The Whisper House

Such a cool space! Fun place to watch a game with good food and even better cocktails! Came here to watch a football game and enjoy the outside patio. We ordered some fried pickles and nachos. The nachos were so good, complete with not just regular cheese but also creamy nacho cheese sauce and piled high with guacamole and sour cream! Their cocktail list was so fun and creative! It's not often you find a place to watch a game that also makes great craft cocktails, but this place does! The Pink Lady was my favorite of the few I ordered. If you are looking for a fun cool vibe place to eat and maybe watch a game, but also enjoy a nice cocktail, give this place a try!

One of my best experiences!!! New place for me and our temporary server DAN!!! He is so amazing! His energy made us feel so welcomed at the restaurant!!! He is truly one of a kind!!!!! We love him!!!! He will be our next request for our next visit!!!! We love him so so much! Such an amazing guy! Isabella is also amazing!!!!she is the sweetest soul! Helped a lot with our alcoholic drink choices, she is very attentive!!! Sweetest girl ever! We really loved our service and will definitely be coming back! And the food was great!!! A great Sunday well spent!!

RJ may be the best bartender to ever walk the earth. His knowledge of spirits, and creativity behind the bar is unparalleled to any other bar experience I have witnessed in my 15 years of semi-professional drinking. Or maybe I was just that drunk.Just kidding, awesome experience.

Tonight we visited the Whisper House and were pleasantly surprised how delicious and affordable it was. We went on a Friday evening about 5:30 and didn't have to wait for a table. They have delicious Happy Hour drinks. I had the Vodka Smash which was $8 and amazing. We then shared two apps and a salad. The grilled artichoke was incredible! The garlic dipping sauce was the perfect compliment to the charred artichoke. We also had the calamari which we didn't love. It was way too much breading and the calamari was dry and chewy. We also shared the Buffalo Chicken Chopped Salad. It was so good. The buffalo sauce was extremely spicy and next time we will get it on the side and just drizzle a little. All and all, it was a lovely evening in a cozy table for about $100. We will definitely be back.

Attended a private event here and we had a great time! The drinks were delicious, appetizers were good, entrees were alright, but the service was fabulous! Overall, 4.5/5 stars. A great place to host an event! Once we arrived, a server greeted us and asked for our drink orders. We had cocktails in our hands within one minute of arriving! How lovely Shortly after, a server gave us an individual charcuterie board. The charcuterie board was super enjoyable. Eventually, they took our entree order. My husband and I ordered the steak salad and chicken ciabatta with fries. The entrees were pretty standard. Nothing crazy delicious, but wasn't bad either. We really enjoyed the overall setting! We thought the service was particularly strong as well. I'd recommend hosting an event here -- it was great!

Food is always amazing here! I love the friendly vibes and lighting. The ambiance is so inviting for date night vibes or cocktails with the girls. The service is always A1, everyone is so nice and welcoming. I love this spot.

Impromptu dinner with my s/o. We stumbled upon the fun packing district in Claremont. We quickly realized this was a location you should make reservations as the inside seating is limited and it was too windy to sit outdoors, however the hostess said the bar was open for seating and we were able to sit right away. The bar tender was kind, goofy with her patrons & made yummy drinks. We felt our food was ok, but we enjoyed the atmosphere. We would consider coming back for drinks and apps and skip the average dinner (the grilled chicken sandwhich was dry & the Caesar salad was good, but nothing special). Overall average meal experience but great drinks & vibe of the restaurant!

My boyfriend and I came for a Sunday brunch date. We have been exploring the Claremont area recently since he started working on a neighborhood construction project. I joined the waitlist a few minutes before arriving to cut our wait time. I always recommend this to those wanting to get ahead of the game. Parking was a breeze since a large parking lot structure was adjacent to the restaurant. We were seated within 15 minutes; it looked like a busy afternoon. We started with the ahi tuna tacos, which were fresh and crispy. I highly recommend these; the order comes with three small-sized tacos. We also had the fried calamari 9/10 and pork rinds. The pork rinds were large pieces sautéed in lemon and tajin 7/10. These were small plates (appetizers), enough for two people. I ordered the Oaxaca cocktail and the Tiki Lychee. Both drinks were great, but I recommend the Oaxaca. My boyfriend had their IPA beer, which is his preferred beer. The Brunch Menu- I ordered the chilaquiles with half-green and red salsa. It was okay. I will skip this plate next time around. My boyfriend ordered the 502 burger. We both agreed that our appetizers were much better than our entrees, so this place is great for happy hour! Large TVs were in the bar area, so we watched a football game while eating. Everything looked clean, and customer service was excellent!

During my recent visit, I was fortunate enough to indulge in their calamari appetizer, and let me tell you, it was a standout dish. The portions were generous, ensuring that every bite was filled with mouthwatering goodness. The calamari was perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside and tender on the inside--served in a simple yet traditional style that made it even more enjoyable. However, I do wish I could have explored more of the menu offerings, as I had seen so many tempting dishes on Yelp that caught my eye. Unfortunately, I was only able to access the brunch menu during my visit. While the brunch options were delicious, it left me a bit disappointed knowing that I missed out on the wider variety of items that Whisper House is known for. Their mimosa flight is delicious and I appreciate having the opportunity to choose which juices I wanted (there is a variety). Overall, I highly recommend Whisper House for anyone looking for a satisfying meal, especially if you're a calamari lover! Just plan your visit carefully so you can experience everything they have to offer. I can't wait to return and try those enticing entrees I spotted online!
