The Hive Wildomar

This place was super good and the service is amazing. I never got her name, but our server was very friendly and so welcoming. She was constantly checking on us and making sure everything was OK.Food was delicious and came out fast. The portions are large too, which I love. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.Thank you guys !

The Hive in Wildomar is what happens when a strip mall sports bar gets delusions of grandeur. They want you to believe it's some elevated gastropub experience, but let's be real--you're still in a parking lot between a vape shop and a nail salon, in a town where the finest dining experience might be the Panda Express drive-thru on a good day.They've got the Edison bulbs, the faux-rustic wood panels, and a menu that talks a big game--"handcrafted" burgers, "artisanal" sauces, all the usual buzzwords that make you forget you're about to eat something cooked on a flat top older than the chef. And you know what? It's actually not bad. The burger's decent, the wings show up with some crunch, and the beer selection tries just hard enough to make you think you're in a real city.But let's not kid ourselves--this is a 7/10 spot at best, and that's fine. You come here because you live nearby, not because it's a destination. You grab a beer, eat something fried, and pretend for a moment that Wildomar is the kind of place where "elevated bar food" isn't an oxymoron. Then you walk outside, see the Walgreens next door, and remember exactly where you are.

The food and service here are adequate but the cost is a bit high for the location. 9/14/2024. Yorkshire fish & chips ($26): airy and crispy beer batter with flaky fish, 4/5 stars.Charred Angus Tri Tip ($29): small apperizer portion, cooked nicely but needs more salt. Roasted garlic enhances this dish, 3.5/5 stars.The Cheezilla Burger ($25): massive portion and flavors, but the cheese wasn't fried to a crisp like in the pic. Onion Rings are beer battered with a nice crisp, 4.5/5 stars overall.Bramblerry Funnel Cake ($15): gigantic & vanilla bean ice cream was even better, 4/5 stars. Wud be perfect if batter was crispier.The food took awhile to arrive but it was well worth the wait and we weren't in a hurry anyway.

My friends and I came here after hiking a nearby trail and LOVED IT! Staff were friendly and prompt! Serving sizes were huge! I highly recommend you leave room for dessert because the bramble berry funnel cake was really really good, and huge!

We stopped in, on a whim, and we are happy we did! Found the absolute best fish & chips this side of the "pond"! We sat bar side, and enjoyed some adult beverages, as well as the Brussels sprouts appetizer. Service was top notch, and the bar area has one of those "touch tunes" blue tooth jukeboxes for some ambiance. We will be back.

The service is always great here. We decided to come for breakfast and grabbed some micheladas, they tasted really great. The food quality was great. The biscuits had a great flavors. The potato skillet with eggs (I forgot the name) Also tasty eggs made perfectly.Great music for a Sunday and it wasn't as busy.

Was craving chocolate cake pretty late, and the Hive was open til 10pm so I got 2 slices of chocolate cake to go. Woooow!! It was sooo moist and delectable... so delish!! It's not overly sweet. It was just right but very rich cacao!! Vynikající dezerty!! I enjoyed every bite, but 2 slices was way too much for 1 person lol!I've yet to try their entrees here bc I've heard it was delicious (vynikající)!! For now, I'm raving about the chocolate cake bc it's worth writing about!!

Went in 2/20/25 Kyle was our bartender, he was on top of it. My lemon drop was perfect, so was my husbands coors light haha! Food was amazing, this was our first time there and we will absolutely be back!

Great small town 'dive bar' thats not divey at all. Live music on weekends, always fun. Greeted quickly by host (please wait to be seated unless dining at the bar). Tons of beer on tap and bottle, plenty of wine choices, and full bar with cocktail menu. Wait staff was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. We had the cauliflower app, its a must-have. Tempura batter, fried, delicious. Burgers are all 1/2 pound, EASY to share with a friend or loved one (but you'll want you're own). Was the meal down with a cocktail, enjoy a cookie dessert, and have a great time.

I am a week late in my review as myself, wife and son visited around 8PM the day before Valentine's day. The restaurant was almost to capacity but we were happily seated as soon as we stepped in. We are once a month visitors and have tried the gamut from their menu. Their food has never disappointed along with their selection of craft beers and mixed drinks. I just want to give a special shot out to Keaton. We have been lucky the last few times to receive her service. She has recommended menu options and drinks in which we are happy to try and later enjoy thanks to her. Because of Keaton I am happy to post this review with 5 stars. Delicious food, refreshing drinks and THE BEST SERVICE! We can't wait to go again.
