over 100 years, and while it's been renovated, it still has that rustic charm. And better yet, they have a billion (maybe not, but still a bunch of) electric wall outlets by their tables. The upper windows let in a great deal of natural light.I (I mean they) choose a Thai Tea Milk something with boba balls (tapioca pearls). My drink was sweet, but not too sweet, refreshing (must be the Thai thing going on) and creamy. It came with the super wide straw for pulling up the boba balls. These were very chewy. It was a good drink. There are a variety of snacks/food items served, see my pic. Later on, I'll be back for a homemade peanut butter cookie - yum (from a licensed home kitchen). As you can see from pic, they also cater from their trailer. So that you're not disappointed, check out their open days and hours.

I'm so excited that this location is finally open! I like that they are ran by locals so they truly care and give back to the community! Their staff is also super friendly and accommodating! They always offer to adjust my drinks if it's not to my liking, which is never a case! The drinks are always spot on! I love that this location has plenty of seating and is unique from the SB location. It definitely embodies the small town charm and spirit that Redlands has always proudly claimed. They are also literally a block from the Downtown Redlands Arrow station so you can grab a drink or two to keep you hydrated and energized for your trip! This location also has two signature drinks the Orange Blossom and the RFM Creamsicle! I highly recommend the RFM Creamsicle, not only is it super refreshing but a portion of its proceeds go to a fantastic cause in helping the unhoused! Definitely check them out!

Having been to many boba and tea shops in the greater LA area it's always great to find another one to try!Maybe it's because they are still not fully open (no square space online ordering available for this location) but the menu in the store is cryptic at best. Just the name of the drink and no description of what it is or how much it costs. Furthermore at nearly 2:30pm on a Saturday they didn't even have brown sugar boba as a topping which is bizarre given the name of the shop. The thai tea which many people have said is great at the SB location tasted terrible. Turns out I was charged extra for the heavy cream (not even condensed milk which is what I'd assume to get) for a whopping 90 cents more. The thai tea itself tastes basically like water with no sweetness and barely any spices detectable.Moving on to the smoothie. This one isn't as bad as the other drink but still tastes way too sweet. It's also a mystery as to how it's vegan and what the base plant based milk used was. The cashier never mentioned if the sweetness could be controlled in either drink nor is it mentioned anywhere in the store. It's a nice place and ambiance overall inside for sure. However after dropping nearly $14.50 on two 16 Oz drinks (without even boba which wasn't available) this doesn't feel premium luxuiorus or worth the price. Having been to various locations in SGV where the teas taste fresh premium and high quality this isn't one of them. At best you could say they are barely on par with kung fu tea down the street which is sad when you factor in their price. Hope they can improve. I'd move on to another location unfortunately.

My husband and I had coupons for Viva La Boba, so we decided to check it out. Upon entering, I was surprised by how spacious the shop is. There is plenty of lighting, space, and outlets for people to work here should they need a spot. Lots of different drink options. I ordered the Jamaica iced tea and added boba (I loved that I could get this unsweetened). I wish they had more options to be decaf and unsweetened. My husband ordered a Thai milk tea with boba. His milk tea was perfectly creamy. The staff here were friendly and quick. I would recommend if you're looking for some boba!

So excited Viva La Boba is coming to Redlands!! I'm not a coffee drinker at all but their cold brew is real tasty and literally saved me from major jetlag woes. All their tea flavors are delicious and super customizable - the taro is my FAVORITE - AND they brew their boba fresh daily which is so worth it! The owners and staff are lovely and friendly and really care about their customers and the community. We love a local business but especially a shop like Tansu & David's that works hard to give back too. My dad's been in Redlands since 1964 and it meant so much to us to see the way they're honoring the building/lot's history. It's also super spacious and bright with so much personality - perfect place to catch up with friends or with emails!!

As a life long boba drinker, I can confidently say that Viva LA Boba is my favorite boba shop! The servers are friendly, the menu is incredibly extensive, the community feel is friendly, and the vibe is so cozy. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to boba, and the boba pearls here are made fresh and you can really taste the difference. I appreciate the local feel compared to less personal boba shops, and the cookies at the counter were a delicious addition!

I'm so glad that their Redlands spot is open!! They have amazing drinks and super friendly staff. I got their special orange creamsicle drink that I think is only sold at the Redlands location and it was soo good. My usual go-tos are the Thai tea, their smoothies, and their specialty drinks like the IE sunrise! They also sell cookies and brownies if you need a sweet treat to pair with your drink. There is a lot of space and seating and I can enjoy reading a book while sipping on my drink.

I recently went to check this place out, as there are not many boba shops in Redlands and this place is new. So this review is based solely on the 1 drink that I bought. I normally judge a boba spot based on the three common items you'll find at a boba spot; Milk Tea, Thai Tea, and Taro.I got the Thai Tea to try it out. Honestly, it had the typical Thai Tea flavor, but its texture and taste reminded me of the Thai Tea Boba protein powder. I also got it at the regular sweetness level, and wow, it was substantially sweet. I definitely suggest asking to adjust the sweetness level if you are not looking for something overwhelmingly sweet. I only drank half before throwing it away. So out of 5, the drink was 2/5.The inside is nice and has a nice vibe. The back area looks good for studying, and the area near the register has seating for groups. Out of 5, the interior was 5/5.Out of the 5 other boba places in Redlands, this is the 2nd one to be a small, local business; the other 3 are franchises-owned. Compared to the boba shops in the OC and LA areas, even in San Bernardino County, this place ranks as a low D-Tier boba spot.

I had been to their San Bernardino location, many times and I was so happy to see they opened up in Redlands!!! The vibe is very young and fun and chill. If you love Boba, I highly recommend a lot of places I feel like are very trendy and cheap but this place is good and reliable. My favorite place to get a little pick me up.
