Great fresh food and delicious desserts. Pick up orders always correct and on time. Have ordered a variety of items and all of them were good.

My son and I were looking for a place to grab a sandwich and saw the banner on the side of the building, showing sandwiches and salads. Upon entering it was a little confusing. It was kind of like a food cart in your local mall. We walked through looking for the sandwich shop, but only saw salads in one shop, ice cream and custard in another, Mexican in another and I believe Asian at another counter. There seemed to be no one in sight. Then a young cashier at the custard shop said he could take our order. I told him we needed to order sandwiches and he said he could do it there, and he handed us a paper menu. We placed our order for two sandwiches and sat down in their large seating area. We told him we would be dining in, but when we were called to pick up our order the food was at the salad counter, but it was packed to go. I ordered the grove and my son ordered the Ben Barton. They were very hefty and mine tasted really good. My son had a different opinion. Not bad for wandering aimlessly into a place that was not planned. I found out that there's a vintage store across the street and that made it all worth while.

A very casual food court type of set up. Good variety of choices. Service was very welcoming and friendly. Super clean. We shared a sandwich and soup, both were super fresh and delicious. Parking was a little weird, but it's Redlands..goes with the territory

This place is definitely a hidden gem! We ran across it one day and wow! They have the best soup and sandwiches! Everything is fresh and amazing quality. The staff are usually younger people and they are respectful, friendly and quick!

Theron's Marketplace is a delicious little gem of an eatery located on the periphery of downtown Redlands on Cajon St., across the street from Bricks and Birch, Wilson's Classic Barber and the Fox Theatre. The best way of describing Theron's is to call it a Food Hall. There are 4-5 affiliated eateries inside the building. They each feature different food offerings for the customer to enjoy. * frozen custard treats * gourmet/entree salads and deli sandwiches* Hawaiian plates * Hawaiian shaved ice* "Señor Theron's Mexican foodEach of these "vendors" is located in their own little area in the building that are connected in the back the employees to circulate back and forth. In this way, the customer can place an order for any of the different "themes" of food from any of the areas. There are also 2-3 empty areas that could be moved into and used by another affiliated vendor for what other kind of food they'd like to feature. If this sounds confusing...it is, a little...until you go in for yourself and see how it all works. It's actually kinda cool. Also, there's seating both indoor and outdoor in a cordoned off patio area on the sidewalk. All of the food options I've tried have been delicious. All of the dishes I've tried at Señor Thereon's (a few quesadillas and a couple burritos) have been yummy; and the portion sizes are very good for the money. I've also ordered a couple sandwiches from the deli that were also yummy. Many of them are named after unique Redlands features. One of my faves, for example, is their take on a Ruben called the "Zanja Special".In my opinion, the true highlight of the place is Theron's Frozen Custard. Their offerings are smooth and creamy and different in texture than, say, ice cream or frozen yogurt. They offer a variety of themed sundaes made from their custard that are also themed from Redlands features and locations. You can also customize your frozen treats with a variety of toppings and sauces. One of my fave treats is an Orange Fanta Float. Sooo refreshing on a summer day.I've been here about a dozen times, and I can say that the employees here have always been friendly, helpful and very eager to answer questions and make recommendations! Overall I would highly recommend giving this little food hall a visit...or two. And sample the various offerings they have. Parking can be a little challenging. There is a parking strip that belongs to the church next door in between the church and Theron's, and Thereon's actual parking lot is behind the building off 4th St. The prices are a little higher than average; but as I said before, you get more than what you pay for. I would say Theron's easily rates 4 stars; with room for a 5th upon future explorations of their menu. Try them yourselves and see what you think. Shop local...eat local!

We'd heard so many good things about the sandwiches here and were excited to try them. We got one ham and one roast beef...they had clever names for them but I don't remember what they were. The roast beef was okay, bread was stale and there was very little on the sandwich itself. The ham was terrible. The wheat bread on this one was extremely dry and hard as if it had been left out. And the ham was the square pre sliced pressed ham you buy in the packages at the grocery store. Very tough and hard cartilage pieces in it. Really disappointing. 3 stars for the roast beef sandwich it was edible but not at all worth 11 dollars. No stars for the ham sandwich.

In our search for frozen custard, we ended up in Redlands at Therons Marketplace. Whats unique about this place is the multiple selections of food. However, we were onpy there for dessert and did not order any of their other food selection. I ordered the Vanilla Custard with Peanut Butter mixed in. This was a custom order and not off their signature menu. The staff was extremely polite and was able to answer our questions of what was their best seller, as well as their personal recommendation. The price is affordable and they offer different sizes. The inside was very clean. There are plenty of tables as well as a outdoor patio area.Parking is somewhat another issue. The building I next to a church, so you have to find parking on the street or in the back of the building. The rear parking is only 1 way in, and unless you're able to reverse your car into the stahl, you'll have to reverse your way out of the parking lot. Overall, this place is a great spot to satisfy your frozen custard craving.

My husband and I ventured in here for lunch. The place was pretty empty besides a handful of customers. We decided to try the Hawaiian BBQ. We noticed only one cashier at the custard location. We asked at the Hawaiian bbq counter if we needed to order at the custard place. The employee said yes. We waited in that line and placed our order. As we were ordering all of a sudden a different employee at the Hawaiian bbq counter took a woman's order who was behind us. Weird. It took about five minutes to get our food which was interestingly fast for Hawaiian bbq. We took it to go and in the car it smelled good. Once we got home, however, the food was mediocre. We got three meats which all seemed to have been microwaved but also have a weird burnt flavor. The white rice was normal. The macaroni salad was nothing special. I would not recommend this place.

The service is wonderful and the restaurant is clean. The staff is very friendly and inviting. The food is tasty and huge portions. The bbq chicken salad is the best around. The Hawaiian plate is enough to feed two and a good price. The Mexican food is way underrated and the burritos are ginormous. The custard is delicious and has a lot of mix in options. Overall 5 stars...I can't wait to see what they do in the two empty stalls
