The Under Chiefs

I usually visit Lift for coffee, so I was delighted to see that the Under Chiefs serve brunch there sometimes. You can tell the chef's work hard!! I would make sure to give them as much time as possible if you call-to order since it seems like it gets busy! We ordered a variety of waffles for a brunch picnic date with the girls and it was delicious!!! It's heavy and filling, but sometimes that's what you want haha. Got a free waffle with yelp check in too :)Latkes: crispy, savory, and delicious. I was full after half a waffle, so I saved it for two meals!! Cute microgreen sprouts on top too. Lemmon poppy seed waffle: Had some blueberries sprinkled and it was refreshing and sweet! Chocolate chip Belgian waffle: Not a huge fan of this one, but that's a personal preference. I loved the fresh fruits on top tho!

Wowzers!! Food was amazing. Perfect meal for Sunday Brunch. My kids loves the fruity pebbles waffle. I had the Huevos Rancheros and the sauce was amazing! My hubby had the OG avocado toast and it was sooo big that he didn't even finish it.I will definitely be back. Highly recommend

As a long time Lift coffee customer, I was so excited to hear they were going to serving food as well. The fact that the Under Chiefs are a Black owner small business is also amazing! The food is sooooooo good! Everything was just right!I usually am very picky about how my eggs are cooked but without any requests, the egg cane out just how I like it. Perfect place for a pick me up brunch and then a date at Fairmount Park.

Breakfast is super delicious. Quality ingredients with good portion sizes. My OG avocado toast had a generous portion of avocado. Everything was overall super tasty. We will be back soon!

Because I'm currently headed back here for the second day in a row, I figured they deserved a review. My husband and I are obsessed with the Bacon and Egg Bagel. Although Under Chiefs is small, as a foodie, this is arguably the best tasting food in Riverside. They bring a culinary expertise and creativity to breakfast favorites in a way no one else in the area is. We've been here probably 5-10 times during COVID and the food is always delicious and prepared quickly. We've gotten the fancy avocado toast and the Huevos Rancheros also - really good as well. Hope they get all the business they deserve!

Ordered two huevos rancheros, Blueberry waffle and the tax collector. ALL GOOD!! I just wish that we could have eaten inside while the food was just cooked and plated because I also understand that despite the crunchy tortillas becoming soggy by the time I got home, was par for the course and I won't and can't blame the restaurant. The food was amazingly delicious and I just wish I'd ordered more, but it's ok cuz I'll DEF be back!! Thank you Under Chief's for providing great food in a great ambiance. P.S. I didn't take pics of my food because I was too busy eating! I'm an eater, not photographer.

This spot has great tasting food. We tried the chocolate chip waffles, huevos rancheros, avocado toast and peach lavender waffle. We enjoyed every plate! Great customer service!,

The Under Chiefs provide the best brunch of the Inland Empire. They are consistently good. Every single dish is handcrafted fresh with all the right touches. Every menu item I've tried so far has been superb, but my favorite is the waffles benny. The waffles are a perfect crisp with tiny bites of caramelized sugar crystals which pair perfectly with the savoriness of the bacon and eggs. Today, I tried the Latke cheese waffle which was incredible as well. It was so rich and perfectly balanced out with micro green sprouts on top. Everything is just right at a price point that is a steal. I am so impressed with their flavor combinations, fresh, quality ingredients, customer service and speed. Taking care to protect our health, they are providing take out during this time.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Had a custom menu for my baby shower and the food was absolutely delicious!!! I wish I would've taken more pictures but trust me when I say that everything had so much flavor and we got so many compliments. The owner if very good at communicating quickly and had no problem adjusting the menu to exactly what I wanted. They were also there on time to set everything up/super friendly
