Vickii and Oreo Cookii, Service Dog, kicked out of Tuxedo Liquor.
Looks like a 5 year old drew this!
Didn't feel or look real at all!

This business always sells things that are expired so be careful what you get from there. Also when you try to tell the owner about things that are out of date he doesn't want to exchange it or give you your money back.

I was kicked out of the Store while trying to cash in a Lottery Ticket, because my Service Dog was with me. He kept saying loudly to get out. He said no dogs. I said he is a Service Dog and he just kept saying get out. He gave me my ticket back and I asked him if he was going to give me my $10 and he said no, get out! I explained he could be fined for refusing service to me and my Service Dog, but he just kept yelling get out, then flipped me off with both hands.

Beware!!! This place is horrible!!Let's rewind to Sunday 06/18/2019. My husband was in a hurry to cash his paycheck and didn't want to wait for the bank to process the check so he decided to cash it at Tuxedo Liquors. He's cashed a few in the past here so didn't think there was going to be an issue. Once he had the cash, he gave me $600 to deposit into my checking account so I could make his truck payment. Two days later, I stop at the ATM on my way to work to deposit the money. ATM said that it was unable to accept one of the bills I had put into the machine. It spit out one of the $100 bills that Tuxedo Liquors had given my husband when he cashed his check there on Sunday (neither him or I had cash from anything else so we knew this was a bill that Tuxedo Liquors had given us two days before). As soon as I took the $100 bill from the ATM, I knew it was fake (photos attached). I immediately called my husband and let him know. He told me to the liquor store and let them know so maybe they will do something to make it right. I called and I spoke to a guy, I'm assuming the owner. I explained the situation to him and he said "Well your husband should've checked the money before he left the store" and I responded with "Well you shouldn't be handing out fraudulent money in the first place". He proceeded to yell "Call the cops on me then. Call the cops on me then" and hung up on me. I called my husband and let him know what I was told on the phone. When he got off of work, he came to my work to pick up the $100 bill. He headed down to Tuxedo Liquors and called the cops. A police officer came down and my husband explained everything to him. The officer then went inside the liquor store to speak with the owner (not too sure what happened then). The police officer then came back outside and said that since it did not happen that day, there wasn't much that he could do about it. REALLY!? We should've been more patient and waited to cash my husbands check at the bank but they also shouldn't have given us a fake $100 bill to begin with. Fast forward to 12/17/2019. My sister and her boyfriend went to Tuxedo Liquors and purchased a six pack of Green Apple Smirnoff. When they got home they opened one to drink it. When they took a sip, it had a very strong metallic taste. We don't know if it was tampered with or expired but it tasted horrible. They went back to Tuxedo Liquors the next day to complain and return the bad Smirnoff. The owner said that they can just grab a new one from the cooler. They grabbed a new one and when they went up to the counter, they notice one of the bottles in the new case had already been opened and drank out of. The owner told them to grab ANOTHER new one. As they were walking back to the counter with the new one, they saw him grab one of the bottles from the case they purchased the night before and replaced it with the one that was drank out of in the case they were going to take! HE'S JUST GOING TO THROW IT BACK IN THE COOLER SO HE CAN SELL IT!!!! I don't know what is going on with this place, but he is selling either tampered or expired products. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Went in here last night to buy some alcohol....decided on a small flask of jack Daniels for $5.....BEWARE! They mislabel their whiskey and put some watered down crap and put a jack Daniels sticker on it!!I It wasn't even dark the way its supposed to be and the cheap label was falling off of it by the time i got home. But i guess its my fault for not questioning it at the store...SMH never again.

Just a correction. My dad started Tuxedo Liquors, but it wasn't in 1971 as said in this listing, but 1964. I know, since I stocked shelves, dusted bottles and sweeped floors in that store since I was 6 years old. Lest you doubt the validity of this claim, next door to the store in the 60's and 70's was a Kentucky Fried Chicken, which I'm sure is long gone. Anyway, Tuxedo Liquors used to be the best store in Riverside. I hope it still is and lives up to all the blood, sweet and tears my family put into founding it.
