The Local Provisions

This was my third visit and the food was delicious! Great service provided by Derrick and Sam! They ensured everything was perfect, and their friendly personalities enhanced our dining experience. The place is a little noise, due to the acoustics of the restaurant, but the clientele are very friendly and everyone is polite. Great selection of beers both bottled and on tap, to complement the menu. In addition they offer wine as an option. Thank you Local Provisions.

This is just my opinion, who am I but a fan of fresh, good food. But if I'm being honest and fair, the food was much tastier when it was owned and operated, cooked by Matt of "Cheflavor". I am aware that yes, this is a whole different restaurant with a different menu and staff.Service is still counter based which I'm cool with. Almost prefer it. The ambiance/space is about the same as how it used to be, except that there was ALOT more retail and a huge craft beer/wine selection back then.

I liked the ambiance of the restaurant. The whole area around it and outside of it is super cute. Has a cowboy western feel to it. The inside is super casual. You pay at the front, take the number and sit and they bring the food out to you. The one thing l wish they'd change is to have sodas that aren't by the can. They do have a cooler of water and cups near the entrance so that's helpful when your soda runs out and you may not wanna purchase another. My husband said his food was amazing. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was tasty. It did have a huge piece of gristle which was unfortunate. But comes with the territory of pork. Just a bummer with how big it was and it happened to be my first or second bite of the sandwich. The flatbread we ordered for one of our kids was really tasty. But eat it while hot because as soon as it cools, it's not as tasty. My daughter had the $8 pbj sandwich. Their bread for it may be used for their grilled cheese but it should be switched out. The bread is really thick and they have to add soooo much pbj to make the ratio right. It was dripping out of the sandwich and was an utter mess. If they used a thinner bread it would be better and maybe the bread wouldn't be as dry. Also, $8 for a pbj sandwich for kids is kind of absurd. I'm sorry but even if it was better tasting, it still shouldn't be $8. Once we added a side to it, it was well over $11. I just didn't feel the value was there for the money. Overall, it's a cute casual eatery. I probably wouldn't come back but only because I would prefer to try other eateries.

I wasn't expecting much from the food at a place that's clearly focused on its beer selections, but the lobster tacos were a pleasant surprise! They were served quickly, tasted fresh, and had great flavor. The service was attentive and fast, which made the experience even better. Got to eat outside on the patio, which was quaint.As for the beer, there was an abundance of options to choose from, and I couldn't resist going with Pliny the Elder, which was definitely the right choice! Overall, a great spot for beer lovers with surprisingly solid food to complement the experience.

Been meaning to hit this place for a bit, well it happened Friday. It is in Vail headquarters, which is a plus to begin with! Love Vail HQ. Rustic is a great word for the place, just awesomely set up. Front porch dining with picnic tables out back. Small dining room was just right for us. Staff was smiling and awesome! Counter ordering here which suits me just fine. It was busy so it took a couple minutes for our food but well worth the wait. I just love the fact you know your stuff is fresh made. BLTA well executed, Local burger slew but we got the Brussels sprouts and they are fu$&@#%^iing king. These were just so well conceived in the recipe. Bravo !NEED TO WRITE THIS LAST PART IN CAPS I. HOPE FOR A RESPONSE. They have the BEST RANCH DRESSING I HAVE EVER EATEN. No shit THE BEST!Please have mercy on my soul and private message me the recipe. Food: I ordered a patty melt with fries & Cuban sandwich with a side of salad to go. I ate 1/2 of the patty melt and it was a lot of juicy deliciousness in my mouth, sooo good! The fries were hot & perfect. Saving the other 1/2 for tomorrow. The Cuban sandwich was for my husband and it looked & smelled incredible. Service: The cashier was very friendly and professional Ambiance; cool, chill vibe. casual & relaxed. Noteworthy: They sell beer & wine, it's a small restaurant with limited seating outside Everything' is freshly made, so it could take longer than a fast food place. If ordering to go, plan on calling 30 - 45 minutes before. My friends and I went on a Friday and it was crowded and it was going to take 45 minutes to get food, so we went to the sandwich/charcuterie shop which was good too, but this place is pretty amazing! Price: Approx $40 with tax & tip for 2 sandwiches, worth every bite

Came on a Monday night and it wasn't too busy, so that's always a plus. The server was really nice and she was overall just really pleasant which I enjoy. I don't like fake bubbly or completely disinterested, just real. The drink fridge is pretty cool and a good amount of selections as well. The food took a hot minute to come out but that's just because they make it fresh, which we had no issues with. The food was good just a tad greasy for us but still the flavor was there and that's what it's all about. The ambiance is nice within that little Temecula bubble of restaurants and shops.

We finally got around to checking out The Local Provisions on a recent Friday night, and am so glad we did! This great place is located in awesome Vail Headquarters where there's always something going on - this evening was "May Market" night with lots of local vendors, food and kids activities, including the cute little Vail HQ train. While there is some indoor seating, it was a beautiful night so we placed our orders and grabbed a table outside. Hubby enjoyed a Pliny the Elder IPA and I had a NZ Sauv Blanc while we waited. I appreciated the extensive menu with something for everyone (including the little ones) - salads, tacos, sandwiches...but we were there for the burgers after hearing such rave reviews. We both opted for their signature Local Provisions burger with garlic fries and omg, they totally lived up to the hype! Huge burger and so incredibly tasty! They were super busy - obviously word is out on this place. Service was great - everyone was so friendly and helpful. We can't wait to return and try the rest of the menu...starting with the PB&J burger which sounds so unique and delish!

Gabe and Anita are amazing! We love the food. They have Pliney on tap. Amazing! My wife and I come here once or twice a week. The people who work here and the food served makes for a great time. Love this place!

The place is very good, well lit, and not that busy on a Friday night. You order first then you get a number for your food, which I like. The food here were great. Ordered Mahi mahi tacos, the kick in it was great; Lobster tacos was a surprise. It was great. There were a lot of lobster in them. And the carne asada fries. It comes very saucy, so if you like your fries not soggy, order them with sauce on the side or less sauce. Place can get loud at times, but thats a given. Will definitely come back and recommend!!!
