Tulsi Indian Eatery Express

So happy they expanded their menu! Im always hoping for some more purchasable items in display maybe like Tulsi branded cups or something. Anyway, im in love with the salad. I hope it can an option as a stand alone side salad.I agree with the previous reviewer. Chairs or stools would be nice. This chef definitely brings out his talent, would like to see an even more expanded menu soon.

We were excited to try this place out after seeing the Eater article. Expect a barebones counter for ordering tucked within an Indian market. Sadly this means take-away only, unless you want to eat standing at the counter. We had a two curry combo and sadly found the curries and daal all very thin and without many veggies. The paneer Kathi roll was a bit better with a tasty buttery wrap but the fries and salad were both fairly blah and the filling a bit meager. The samosa chaat was probably the tastiest with a good crunch but overall too sweet for our taste.Overall we'd give the food and location 3 stars, rounded up for friendly service and with hopes they are still going through some opening growing pains.

The food is good but the portion was that of a child's meal. I ordered the paneer wrap which came with a few salad leaves and a few spicy french fries. In addition, got the potato sandwich that also came with salad and fries. Great flavor but the fries might be too spicy for some people. This eatery is located in the back of International India Bazaar. We shopped for a few minutes while the food was prepared. The store looks clean and new and it was a pleasant experience.

Omg we just went by and picked up some food and it is so delicious!!! I got the dabeli burger *chefs kiss* my bf got the combo and we were both so happy and will definitely be back soon!

Superb! Authentic! it's located inside India Bazaar. try the ragada patties, poori bhaji, and undhiyu puri.

It's in the back of a small Indian supermarket. It's delicious, and the staff are very kind. Please support this small business. :-)

The whole experience from start to finish is great. Staff is so friendly and kind. Delicious dishes and beautiful presentation adds more points. Restuarant has very nice ambiance.

Delicious food and reasonable proportions. I wish I got more sauce for my puri. Service was also meh. But food is totally worth it!:) will absolutely be going back.

Great new place for Indian food in Riverside. This is in the corner of an Indian grocery, that happens to sell a wide selection of organic groceries. The Kathi roll was really good and the fries have a kick of spice that was a nice surprise. Service was quick and the vibe was interesting with all the products from India that they sell there.

I am happy to find Tulsi Eatery to host a family event. They prepared amazing food on our site and so flexible to work with them.
