This bar is perfect for what it is. It's clean, there's plenty of tables, lots of space at the bar, big TV's, and a great selection of beers and few ciders.They don't serve food but you can bring your own. They ONLY have beer and wine. They have foosball, automated dart games, and a Bluetooth juke box. The bartenders are all chill and make great micheladas. Anytime I'm in the area and I'm not ready to go home, I pop in for a drink and a round of darts.

We came here since we had a couple hours to pass before a birthday dinner. Not many customers on a weekday and everything is kind of old here. The service was friendly. I wish they had pool. Maybe it would have been more fun had there been more customers?

Opens at 2pm on a Fri. 3:30pm. No beer. 4pm No beer. 4:30pm, no beer. 5pm, Still no beer. 5:15 Beer at another bar. 4stars cuz place is cool when it's open.

I took my niece here (who just turned 21(!)) and we had a flight each. We came on a Tuesday night at around 2200. Place had about 6-8 people in it and it's pretty cool. Not too dimly lit, and there's music but it's not too loud that you can't have an intimate conversation. I imagine during the weekend this place is probably pretty busy.It's honestly not too dive-y (bar) at all. The floor was swept pretty clean and there looked to me that there were some regulars but no bar flies. Overall it was pretty cool. Craft beer selection is pretty diverse to include something I've never had before-an alcoholic sparkling water. It was interesting...Didn't have any food.

If "dive bars" are you sorta thing, this place is one of the best I've ever been to. They've got a great selection of craft brews on tap, and some hard to find stuff as well (Goose Island Bourbon County anyone?). The BEST part is, they've got really cheap prices on Macro-brews as well (I started my night off with two, 22 ounce Rolling Rocks for less than $10!).The music isn't so loud that you can't hear your buddy sitting next to you, but loud enough so you two aren't playing the "Hey, what song is playing" game all night long. If you don't wanna chat with your crew, no worries, they've got electric dart boards in one area, where you can test your skills against others. Service was top notch. I mean, the place wasn't PACKED, but there were plenty of patrons when I stopped in. The server, all by herself, held it down, making sure everyone had drinks (and refills). If you're looking for this place, it's behind the car dealerships off Citrus (a little hard to find, and you'd swear there's nothing behind the dealership when driving by at night).

Casual place for a beer either alone or with friends. The experience was great yet again and Kyle at the bar was attentive. I love that The Republic carries an array of beers that from in and out of California. I saw Epic Brewing (Utah) and Great Divide (Colorado) on the overhead list. The Lagunitas Cherry ale was so good! I wish they carried that everywhere. Although they have about three dozen craft beers, they also have domestic beers if you'd like a safer choice.

Good place no pool table, good darts, drinks and vibe though. Cozy and overall good place to be and hang
