First time there, we went for Valentine's dinner. The sea bass was the best we ever had! You have to try the Brussels sprouts too. The servers were very knowledgeable & our drinks never ran empty. Will be going back soon! The servers were

Ambiance was very rustic chic, not what I expected in Riverside. Food was very well prepared with an emphasis on esthetics. The fish was beautifully seared and baked. I will say the dish overall was quite salty. Service was top notch and attentive with good recommendations. Would go back for sure. Friend had the slow cooked beef short rib which he said was incredible.

The food was okay, it did not live up to its price tag. The brussel sprouts were good and the drinks were tasty. Our server was not friendly, seemed almost annoyed. There were 5 of us and they charged a 20% service charge on our bill, and then handed us an iPad to complete payment with included options to tip and additional 18-25%. I'm not sure why there was a 20% service charge on our bill since we only had 5 people. I guess servers do that so that they don't have to be kind. I won't be returning.

I've been one time prior since my last review and chose not to leave a review as it may have been an off night but after tonight it's clear that this place is inconsistent and has poor lack of planning and execution. Majority of the food has decent flavor and taste fresh while other items are a miss. The service is the problem that this restaurant faces. Previously we had long wait times once the meal was delivered for refills and dessert, while waiting to receive the check. Tonight, experienced something that made no sense from a customer standpoint and management should look into as well. Arrived at 7p and was greeted by a gentleman who said he had to check where he could seat us since there were some reservation cancelations but a couple still on the books. A moment later an incompetent hostess came and told us that she couldn't seat us because the kitchen was backed up and they were no longer accepting walk ins. I said there were plenty of open tables and the previous guy mentioned they had cancelations. She said she's sorry they're just backed up and only accept reservations. So there's a few things wrong with her dimwitted reason... the first is there were several tables open with reservation cancelations. The second you could join the reservation waitlist on Yelp (which is the same thing as walking in). The third is that even if the reservations did come the kitchen would still be in the same place, meaning they would also get poor service or "backed up wait times." This reasoning is basically telling the customer I'm sorry we can't seat you because we're too busy.Management here needs to figure it out- the food could be 5 star but if your service sucks then your restaurant also sucks. There's other reviews highlight longer wait times or no walk in accommodations as well, meaning a recurring theme. Avoid this place since you won't know what you'll get aside from poor service and long wait times consistently.

The dinner we had the night before coming to this restaurant was really underwhelming. This was such a breath of fresh air to finally eat good food. This place is in a strip mall and it's really low-key. You could potentially miss it if you didn't have your GPS on. The inside is really mellow and rustic, and we loved the massive agave plants as we walked in.We were greeted and seated right away. Our server, Casey came up to us promptly and started talking with us about what we'd like to have. Since a wonderful yelper mentioned that the scallops were life-changing, we had to try them. I don't know if I could say that they were life-changing, but they were very good. This year was textbook on the top side only which caramelized the exterior of the oyster and the bottom of the oyster got to just bathe in the delicious sauce without having to worry about getting a soggy bottom. It was a very, very good scallop--almost as good as mom's and better than I've eaten at Gordon Ramsey's restaurants. The loaded fries were topped with short rib and sprinkled with barbecue rub that was brown-sugary with a hint of spice. The catchup was barbecue sauce. I personally devoured the majority of the brussels sprouts. They are so good. They took me back to this time in my life where I was doing long distance cycling. During some rides that stopped by this French restaurant in the Bay Area and eat crisp brussels sprouts that would give me the energy to continue my ride. These reminded me of those.I had the peach burrata salad with Wagyu sirloin. The chef seared this in the most glorious way, the seer put a crunchy bark on the outside of the meat and cooked the inside of steak to a perfect medium rare. Eating the steak was an experience.I wish I had more time in Riverside to eat at Rustik Fork. I'll have to make a trip soon to try the seasonal menu changes!

Great ambiance, delicious food, especially the Brussels Sprouts, and wonderful cocktails! Our waiter was also wonderful and quick to take our orders and bring them out. The best part is parking is a breeze . I highly recommend it for a nice dinner spot.

One of the best places for steaks. They have Australian wagyu steaks. I had the sirloin and it might as well have been a ribeye. So tender and so tasty. I was shocked to see it was not crowded. Beautiful mash potatoes. Cocktail was perfect and the affogato dessert was delicious. The prices for this casual steakhouse made this even better. Casual place with fine dining food.

This was the kind of place where I had to battle with my inner Scrooge. Yes, it's quite pricey, but hear me out. It's attractive inside, the service is stellar, the food is classic, generous, and wonderful. I could never have contemplated such a cool place popping up, let alone thriving, in such a strangely unremarkable area. But it did. And based on our experience today, there is something quite special about this place. It has entranced me. I shall return. And it's quite apparent that I am not alone in that conclusion.Michelle W was our effervescent server. She obviously loved that she works here. She proudly introduced us to their philosophy and standards, talked about their critically sourced suppliers, and gave us good menu recommendations with unbridled enthusiasm. Everything is organic, grass fed, pastured, etc. We were off to a great start, even though I had no doubt this was not going to fit into the usual price range I seek.Since today was a Saturday, they were offering a brunch menu only. I only had eyes for the Chicken & Waffle. Michelle was very specific: this was not a crisp, light Belgian waffle. This is a French waffle. And once I tasted it, I realized it was more like a rich funnel cake, with a fried appearance and more dense. Very nice! Bits of chopped, smokey Nieman Ranch bacon were generously sprinkled over my waffle and fried chicken, and a good maple syrup was served on the side. The chicken breast was cooked perfectly, tender and moist, with a nice crispy batter. This entire entree made me extremely happy. It's very filling, with plenty to bring home, even though I am pretty sure it won't be as magical later.Mr B had seen pictures of their short rib, but unfortunately, that is not a brunch item. So instead, he chose the Brunch Burger, a 1/2 lb of high-quality ground meat with an outstanding smokey flavor, topped with Nieman Ranch bacon, and a fried egg whose perfectly cooked yolk dribbled sensuously down the side. The burger patty appeared to be much bigger than most, and I am assuming it is because the quality of the meat was so wonderful, there had to be less shrinkage. Regardless, it was an exceedingly memorable tasting burger that could easily have fed two. It was accompanied by fried potatoes that were exceptionally creamy inside, crisp on the outside, and seasoned with a delightful, garlicky seasoning salt. They were sinfully delicious. Again, half of it was destined to be another meal. Yay!Rustic Fork has capacity for only around 40 people. Hence, consider making reservations during peak times. Reservations can be made using your Yelp app.If it were up to me, I would strongly suggest you start checking underneath your couch cushions and around your car seats to come up with the extra change to spoil yourself here. I am sorry we waited so long.

Took my handsome man to this restaurant. We ordered the following items: Mac and cheese, Brussel sprouts, and finally scallops. He ordered the sirloin steak with veggies and mashed potatoes. I ordered Cajun shrimp pasta. The dishes weren't anything to cheer about like the good old master Chef Ramsey would say "my grandmother could do better" Mac and cheese were weak and the scallops were hideous.
