This little bakery sells Guatemalan bread and products, they are very nice and you can tell people are faithful to them. They have bread coming out of the oven several times a day and you can tell, people their bread is amazing. No need to go anywhere else. Actually the name is now Latin Bakery

The corner store of a shopping center off of Valley and Citrus. The store front is actually called Latin Bakery. Dont know why the difference. But it's a small Bakery. They have a wall of pastries that you can pick from. And to the otherside they have shelves of snacks and other Guatamalan goodies. They have a small chilled freezer for other products. But behind the counter they have a whole kitchen where they produce their baked goods and other hot items. They offer many types of drinks as well as desserts and snacks here. People working here are friendly. They are quick. And the pastries aren't all that expensive. I did learn that there's a difference between tamales (regular ones which I guess are Mexican) and Guatemalan tamales. Not only in the price but evidently Guatemalan tamales are a lot more labor intensive. A nice little specialty shop close to home that cooks up some Guatamalan pastries and tamales!!

So many great things about this little bakery. The bread is amazing: delicious and soft, just like las panaderias in Guatemala. The tamales, paches, and chiles rellenos are so big and have such a fantastic taste, you'd think my grandma was back there cooking up comida tipica. It's clean, prices are reasonable, and the variety is impressive. Highly recommend this place. I just wish I lived closer. Take it from a chapin: you gotta stop by and give this place a try!

Some of the bread was a little dry which isnt really an issue if youre eating it with coffee but overall it was decent and they take ebt which is great. Prices are really cheap.

Super friendly lady answering ALL my questions. I got 3 different Guatemalan Tamales and they're all good! I especially liked their "pache" tamale which is potato, I think? Love to try different cultures and their cuisines. Curious to try their other stuff, as I'm more familiar with Mexican cuisine ---they are also the location in the shopping center that has sandwiches, which is what caught my attention with their flag posted along Citrus and Valley.
