Service is horrible the lady looks like she hates working there and she hates you for walking in there. Throws the bread in the bag and the softer bread on the bottom of the heavier bread. I asked for a separate bag and she rolled her eyes and ignored me. I payed $13 dollars for 4 breads and I asked for a receipt and she said she didn't have any.

I spent about a week at this place before the baby shower of my niece. Her Mom, my sister, passed away a couple of years ago. My family did so much preparing for this day to make sure it was super wonderful for her because though she is married, her mom is no longer here. So I asked for a plain cake with thin small black squiggly black borders, and the lines that are SUPPOSED to be peeking out from under the black borders, are supposed to be a color called "Tiffany blue!." I left an example of the color, and even figured that it may be a bit more mint colored as opposed to anything else. The top was to be plain because my sister and I bought the things we were going to put on the top of the cake. I walked in that store and almost pulled my hair out!!!! The cake was a deep forest green, it was HORRIBLE!! Look at the crooked lines that I was told had to be airbrushed to be straight, after I complained. Look at the other cakes, like the white one with the pink and blue on it, above the eyesore. It's not airbrushed but it's really nice right?? Look how huge the black squiggles are, look how sloppily it was done!! Baby is written in caps and welcome in lower case. I was so upset and dissatisfied, I stood in that store and CRIED, the baby shower was in a couple hours!!!! I had no time to go anywhere else. Do you know they refused to give me the cake and my money back for that utter eyesore, because I had no time to go anywhere else, they said if I take it they will take TWENTY DOLLARS OFF!! I PAID $100 FOR THAT UGLY MONSTROSITY!!!! Then if I left it i would get the whole amount back so I left it and had to go to Costco and get cakes at the last minute and slap the decorations on them and rush to the shower. I was THREE HOURS LATE!!!! I wish there was something I could do about how I was treated and how horrible that cake looked. It was a disaster, they ruined a very special day for my family!!!!

Good selection of sweets and breads. It is clean and the staff is friendly. They offer tamales, too. They are really tasty. The prices are very good.

This is probably the best place to get you're Mexican bread conchas/boliyos and other goodies champurado, custom cake, tamales etc in the san jacinto area.. Way better than cardenas go in the morning and get the freshly baked bread.. The conchas have a unique taste and also the boliyos.. Great for making tortas de jamon or asada.. This shopping center almost always has panhandlers though thats the only draw back.. Just ignore them.. bread always taste fresh and great!

Best concha's you will ever try. So soft and just perfect! Love when they come out fresh and warm. The bolillos are amazing too!

I have been coming to this bakery for about a year now. Their bread is always fresh. The tamales they make in the morning are delicious and so is their champurrado. For the holidays I have ordered "baskets made of bread with bread inside", everyone in my family loved them and asked where I had got them! This is my favorite bakery and I highly recommend it.Also, they don't make cakes here. I believe the below reviews are outdated and this place might be under new ownership.

The lady in the afternoon is really rude and was watching how I was grabbing the bread and when I got in my car she was still giving me dirty looks. Other than that anyone who works here is great I'm not sure of her name but is really rude recommend when she's not in the store.

I will not ever recommend shopping this place. Foreign objects are often in the sweet breads. Metal shard in it is by far the worst experience for me.

Worst customer service. I ordered a birthday cake in advance, for pick up at 3:30pm. Went to pick it up at 5 and they had no clue what I was talking about. They had lost their copy of the order. My cake was paid in full upon ordering,yet my cake was never made! They then kept my receipt to bake my cake, and called me to pick it up at 7pm. Me and my some of my guests found small pieces of egg shells. We called to complain and they said that they could not give us our money back. And then finally gave in and said well bring it in and depending on how much cake u have left is how much we will refund you NEVER AGAIN! (WE HAD PREVIOUSLY HAD ISSUES WITH OUR CAKES FROM HERE. AND THEIR ATTITUDES. THEY ARE VERY RUDE & UNAPOLOGETIC)
