The Sandbar & Grill

So my wife & I recently moved to the area and decided to come to this bar down a couple blocks. We had an absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Not only was the beer flat and clearly old, but the bartender with the short bleached hair was also blatantly racist, and the comments she made were terrible/unprofessional. It was shocking to experience such poor service even after seeing this place have 4stars. We couldn't enjoy our drinks because of the negativity we heard our whole visit, and honestly it's disgusting. Also, be aware it's called "bar and grill" but they have no food, not even a kitchen which was a let down. We will not be returning and would advise others to avoid this bar unless they want to be treated poorly and served terrible drinks. There's plenty other bars around the area, this place is not it.

I happen to come here on a Tuesday night, which is karaoke night, and had a blast. This place is a great dive bar. Stiff drinks, good draft selection and a solid karaoke dj. In the back, they had a couple of pool tables, seems like a good place to have a beer and shoot some pool.I would definitely recommend this place to come and hang out, the bartender was nice, and the people there seemed friendly enough.

Came here after work to check it out and have to say pretty disappointed. I have no idea why they call it the sand bar and grill. There's no sand no beach theme no decorations it's very plain, there's also no music or background noise it was me and another table but it was uncomfortably quiet I literally bought tokens for the touch tunes just so there was music. There's also no food either not sure why grill is in your name. Beer selection is meh too didn't have much of a variety on tap. The bartender was nice and attentive but I would recommend elsewhere

Bartender lost our debit card. Not even a busy night. She just wasn't paying attention and keeping personal items for customers secured properly. This gave us the inconvenience of having to cancel ATM cards after hours and really put a damper on our evening. Shady!

I've got only been here once for a birthday gathering and there was live music. Everyone was very friendly and we had a nice time.

Went prior to Covid, just found out it was open again post Covid and there was a great new bartender. I went this week and watched and over heard the female bar owner nit picking and completely demeaning her, personally I thought she was doing great she's always given great service and conversation. Found out today that bartender was fired, no doubt for the pettiness of the owner. Never going back, 2 stars ONLY for the bartenders. 0 for the bar itself.

First time here was recommended by A friend For some karaoke and it was really cool especially the bartender "Ravina" she was fantastic super personable definitely A good bartender we will be back for sure.

I came on a Saturday night at about 10 pm. The place wasn't too crowded and was very spacious. The bartenders were really nice and so were the ppl. Everyone was friendly and I had a great time. I definitely recommend this place if you're dropping by to grab a drink with someone.

Our AirB&B host recommended this location for dinner. Not on the touristy pier, is this great little spot for fresh local fish, the Sandbar & Grill. Four of us shared 2 appetizers 2, a bottle of wine and a few beers and 4 entrees. Everyone's food was fresh and perfect. The waitstaff attentive and we really enjoyed this hidden gem!

drunk bartender gave credit card away to someone. being sketch about eveything. even the guy owner or bartender pretending like he doesn't know anything.
