The Paradox Arcade + Bar

Amazing little place !! Great service ! Great games ! Brought meBack to my childhood! Security is awesome Joey !! Will come again ! Owner made the best of the visit ! Will be back soon !

Unfortunately, I have to knock off a star because they have been so inconsistent with their opening time the past few visits. Their website and Yelp both say 6 p.m. to open. But the last time we tried to come on second Sat in October, it wasn't open at 6:30 or 6:45 so we gave up. Today we showed up at 7:10 thinking surely they would be open but it didn't actually open until 7:20 ish. On top of that, they got rid of DigDug!Love the fact that Paradox doesn't have a TV showing stupid stuff but rather projects cool movies on the wall above the row of pinball machines. Tonight they featured Scorcese's Shutter Island with Leonardo DiCaprio. Sabrina the bartender is always friendly. I ordered the Flower Power cocktail and my hubby ordered the hazy IPA from Brooklyn on tap. Yummy! We played Centipede, Tetris, Galaga, and Ms Pac-Man this evening. Very fun!

It's a barcade and gives a similar vibe to eightytwo in LA. Space is a bit too small and can get pretty packed depending on how busy the night is. But overall a lot of fun! They have classic pinball machines, the Simpson game, multiplayer Pac-Man, and a bunch of other throwbacks. I had one of the sours that was on tap, pretty delicious. Also had some of their themed cocktails like the Marge-Arita, beetlejuice. All solid!

The paradox arcade bar is just that! It's a fun place where you can hang out with friends, drink some brews, and play some retro arcade games. Most games work, but there were a few that were out of service. The area is okay, can be a little sketchy as it's in the downtown Pomona area, but overall not too bad. Parking is awful lol I will say that. I'd def come back. Pricing is decent, they have beer, cocktails etc I hope yall get the chance to check this place out, it's a pretty good time Enjoy fellow yelpers

This is one of my favorite bars. Great music selections , movies and anime projected on the wall makes a great way to enjoy the many selections of Tap beers ,soju& sake and Of course you cannot forget the arcade and pinball games !! Also they offer console games just need to leave an ID to use. The bartenders are great! This place is for everyone! As long as your 21+. Always a great time and when I leave I'm always feel happy with all the great vibes ! LBGTQ owned business!

Super cool bar and arcade! They had a variety of old school games. The bar has specialty drinks, staff is friendly and music was on point! Definitely check this place out!

Nice spot, very interesting drinks and I love the decor. Sometime the machines gobble your tokens but the guy at the bar happily gave me new ones. I'd definitely come back

Cute little barcade. There are plenty of parking spots out front. The machines were all in working order. My only complaint would be this place is a little bit on the small side so you can play all the games pretty quickly. I don't think you could spend an entire evening here, but it could definitely be a nice stop on an itinerary with something else.

nice folks working there, good beers, clean space. Cool ATM gives 10's. Easy parking.Problem was every single pinball has maximum tilt. Completely unplayable for me. I mean, I do a little old school nudge here and there - I don't ever abuse the machines but this was ridiculous.

Fun bar with old school games. Cool place to check out with some friends or a s fun date night.
