Vero's Mexican & Seafood Food

I've driven past Vero's many times and from the outside it was pretty unassuming and it didn't look like there were too many cars in their lot, so I never tried them out. Well, today the lady at Midas recommended them while I waited for an oil change. I wasn't disappointed, and it sure beat the brakes (no pun intended) off of Taco Bell, where I was going to go. They were actually quite busy inside, and the ambience was nice to go with really good food. The price was reasonable too. In fact, I prefer their $4.50 bean tostada over the $8.50 (ridiculous) tostada I got at Los Amigos down the street. I'll be back for sure.

I saw a lot of deals for Vero's and seen the name for awhile so I decided to give them a try. Ordered via UberEats.I got the mini fish tacos and the chile relleno. Chile relleno are one of my key dishes in deciding whether or not I like a Mexican restaurant. The Chile relleno I received from Vero's was crispy, with maybe burnt ends. Not the kind where you can eat and digest the whole thing. I know sometimes you can eat everything but the stem but such wasn't the case here. Small thing, hope it's not the norm. Willing to give them another shot.I didn't really care for the mini fish tacos and don't think I'd try any of their mini tacos again. Just didn't get the impression that I was eating actual fish. Didn't see any filet just crust. Again, willing to try them again, just not the greatest first impression.

My brother from Prague came to visit and wanted to try Mexican Tostada de Ceviche de Mariscos, so we brought him to Vero's. This location is in Lake Elsinore off Mission Trail. They closed at 9 but we got there at 8:30 and they were still happy to accommodate, which I highly appreciated!! Service was exceptional, and the girl was super friendly... definitely made an impression on my brother, lol!We ordered 2 Tostada de Ceviche de Mariscos, Chile Relleno, 2 Asada tacos, y un burrito de asada. All this was for my brother since he wanted Mexican food. He said everything tasted vynikající (delish), and the Mexican flavors hit the spot and more than satisfied his long-time craving for Mexican food. I tried a bite of the Chile Relleno y asada tacos, and they were muy delisioso!! I love that the Chile Relleno skin was peeled & seeds were removed (other places leave this on there).They give complimentary chips & salsa while you wait for your food. Tbh, idk how he ate all that bc that was a lot of food, lol!!Overall, excellent service and great food. Highly recommend!!

Excellent t good! Fish tacos were amazing...carne asada tacos..delish...carne asada quesadilla...perfection...carne asada torta ..bomb..kids had breakfast burritos and chicken taquitos ..they torn them up...even managed to make masks out of the tortillas excellent t service...seated immediately ..and very child friendly! Thank you so much!

February 3,2025. 11:30 Ordered 4 meals and received the wrong order and only 3. Called on the phone Lady says she sees the mix up on her tablet got someone else order. Told me come and she would give me my 2 orders of chicken enchilada and my carne asada tostada. I am handicap and do drive so will send someone in the future to get for me. Thank you for calling me back and acknowledging the mix up on orders got somebody else order. But I am not Over you hanging up the phone on me when I first called. Horrible Customer Service! It was only 20 minutes later other customers complained of getting wrong order and Now you call me back saying you see it on your tablet!!! A lot of Competitive Restaurants out here with Great Food. I Had been your customer for 2 years!

Just today Me & my wife went for lunch, I ordered chile rellenos plate and my wife ordered Carnitas plate. This is our second time and today was a big disappointment. The carnitas plate the meat was completely dry. I noticed when I walked in that the chips were stack in the basket on top of each other in an unsanitary way and they were cold. As my wife was eating the rice , she felt the biggest hair in her mouth. She gagged with disgust!!!!! I approached the waitress and she tried calling me a liar and said that there is no woman serving the food. I pointed and showed her that I see a woman serving food without hair net in the kitchen. The waitress was super rude and not one time she said SORRY!!!! This is my last time ever eating here. I gave them a 2 star because my dish was actually good. But that's my last.

Delicious ! I had lunch here and I forgot how huge the burritos are! We ordered the Chili Relleno Burrito and it was bomb ! This is one of my go to spots for a nice lunch and kick back with a beer and good food with friends. 100% recommend

Food were delicious and big portions! I liked their Refried beans. We had fish tacos and carnitas plates...way better than expected!!Their price was very reasonable.Our usual Mexican restaurant in Lake Elsinore was closed, and this was my first time here. I would go back again.

I recently ordered from here on Uber Eats and the burritos tasted great! I got two California burritos with one chimichanga style and both customized were made correct! The burritos here are HUGEEEEE. They're so big and the chimichanga style one basically took up most of the space of the box. I had been craving a chimichanga and this hit the spot. The sour cream and cheese on top was delicious. I didn't expect it to come like that, but wow it tasted great!! The deep fried tortilla was crisp and had the perfect texture. Definitely not the healthiest meal, but I could barely even eat half of it in a sitting. Since I ordered it via delivery service, I can't speak for the service or ambiance, but I can say the food was great. I would definitely order from here again!

Great tasting Mexican food. I had the small mini tacos de cabeza, and a shrimp cocktail with octopus. Extremely fresh, lots of flavor. Delicious! Highly recommend this place. Everyone is always very attentive and real friendly. Will definitely comeback.
