I was there early in the morning. I could smell the brisket smoke! I had a gorgeous view of Lake Elsinore. It's a biker joint for sure as while I was there, dozens of bikers showed up. They must know the timing of the brisket to be done and served; unlike me who was there too early to try.Don't worry! I will be back

9/13/24Update: Reports saying The Lookout was lost in the fire were false. My apologies for my previous update. It's still standing but roads are still closed. Interview with Barb (owner) here:https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2024-09-11/airport-fire-riverside-county-homes-burned

Amazing service, gorgeous views, and cold beer!!! Be careful as it's off the main road which can get busy but definitely a place worth stopping to grab a drink and some food!

Beautiful view on the side of a mountain overlooking Lake Elsinore. Unpaved parking lot. Biker hangout spot, but also dog and kid friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating. Only open Fri-Mon. Bathrooms are porta-potties, so heads up. Slow, but friendly service. We came for breakfast on New Year's Day 2024. They opened at 8am and I thought it would be busy, but it wasn't. We were the only ones outside with our dogs and toddler. Had the whole patio to ourselves! I tried the country breakfast with ribs. Never had ribs for breakfast, but loved my selection! Also came with three eggs, potatoes, and English muffin. Tons of great food for around $20 prior to tax and tip. I had leftovers!

This is not a place for boujee girls. While lakes provide habitat for many plants and animals, they're also a vital part of the water cycle. I'm so grateful to end this 2023 in Lake Elsinore. In 2024, I'll be chasing my new dream and I'll be successful on this path.Actually, I was on the way to go " Rainbow" the town closed by Temecula, California. This is a country stereo-American dinner in which is much of the food is grilled, as early diners were based around a gas-fueled flattop grill. Seems to be like rancher cities around which you could see the ranch table-dinner settings. Forget about the foods, the view out of windows or outside patio with your dogs, it's breathtaking. The portion of my plate in this dinner is way bigger than Los Angeles where portions are now smaller in los Angeles. The waitress ate ranchy vibe, straight up and no sugar coated !The Interstate 15 serves the cities of San Diego, San Bernardino, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Idaho Falls, and Great Falls. So, why don't you stop by while you're visiting Temecula or Fallbrook. Wineries and Vineyards are everywhere. There's not a lot of tourists here which could preserve Lake Elsinore culture. Back in the day, This town is famous for retirement. But uhmmm, a lot of developers are buying the land that makes this town " one of the fastest growing cities" in California. What a year to end & this is my very first 2024 YELP !

The view here is amazing! I was lured in by the smell of the bbq. It took some time to get seated because there's only 1 waiter. It was worth the wait. I think her name was Rebecca. She was the best waitress I've ever had. Top notch service funny, informative, and ball of energy. I had the bbq pork ribs spicy, sweet, and well season. Served not on the bone so you get a lot of meat. Boyfriend got the sandwich of the day pulled pork which was also very good. I highly reccomend if you're in lake Elsinore the quirkiness of the decor, the great service, and the view is something I'll remember forever

If you are ever on the Ortega Highway, drop by the place and give it a shot. We got here when they opened so it was nice and peaceful and we got the whole place to ourselves. It's a very cozy little place. People were friendly and I love the fact that my waitress was an elderly lady. It makes me so happy about this generation keeping themselves busy and self efficient. Anyway, she was super friendly and attentive. My friend ordered the French toast special that came with two pieces of bacon, an egg, four pieces of French toast and some fruit. My friend obviously loved her French toast because she dug into that first. She almost ate everything and she told me she enjoyed her breakfast. I had the country breakfast and it came with 3 eggs, meat of your choice (I chose ham steak), spuds and onions (I had to ask what spuds were and they were potatoes), a stack of fruit, and English muffin (gave to my friend). I love how full my plate was and they were generous with the fruit and potatoes. I ate everything and enjoyed all of it except I didn't eat much potatoes and packed them home. I ate my eggs with green salsa and it was so yummy. Outside of the restaurant my friend and I took pictures of the lookout of Lake Elsinore and it was beautiful. There were people putting out chairs and sat there enjoying the beautiful view. The restrooms are porta potties so FYI for you. A very beautiful birthday celebration experience. Will definitely come back.

The Lookout was a refreshing experience with authentic country breakfast and cool refreshments. We were warmly greeted and provided an excellent review of the menu as soon as we arrived. The Hot Chocolate down to the Coke in a chilled mug was great. I loved my coffee cup was even cute. The little bit breakfast was just what I wanted. The girls French toast was delicious. And the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito was huge! At the end you get up to pay at the front. Thank you for a wonderful morning breakfast.

Horrible first experience!Took my wife and daughter for an early morning breakfast. Checked in with the kitchen to see how we order breakfast. They instructed us to sit down and they would find us. Waited 30 minutes and nobody ever came to even offer us water or acknowledge if we had been helped. After 30 minutes of just patiently sitting there we just walked out. Never coming back to this place.
