Service was great! Maria was very kind and attentive. The So Hot burger and Original Skillet burger were fantastic. Really enjoyed the loaded tots as well. Would pass on the brisket quesadilla as it just wasn't to our tastes. Can't wait to come back to try the hot dogs.

This place was pretty good $10 for a burger is my kind of spot The fries are delicious and crispy and everything in the back and front of house was really clean I like how they have fun stuff playing on the TV and you can sit down and chill and catch up.The burger was just okay to be unfortunately, yes the price was awesome but nothing made this burger stand out to me in anyway If you want the clean no blood meat than this is the spot for you, but if you don't need that go somewhere else cause the flavor lacks a tad in the finish of the bite.Great service and the gentlemen who took our order and took us out meals was super polite Thank you

I liked the official food art pictures enough to stop by yesterday. In particular, the wrap stuffed with BBQ brisket and macncheese [sic.] seemed like a good place to start. It wasn't terribly busy a little after noon, one table with three guys and a small family in the back. None had food on the tables and appeared to be there for a while. Anyhow, I ordered almost immediately, the guy was nice and I grabbed a small table to wait. After about 15 minutes I was starting to get antsy, and the food was only going to the other two tables. It seems they waited a good deal longer than myself. After a false start (a late item to another table) my wrap arrived. An apology regarding the wait was mentioned, and appreciated. Taste and appearance:Well, it didn't really resemble the official photo, nor could it possibly be eaten by hand without a colossal mess. Moreover, the macncheese was very loose, and until I ate the second half very little brisket was encountered. Apparently it was lopsided in distribution instead of blended. The tortilla in the official photo appeared to be slightly grilled to warm it up. Not so here. In fact, it tasted and behaved exactly like a lukewarm tortilla from the bag. The brisket was buried in the sauce so it tasted OK, but non-distinct.On account of the long wait and lackluster outcome, I seriously doubt I'd return to try a burger or anything else, even if a few things sound interesting.

Service: when I ordered the cashier just handed me the receipt. No thank you, no saying this is my order, so "we'll call you up when it's ready". No big deal. But after waiting about 20 min I see someone who ordered way before me pick up his order and the employee finally asks if I ordered something. I have my order number and my order was sitting there for who knows how long.Food: I got the s'mac and cheese burger. The onion in the onion ring was so tough that it came out of the breading after the first bite. The Mac and cheese was pretty good, somewhere between craft and home Mac and cheese. Smash patties were pretty good. No crisp, but overall consistency not bad. A tiny bit bland overall, but better than too salty I guess. The pickles actually give it much needed acidity. I'd get extra pickles next time

Friendly and positive experience. Adrian was very helpful and looks like I have a nice new spot to come to. I work in the same Plaza so it will be a new after-work spot for me!

Clean restaurant, order and seat yourself. Cashier was pleasant. Burgers a very good and can taste good quality beef. Pricing okay for burgers. Fries overpriced and quesadilla. Wouldn't order those again, not enough bang for my buck. Burgers definitely though.

Found this new spot in the University plaza and loved it! The food is not greasy or heavy and freshly made. The store was clean and service was great!! The server was kind and checked on us often! Definitely recommend if you are near by!

Urban skillet, What a great trendy​ place near UCR! From the moment you walk in, this place feels inviting, fresh, and exciting. Menu items are easy to read and have a very simple but common theme - you will not leave hungry. The friendly staff is there to help you and answer any questions without any corporate influence. This place is simply good. Next time you are in Riverside, you have to try Urban Skillet! ​​​​​

Just went there and got their "oh so hot" burger and it was soooo good! Very friendly staff as well! Can't wait to go back!
