Working with Frank and his team was truly delightful. When I had to switch venues at the last minute, Frank efficiently helped me secure the new date for my daughter's Quinceñera. The communication with him and his team was consistently clear from the start. It was essentially a one-stop shop for me, as Frank connected me with Rene, who handled event coordination, and also introduced me to the food vendor, DJ, Photobooth and cake decorator. There were more selections of different vendors to choose from, if I needed them as well. We were thoroughly pleased with the overall result. The venue was stunningly decorated, and the food was exceptionally delicious, which we did receive many compliments from our guests. The cake was also beautifully decorated and tasted wonderful. We appreciated the opportunity to schedule food and cake tastings beforehand, which helped make our decision. The DJ performed well overall, although he didn't play many of our selected songs. However, we could request changes on the spot if we didn't like a particular track, which kept our guests dancing throughout the night.I strongly recommend this venue for your next large event. It is staffed by a professional team that is both efficient and eager to assist with every detail of your special day.

Sorry, I'm posting this a little late. We had our wedding on November 9th, 2024. We were very happy with the Upland Event and Banquet Center; the service was amazing, and they were able to help us get our wedding organized in about a month. I was lucky enough to find this event hall after my original hall canceled my event one month before my wedding. Frank and the vendors went above and beyond to get our wedding organized on very short notice. Rene, the day-of event coordinator, made sure the decorations were in place, and with his personal touch, it was beautiful and better than I could have imagined. The food provided by Martiniz Fresko Kitchen was perfect, with its unique combination of flavors. We definitely recommend the Upland Event and Banquet Center to anyone looking for a place to have their important events.Thank you so very much, Frank, for all your hard work in making our wedding day a dream come true.

The Upland Event Center went above and beyond for my mom's special day. From the first meeting due to some unforeseen events from who we had originally booked the venue location had become unavailable with only a month and a half before the big day; Frank (the owner) and all his associates did everything within their power to make the transition as easy as possible and Rene (the coordinator) was amazing with all the details in making sure he truly captured the bride's vision. Although they had such short notice the staff and vendors created the most magical day they will never forget. We are grateful to the Upland Events Center for helping create the most beautiful and memorable experience.

I had a great experience here for my wedding. Everything went so smoothly and everybody worked together. The staff is very professional and on it! Frank is awesome he made sure to answer all my questions months in advance. My wedding day went so smoothly. I'm very happy. Definitely check out their packages when I was looking around at venues their package price for what they offer was a good deal.

My daughter's wedding was here at the end of February. I am sorry to have to call this out as I realize Frank is a small business owner. However, I do not feel we got what we paid for and I was not impressed. Here is why: 1) Frank did not set up the number of chairs we paid for, rather he went off the seating chart and we were short 2 chairs (we paid for 2 extra just in case) - when asked for 2 more chairs, he literally said, "we don't have anymore" (they are an event center and we were at 125 people) he eventually found 2 more chairs. 2) Our cousin did not get his meal, he told the waiter, but still never got his meal - so he ate his kids left overs.3) One of the round tables collapsed 1/2 through the reception and Frank tried to blame the people sitting at the table, however no one was sitting there - the table was never latched/locked. 4) I paid for 13 bottles of champagne and 10 bottles of apple cider. Neither were available on the tables, the waiters walked around and poured. I asked to count the bottles, but they never followed up (partly my fault - but why couldn't they leave it on the table? 5) The final straw and why I am writing this, I was charged $150 for a "coffee bar" because he does not serve coffee with the cake. In my mind, I thought it would have ceramic cups maybe, creamers and syrups. I am attaching a photo. It was literally a pump carafe, Styrofoam cups, and cream and sugar from Smart and Final. As I told Frank, I could have gone to Starbucks for $40.00 and at least would have had real cream. I waited to write this as my daughter is afraid of not receiving her deposit back, as of last week (almost a month later she still had not received anything). Not good business. Good things: the bar, the inside was nice but the outside...not so much. We used the vendor for charcuterie - it was well worth the money at $5.00 per person. The DJ was good. The lay out is nice, it was the nickel and dime stuff that really upset me.

We had our wedding reception here last September. We loved it here so much that we did our baby shower here 8 months later. We had such and amazing time here. The venue did not disapoint. The staff was on point. They were attentive. Frank was so easy to talk to. He made us feel at ease and made the whole event stress free. I recommend this place and we will be repeat clients.

We toured quite a few vendors before we decided on Upland Events and Banquet Center. We met Frank and immediately felt a warmth and honest vibe from him that made us decide on sticking with him. He wasn't snobby like other vendors, he was friendly and welcoming. The pricing for what is included was more than fair. They have a system where they go through everything meticulously with you.We had NO coordinator and got through it - keep this in mind. Maybe that's because me and my wife worked hard as well, but Upland Events made it happen for us.Joanna was great whenever Frank wasnt available. The bartender Victor was super cool and worked with us on some ideas. The entertainment Manager John and his DJ Gio were pretty cool as well. The set up looked amazing, we had different vendors that Frank outsourced to help set up like drapes/curtains, a photobooth, sparklers and low cloud machine. It cost a bit extra to make it look how we wanted, but even without all the extras this is a great place to have your event or wedding. The catering service did mess up a bit, but what they did get right was tasty and my guests loved it. Frank worked with me to rectify the situation they didn't do correctly. The cake.. honestly it wasn't that great when we did the cake testing. But at our wedding, the cake tasted so good! We were impressed! They stepped it up!The photographer he recommended, George Swar, did an incredible job! See the photo below. Overall we are highly satisfied with the turnout. Keep in mind no wedding is perfect - ours was damned well near it. My guests can't stop talking about how beautiful it looked and how much fun they had.You and your staff did amazing Frank. Had our event yesterday. Everything turned out amazing! Frank & Rene are superstars. Couldn't be happier with how things turned out.

RECOMMEND OVER ALL!!!! we had our daughters Quinceanera here and it was a great success. Frank is great to work with, Bartenders are friendly and helpful! *Security Guard came in clutch with wire cutters for a situation we needed w the mothers dress*Coordinator Rene is a pleasure to work with he does an amazing job!! *DJ was amazing!! Keep us on our feet all night.Definitely one to check out, you can't go wrong! They have food vendor & Cake Vendor Easy! I didn't have to go looking for any of that! Overall great experience!! I will recommend this venue to ALL!!!

We celebrated my daughter's sweet 16 and our experience was nothing but extraordinary! From the very beginning we felt like this was the perfect place to have our event. Frank was very informative and helpful, very happy with our vendors too. This was such an easy and organized process that if I had to do it all over again I would! The day of the event everything ran smooth and extremely happy with the personnel that helped our event. They even helped us with some last minute stuff that we needed. Again nothing but amazing experience 100/10 recommend!
