The Reserved Garden

I wish I could review the food and ambiance but we did not make it that far. We placed our reservation for our 20th-anniversary dinner well in advance. We wanted to do something unique to celebrate 20 years of marriage and an evening like this seemed like something special. As the day approached my husband decided to email to ask a question and the response was not what we expected. We were told that they have an event that night and our reservation was canceled - no notice. No apology or offer to reschedule either. Just a general "too bad, so sad" response. Good thing my husband reached out or we would have arrived, ready to celebrate for nothing. Service and general respect for customers is everything. A simple, apology or offer to reschedule would have gone a long way. We had told all our friends what we planned and everyone was eager to hear how it went. We were sad to let them know how poorly we were treated and how disappointed we were.

The Reserved Garden is a must go to! It's such a great experience, quaint. personal and outstanding food! You will receive an email to give yiur information, any food allergies, etc. and you will be taken care of 100%. The service is the best and getting to interact with Chef G. is awsome!!

My wife's maternal line is Italian, 4 generations removed from Italy. She'd wax poetically about her great grandmothers meatballs. So when I tasted the food at Il Tramanto on a business trip, I knew I had to bring my wife.We made some last minute plans that put us in the area, so I decided to make a reservation, and saw that Il Tramanto had closed during the pandemic. However, the former Il Tramanto chef, Chef G, was offer a unique reservation only four course dining experience in a garden setting, I jumped at the opportunity and was lucky enough to get a Friday reservation.First things first, you are welcomed, not like a customer, but like a family member coming to Sunday dinner. That level of service continues throughout the entire night.Then comes the food. You are not ready for the layers of flavor. The first dish was meatballs. My wife took one bite and immediately (and begrudgingly) said they were way better than her great grandmother's.I'll spare you the details on each dish, because here's the awesome thing, your dining experience won't be the same as mine. Your dining experience and the food you get will be guided by the fresh ingredients available for when you dine. I will just simply say that every single course was a complete joy.But, the dessert. Oh my the dessert. This dining experience won't last forever. While the pandemic has handed restaurants a setback, Chef G will be back in a successful restaurant when normal makes a comeback. So take my advice, do not miss out on this gem of a dining experience. You won't regret it.I'll leave you with the words of my 13 year old son, "this is the best meal I've ever had in my life."

This is a truly unique and memorable dining experience. The food is always amazing but it's the people and environment they created that is so special. The restaurant in Old Town was "our spot" for daddy-daughter dates and we were sad to see it close during Covid but now we have a new spot that's even more special. The best part was they remembered my daughter and where we sat each time we came in for birthdays or special events. We will continue to come back and make new memories.

The food is delicious. Best marinara sauce I ever had. Truly authentic dishes. Love the element of surprise on the menu versus a traditional menu option. The chef greets his guest and goes over each course except desert, he likes to surprise his guest. The ambiance feels cozy and friendly. Sweetest people .....we hope to go back soon for a cooking class with the chef and another night of delicious food.

The reserved garden is truly a hidden gem! It's a 4 course surprise dining experience in the chefs garden. The food is to die for! Scratch made Italian food with a twist. The ambience is breathtaking, a beautiful garden setting with twinkling lights under the stars. The Chef was formerly the head Chef of the most popular Italian restaurant in Temecula, IL Tramonto. This is an experience like no other! A must have on your California dining bucket list!! I should keep this speak easy restaurant all to myself but prego!!!

BEST DINNER EVER!They went out of their way to make a special evening for us and the food was amazing! We are vegans and a special 4-course meal was prepared that was all vegan. Each course smelled amazing before we ate it and tasted just as good. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Truly a magical experience. The food and service are second to none. It feels like you are part of the family and Chef G puts a little magic in each dish. You can feel the heart and soul that goes into everything he puts on a plate. For any special occasion or just because you want to experience something you can't get anywhere else, do yourself a favor and visit these amazing people and this amazing place. A hidden gem!

This place makes the best Italian food ever and the customer service is outstanding. You feel like you are at your own family's home when you are there. It is always a beautiful experience!
