We had our wedding here January 20th. I was hesitant due to the recent influx of less than stellar reviews but I wanted to call and meet in person before making any snap judgements. Phyllis coordinates the event space and she was a very nice person. Most complaints in these reviews are from people who clearly didn't read the contract she provided you. My event went off without a hitch. She was accommodating to our crazy schedule and was very helpful when I needed to reach out by email. Phyllis offers a rental package that comes with linens, chargers, goblets, and napkins among other items at an affordable rate. This honestly made set up and take down a breeze. If in need to host an event again, I wouldn't hesitate to choose the orange crest club again!

Let me start off by saying what a sweet person Phyllis is. She made the experience so much easier and stress free.Now, let me get into details.Found this place for my cousin's wedding reception and it was great. From the size and location to the wait staff. Everything was great. Phyllis helped throughout the whole process. Made it seem like she was also a part of the family. She made the whole experience AMAZING.If I could, I would book the banquet hall for all events; birthdays, graduations, etc.This place is truly a hidden gem

The manager is majorly RUDE! We still had a 1/2 hour on the hall and she came in and started shutting down our party. Told the D.J to start winding down, lower the music and said that the music was offensive. Personally I thought she was a bit raciest.

We had our wedding here on November 6th, 2021 after waiting it out from covid. Definitely five stars . The hall is simple but elegant, clean, beautiful windows and pretty spacious. Phyllis is the most amazing host, very helpful and did a beautiful job decorating the hall for us. Very affordable I absolutely loved how my wedding turned out!! Phyllis thank you again for everything! Will always be a beautiful memory for us on our special day. Love The Vasquez Family

Good communication leading up to the event and very fair pricing. Manager is great with the decorations and the place looks better in person. Photos don't do it justice.My only fair criticism is on the day of the event, as others have pointed out, the manager became very controlling. Our caterer did not want to serve before we (bride and groom) arrived, but they notified me they were being pressured. We could only cut the wedding cake in the room, we had to use the kitchen to serve it.Despite paying for the venue until midnight, we were being rushed to wrap up our reception. Manager seemed very put out when the family wanted to stay until our closing time.Lastly, family was helping clean up at the end of the night and tossing trash bags into a truck bed. As recyclables are worth money in CA, the manager accused a family member of attempted theft and "stealing" verbatim. Mind you, these were our own provided cans and bottles. This caused an altercation, which thankfully was settled, but not a good choice of words to use towards family members who have been drinking.I understand wanting to protect your venue and taking all necessary precautions to do so, but in my opinion, there is some hospitality to be expected from an event coordinator. We loved the place but almost felt like a burden.

We threw a surprise 60th birthday for my mother, Patricia, at Orangecrest Club last night. Wow, everything went PERFECT Phyllis was amazing to work with and incredibly sweet. She also recommended our bartender, Tino, and server, Tyson. The whole staff was like family! We are so grateful to each of you for making my mom feel special last night.

I had my event here 8/8/19.The venue itself is nice, clean, affordable, and spacious. It includes tables and chairs which you will have to provide linens and chair covers yourself if you wish. The kitchen is open but you can not use the stove to cook. There's a fridge and plenty of ice that can be used which is also great. There is an outside area that is very beautiful too. It's fenced in and has a lot of greenery.When I first interacted with Phyllis, she was friendly and provided tons of information. Throughout the times we did meet, she continuously asked if we would have someone "play bartender" mind you we only served soda, water & tea. There was no alcohol involved. I didn't think it would be such a huge deal to have someone stand behind the bar to hand out sodas and water but she demanded that we had someone behind the bar. She had asked if we were going to be servicing appetizers, I told her well we will be serving "nachos, pasta salad and fruit" she then replied "wow those are your appetizers".... The day of the event, she still insisted to have a bartender and demanded someone be behind the bar. She also told us when we needed to start feeling up the sinks with ice and placing our drinks in the ice. She was also a bit intrusive and invasive. I had a table setup where our guests can put there gifts and cards, it was also a memorial table for two family members. As I was changing in the restroom she goes in and says "do you have a table setup for gifts because you just had a guest bring a big gift" which I then explained to her where the gift table was. After that she periodically would walk out from the kitchen to I guess, check on how everything was going. Because of everything that happened it did make a couple of our guests feel uneasy. With all that being said, Phyllis does offer decorating and she did a great job on that. Overall I would say everything was ok and that's why I'm giving 3 stars. If customer service was better that would of made our experience better and I could of gave more stars.

Don't get this place the manager she's so rude she will think u will steal there stuff horrible service when it comes to her .

I had my Wedding here and the manager was a pest she allowed the air conditioner to turn off when the weather was 103 degrees all my guest were sweating and crazy hot for like 2 hour.she complained about everything I wouldn't recommend this hall just because the manager.the building is nice but she is not very professional

This place is amazing. Just had my daughter's Quinceañera there and it was nothing short of fantastic.Phyllis is awesome. She answered all my questions and was there every step of the way. Going with the decorations and service package was worth it. The servers were attentive and polite. Phyllis was there with them making sure nothing was out of place and going as planned. Anything that came up unexpected Phyllis went with the flow and assisted as much as she was able. 10/10 I will always recommend this place.
