12/27/24 I leave this review with mixed feelings coz it should be kept as our secret spot but I cannot contain my DELIGHT at the wondrous flavors of this HOME-COOKED meal. My friends have been raving & talking about how great this place is I finally get the chance today. What luck! We are the only customers & we met Lee & Tram, the husband & wife team whose brainchild is this aptly named Tiny Saigon. Hubby & I have been scouring places to get authentic Vietnamese food, from Westminster to Garden Grove, been to places that have since closed (Vietnam Garden in Artesia, Pho Hoa in Westminster) & are usually disappointed. Now we have found our Mecca! Tram welcomed us, like she was letting us into her home, very charming & sweet. We sat by the jacuzzi. Love the open air patio, so homey. Ordered spring rolls to start. Hubby knew he wanted tendon pho ' I went with bun, Tram recommended the traditional bbq pork--best decision ever!!! Met Lee, a bit shy but with a ready smile as he fired up the grill. Folks, we weren't prepared to be WOWED by the exciting & explosive flavors that assaulted our palates! It's like a party in our mouths! How the tastes just danced in our tongues! Just the sauce (nuoc cham) -- Tram's own recipe--this should be bottled & trade marked, she could make a killing from this sauce!!! Oh my! Fresh spring rolls had an herbaceous aroma & taste. Hubby's pho--love it, the broth had a depth of umaminess that surpassed our love for Pho 2000. My bbq bun, I just kept saying OMG width every bite, so do so good. It has a great while since we've ooohed & aahhed about a place, it's amazing.Tram stopped by & graciously spoke with us. I have to find & read The NY Times article when they interviewed them. I can tell that they put their love into the dishes they prepared & they care about loyal customers. It is the reason that they opened their home to share their home made dishes instead of a stand alone restaurant. Thank you Tram & Lee for the delicious food you prepared for me & my husband, we appreciate your hospitality.

Cutest little backyard restaurant with super friendly service and amazing food. The food is flavorful without being overly salty. We tried several dishes and every last bite of every dish was delicious! For sure a place I will return again and again to. Sorry, I forgot to get pics of the food and it was so good that by the time I remembered to take pics we've already dug into the food lol. I just wish this place wasn't so far from me! Totally worth the drive though!

Great food and atmosphere, the restaurant is in back of a house. It's still like a restaurant for those trying for the first time. Plenty of parking as well. The pho was excellent and one of the better bowls that I've had. If you're a pho lover swing by as I am sure you'll love it too.

Stopped in with a friend on 12/18/24 (sorry for the late review), whom told me about this place in Corona and to meet her there for lunch. I've heard about this place before from social media and been wanting to check it out. Got me their combination pho soup. It was very delicious! Light broth and NO MSG! Very nice family that owns and runs it and it's located in their backyard outside patio area. Very nice decor with a view to enjoy while eating. I definitely will be back to try! They have a 2024 people love us on yelp sticker displayed!

Discovering this place was such a delightful surprise!! The ambiance was perfect, like visiting your besties house and enjoying a wonderfully made home cooked meal! We tried the Spring Rolls, Pho Dac Biet, and Grilled Pork Vermicelli, and everything was absolutely delish! Freshly made spring rolls were the perfect starter, the pho broth was amazing, the grilled pork was cooked well and had the perfect amount of veggies, lots of it! I believe the owner had served us, and she was so kind and personable. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the experience, see you soon!!

