Came here for a nice dessert (and to scout baked goods spots in the area so I can order in the future to take to gatherings)The place is located in an unassuming strip mall and the space itself is bright and open. The folks here are very helpful when it comes to explaining the ordering (for future events, etc. and current selection) and very friendly. I ended up ordering slices of sweet potato/ pecan pie and a slice of the Sok It 2 Me pound cake. Loved both. The pie..I mean I love both those type of pies, but that hybrid is the best of both world in terms of flavor and varying textures. The pound cake was also delicious. Super moist and if anything, I would pair it with coffee or tea to cut the richness. It should also be noted I came to this place based on a recommendation of a coworker who grew up in the area. Definitely a great recommendation and I can tell it's one of the places that is beloved in the community (my fave). Parking was plentiful. Only issue is that the entrance to the lot is only accessible on the same side street, meaning if you're on the opposite side going the other direction, you have to drive past and make a U turn down the road a bit to get back.

A Hidden Gem for Dessert Lovers!I stumbled upon this place while in the area, and after reading so many glowing reviews, I had to check it out--and wow, it absolutely lived up to the hype!At first, I wasn't sure if they were open since none of the signs were lit, and the place looked empty. But we noticed the door was slightly open, so we decided to take a chance--and I'm so glad we did!Although the selection was limited (probably because they'd already sold out of most items--always a good sign!), they still had the three treats I was dying to try. We picked up the Lemon Cake, Sock It to Me Cake, and a Carrot Cupcake--and let me tell you, each one was a slice of heaven!Every bite was moist, flavorful, and downright delicious. It's the kind of dessert that leaves you wishing you lived closer just so you could indulge more often. If you're ever in the mood for some truly fantastic sweets, do yourself a favor and make this your go-to spot. Highly, highly recommend!

Always drive by this spot and never even knew it's existed. We were having a family event for Father's Day and wanted something sweet. My mom told me about this place and I checked it out . Let's just say I found my new pie/ cobbler place. Didn't know what to go for until I was suggested the ROSE BErry and peach cobblers .. Roseberry has 5 different berries inside. Blue, Rasp, boysen and straw. Perfect combo of tart and sweet . The peach was also good but the Rose took the crown Definitely need to go back and try the other stuff.

We came here based on the all the great online reviews. We picked up a mini Roseberry cobbler, and slices of sweet potato pie and pecan sweet potato pie to go. Got home, tore into the goodies expecting amazing heavenly results, but was disappointed. The Roseberry cobbler was all juice. I scooped out a helping and it was literally crust and juice. I had 1 berry in my serving. Now, I do not like pie crust and I did like the crust of the cobbler so there's that. I expect fruit in the cobbler, especially when there's supposed to be 5 kinds of berries in there! My mom ate part of the sweet potato pie and was not impressed - said "it's just ok - little too sweet." My hubby ate the pecan sweet potato slice and felt the same. We had leftovers and I can't get any of the fam to eat them. I don't know what the hype is all about. We really wanted to like the sweets but it wasn't worth it. The girl working behind the counter was nice and helpful.

I've had a few desserts from this spot, and I absolutely loved everything I've tried so far. The service is amazing, and the staff members I had the pleasure of interacting with are warm and welcoming. Each time I've gone, I'm either the only person there, or there's maybe one or two other people inside. There's a wide variety of treats to choose from. Of the items I've tried, it's difficult to say what my favorite is. The sweet potato pie is absolutely incredible! It's not too sweet, and it reminds me of the pies my grandmother makes. The ambiance is calm and quiet. They play music in the back, but it's low, which makes it easy to carry on a conversation. I can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu!NOTE: It's in a shopping center, but each time I go, there's plenty parking. I doubt the shopping center is ever packed considering the types of businesses in that space don't look like they generate a ton of foot traffic.

Great people amazing pumpkin pie as usual. I just got lucky that they have a few pies left the morning of Thanksgiving day!

Best bakery in the Inland Empire. You have to try the peach cobbler! Everything is good though. The sweat potato pecan pie is sooo delicious! If you're in San Bernardino, you have to stop at this Black Owned bakery!

Small hole in the wall with delicious desserts & lots of variety: cobblers, pies, cakes, etc. I got their cheesecake with strawberries toppings on it & it was so good! I would love to come back & try out their other desserts & sweets! They also have smaller portions (slices) if you want to try a certain dessert specifically before getting a big cake.

First time in over 10 years I have felt disrespected and discriminated against at Mommie Helens. I was in the walk-in line today to buy a cheesecake. I observed two customers ahead of me in the walk in / non-preorder line being sold a cheesecake. When I got to the front of the line, I asked for a cheesecake. A rude woman barked NO after she looked over to see who was in line. The two walk-ins ahead of me were African American customers. Guess I am the wrong color today. Will never go back. Racists.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The baked goods are tasty. The pies are good. I was t crazy about the banana pudding last time we got it. Will probably try it again.
