Cute authentic restaurant off foothill. There's a fill in bartender from their other location angel. He fills in. ;) Great customer service. try their shrimp empanadas. Best I've had. The cook Willie recommended. Will definitely be back.

I have started ordering food on Sunday and we're doing Mexican food lately. After several weeks of different places we ordered here today and it is delicious!! Our Uber Eats driver, Gerald got the food here still hot. By wrapping the individual containers in plastic the restaurant showed great service and care. We usually go to the restaurant; they do a good margarita, but I didn't want the noise which comes with a lovely restaurant. Our food is delicious and my guacamole was actually made with ripe avocados. Many places don't do that. We will certainly order again.

Ok came here to eat cause I seen it on instagram I was very disappointed.. Got seated it was 95 degrees today they had no AC so it was super hot in there and the service sucked asked for more chips & salsa never got it till after my food came then my beans was not warm paid $30 for margarita flights that was watered down my mango margarita was full of ice chunks the waitress never came over to ask me how was the food or did I need anything one of the worst places I been to as far as service I will never be back here again.... So not worth the $80 dollars

So my wife and I have been trying out quite a few Mexican restaurants here in Fontana where we live. So we thought we'd try this place out and we really like the food the food is really good The margaritas at first needed some I guess extra boost and since we've come by a few times The margaritas have gotten exceptionally better they're great margaritas. I always order the enchiladas and beef taco plate which is my favorite my wife will order different things but I'm a creature of habit so Margaritas enchiladas and a beef taco if you haven't tried this place you should really try the food is really really good. My wife always gets the ice cream in a taco shell which is surprisingly pretty good. Every time we have come by which is probably five or six times the service has always been exceptional. If you have not tried this I definitely recommend it

No longer a family restaurant!!Had to run out of there yesterday because the owner was arguing and about to physically fight with another guest over some alcoholic drinks, mid eating had to leave cause I am not about to have my kids in the middle of this. Been going here with the past two owners and the food was great and welcoming environment, it's now unsafe. The new owner is rude and gets crazy with anyone that makes a complaint second time I've witnessed this as we go couple times a month. We will no longer be going to this restaurant and I advise any families with little ones to stay away. Sucks because otherwise the food is great, new owner seemed great at first, don't know what's happened.

Spot was welcoming. Carne asada Wet burrito was really good and sauce did not disappoint. Margarita flight was ok, too sweet for my taste. We will be returning.

Firt time visiting Villa del MarI ordered Camarones al Mojo de Ajo So delicious everything so good with tortillas echas a Mano, and you can't go wrong with a agua Fresca strawberry with pepino Very good service and fastdefinitely I will be coming back

If I could do ZERO stars I would, and if I can deter people from coming here, then the restaurant deserves to be shut down so they can reevaluate their food and customer service. We went yesterday, it was lively, but nothing crazy or overcrowded. The restaurant itself was clean, very typical Mexican theme. The music was very loud, too loud at some moments. Service: AWFUL. When we arrived and seated, our drinks and order was taken right away. Drinks came out, easy. But the food, DISGUSTING and LATE. We were waiting for an hour at our table. None of the servers told us how long the wait for our food was going to be. Then at the end of said despicable service, had the audacity to ask for a tip. Food: When we did get our food, it was absolute garbage: fish taco was burnt to hell, both ceviche mixto and coctel de camaron had no flavor, bland, tasted more like water and vegetables. The fries and beans and rice were ice cold. DO NOT GO HERE. The price, the food, the service, nothing about this place is worth going to.

I am sad to write this review but service was awful.. yes we got seated fast cuz we were four people but service was so so slow, she did not come to check on us she did not say hey guys sorry for the long wait for food she did not say okay guys it should be coming out soon, she said nothing to us, and when the food finally came 45 minutes later it was not hot at all, it was barely warm, and yea I asked for plain tacos with no pico de gallo or guacamole but for shrimp tacos no cabbage? Or onions or cilantro?, barely warm food as if it's been ready and she forgot about us, cuz we saw her go around to other tables but not us, awful service for the waitress and food was barely okay, not flavorful in the rice or beans either. Didn't say sorry for the long wait, but she was sure fast when we asked for the check, definitely a bad first experience for some basic Mexican food

Food is okay...pricey...Service is just bad...the only time they come around is to give you your bill...other than that they don't ask if you need anything. I have been here for many years but with the new management and waitresses it's just going downhill with the food and service. There used to be this little old man, he was so kind always going to tables to make sure they didn't need anything same with one waitress but they're gone now.
