The Sushi Sushi

Upon arrival we were greeted immediately and was asked to put our name on the waiting list. There were two tables open and the entire bar was open. However since it was our first time there, we just thought the bar was closed since they didn't mentioned we can sit there. As they clean the tables another table wanted to switch tables, so that they got to clean that too. It's not a big place at all. It felt really busy though. I don't think they have a system down so it felt kind of all over the place. One person cleaned and sat everyone while the other two I saw was doing other things. The one person who clean and sat everyone also ended up taking our orders as well. She pretty much did everything. We ordered and sat, while doing that regulars came in because they sat at the bar and was served immediately. They knew what was up. Have we have known we could have save 30 mins waiting. It was so strange. Anyhow the food was good and very enjoyable. The service as mentioned although all over the place it was very nice and thoughtful. I would definitely come here again when in the area. Thanks a bunch for the recs. Can't wait to try their other dishes.

I'd give this place 3.5 stars. I don't know if this place would have been better on a weekend due to being staffed better, but we'll see. I would still go back. My husband and I came on a Tuesday night around 8:30. There were a few tables open, but they were all dirty and covered in previous guests' plates. The host told us to wait there until they could get it cleaned up. It didn't seem too priority though and we waited awhile. It also took a bit to get the menu and a water order in. The table was really sticky so we felt like we couldn't put our elbows up. That being said, the food was good, the waitress was nice, and The food came out quickly. We ordered the sunset roll and the Cajun roll. We also ordered this thing called a firecracker that wasn't on the menu. It's a fried rice with spicy tuna on top. It also came with avocado on top. It was good. The Cajun roll was my favorite. Overall, I'd go back, but I'm hoping the service is slightly better and the place is cleaner.

Clean inside, extensive menu, friendly staff. Came in on a Saturday afternoon for a nice lunch. Only a few other people inside, we were seated quickly. My daughter ordered salmon sashimi 5pc which was $19. I ordered the Kevin Special no rice roll. Everything tasted very good and we left with happy bellies. We would come back again.

My family loves this place, the food is fresh, the music is great and the people are friendly. Thanks for another wonderful meal!!!

Great service and delicious sushi! Clean inside and so many menu options. Sometimes can be a wait, looks like they may be short staffed at times, but worth the wait. The Mexican Roll is the BEST!

I was extremely shocked at how the inside looked because the restaurant did not seem that big from the outside. It had a bit of a Western feel and ambience...The waitress recommended a roll I really liked but, I sadly forgotten the name of it. It had seared or smoked salmon on the top and that was my favorite part about the roll.We also tried the Udon and I enjoyed that as well. The staff were all very friendly and helped recommended a lot of dishes we really liked since it was our first time there...They also had other interesting dishes on the menu that we thought we would like to try the next time we come back!!So glad we found a very nice restaurant with good food and service!!Cheers!!

Was excited to try this restaurant! We were greeted right away & seated fast too. We placed our order with the server (didn't get her name). The miso soup did t taste very good, it was kind of bland. The salmon skin salad was delicious! Definitely recommend it. The rainbow roll was pretty tasty too. I will say it took awhile to actually get our order & didn't really like that. The decor was really nice, they had a beautiful Japanese vase in the back corner that I really admired (I love home decor items). Overall, I'd like to give this place another shot sometime in the future.

As soon as you walk in it's a newer feel with a more update to vibe rather than the some other sushi spots. Their booths one side is bench seating and the other side is an actually booth. The booths are raised on like a platform. We were greeted almost immediately, but a friendly face. The employees were attentive. We wanted the chicken wings but unfortunately the restaurant ran out. We deceived on three rolls: lobster volcano roll, canyon roll, and the sunset roll. Each built with elegance. The fish seemed very fresh, and each roll had their own distinct flavor. All three rolls were very delicious. The restaurant had a variety of sake, beers, and wine to choose froI did enjoy this sushi restaurant and would be back.

As a regular at The Sushi Sushi, I can't recommend it enough! The family that owns it is beyond welcoming, always kind, helpful, and just genuinely fun to be around. They truly make every visit feel like coming home.Despite being in the middle of the IE, the fish is incredibly fresh, and the quality is unmatched by any other spot in the area. The variety of flavors and options they offer is amazing, and there's always something new to try.The vibes inside are always lively, yet comfortable, making it the perfect place for a casual meal or a night out. If you're in the area and haven't been yet, you're definitely missing out!

Fresh and delicious sushi. Good selection of rolls and alcohol. Nice ambiance inside and service was quick and friendly.