I saw a short video of this place on social media and this immediately peek my interest. I immediately was thinking, hmmm, a restaurant in someone's backyard? This is something new and intriguing. So I was curious and said to myself that I want to go here and give it a try.So on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, we met up here with my wonderful friend and her lovely family for lunch. We were a party of 5.This restaurant is located in a nice neighborhood. There are plenty of parkings on the street across from their home. Make sure you don't park in front of people's homes. Just park on the opposite side of the street. Walking towards the home, we could see the entrance to the left side of the home with the Open sign, that leads us to their backyard, where the restaurant is.The dining area is well decorated. They have nice decors throughout the backyard. I love that they even have a spa. The view from here is breath taking. You can see the beautiful mountain ranges in the background. The very nice and friendly lady came out with a big smile to greet and welcomed us to the restaurant. After she sat us, she brought out the menu and water. The menu is quite simple. The 3 main categories are Pho, Vermicelli Noodle Bowls, and Rice Dishes. They also have Fried Rice and Short Rib Plate. They have several appetizer items as well. I like the fact that they only carry the most popular dishes you would normally find at any Vietnamese Pho restaurants. This allows them to concentrate on fewer items and making it fresh and delicious. Just like In-N-Out Burgers, where they only sell burgers, fries, and drinks, and nothing else. There are no chicken sandwiches, no hot dogs, just delicious burgers. This allows In-N-Out to concentrate on making good burgers. So the concept is similar here at Tiny Saigon. Serving fewer items, but fresh and delicious. We ordered Pho Dac Biet, Grilled Chicken Vermicelli, Grilled Shrimp Vermicelli, Rare Steak Pho, Egg Rolls, and Coffee. The Pho was so delicious. The broth was out of this world. I asked my lovely wife how she likes her grilled chicken vermicelli, and she said it was awesome beyond words. My good friend and her daughters said they thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. After enjoying our delicious meals, we had the pleasure of conversing with the friendly and cheerful owner. She talked about how they started this business. We had a very long and informative chat. We enjoyed listening to her story. She and her husband work tirelessly to prepare our delicious meals and we really appreciate that. For those wondering, yes, they do except credit card here. They also have license to operate this business. So don't worry, if you are curious as I did, please come and give them a try. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Will definitely come back here again (will try and bring more friends next time).

My good friends recommended Tiny Saigon to us. They, my daughters, and I came here last weekend. It offers a new kind of intimate and cozy dining experience at a residential home. Yes, this restaurant is located in the backyard of the owners personal home. Neat, huh? Don't worry... they have a license to run this restaurant at their house. Their kitchen is the industrial kind. Cool! There is street parking available across from their house. You enter through on the left side of the house garage. There is a small standing chalk board that says Tiny Saigon in the front. As you walk in, you will see the Tiny Saigon sign above the gate. Walk right in and you'll see the backyard to your right. Space is quite comfortable. Decor is nice. They even have two TVs. The views are gorgeous. Restrooms are available for use.We sat at one of the larger tables since there were 5 of us. Menu is limited to their signature dishes. Prices are very reasonable. My eldest daughter got the grilled chicken with vermicelli plus Vietnamese iced coffee. My youngest daughter got the pho with rare steak. I got the grilled shrimp with vermicelli. We also got two orders of pork & shrimp egg rolls... each comes with 4.OMG... all our dishes were amazingly delicious and yummy. Chicken had great tasting lemongrass flavor and portions were lots. Shrimps were grilled to perfection and of good size. Pho soup was authentic and savory. Egg rolls were crispy and full of ingredients. Veggies were fresh and plentiful. Water was very refreshing. And NO MSG in any of their foods! When it was time for the bill, my friends surprised us by treating us the lunch. Thank you so much my friends! You are too kind and generous.Owners were really nice, friendly, and hospitable. They were very open to share their story on how they got started in the restaurant business and what lead them to a more intimate setting. Their service was impeccable. They made us feel right at home. Their foods remind me of good old fashioned homecooking. Too bad I don't live close by. Otherwise, I would eat here regularly. Nevertheless, I will definitely return for more of their amazing high quality foods, welcoming & kind service, and comforting ambiance. Thank you so much Tiny Saigon! Continue to be super at your homemade craft!! Best of success to you!!!Btw, if you have a large group, please call or text them ahead of time so they may reserve the tables for you. They also do catering for certain items only. Please inquiry as needed.
