honestly, too much white sauce that's for sure. i went here for a ucr field trip and this place was pretty okay. i like this campus's food better than usc! the people here are so interesting and have so many stories to tell. natalie is so cool. i ordered a fries bowl with a mix of chicken and beef. The first bite was good because i was starving but i honestly couldn't stomach it down. the white sauce was so overwhelming and made my food so wet i was not able to enjoy it as much as i should. If you're stuck with campus food, honestly, just eat anything else besides this. Or maybe just cut back on the white sauce because it was WAY too much! overall a good experience for my first time at ucr though!

Just ate the shack for the first time and honestly it was pretty good. Normally, I stray away from middle eastern food, but I decided to give this a try. I did not expect the food to be as good as it was!

I got the fry bowl and it was decent. The hot bbq chicken and beef were above average. The fries themselves were a little soggy and under seasoned. The hot sauce is your basic Frank's red hot / Louisiana hot sauce so nothing special there. Overall it was underwhelming. Strong 6 out of 10. Flirting with a light 7. Staff were great however

New to middle eastern food here. Looks nice and clean because it's new. Nice walkway. Got the fries bowl with half bbq chicken and beef. Avocado is 1.99 extra. Plate came to 14.48. Fries too thin, expected them to be seasoned. Got the hot sauce and it's just franks hot sauce. Too thin that sauce, not halal guys. The meats were good tho. But honestly would rather go to halal guys. The food smells good and so does the falafel. The customer service was real nice tho!

The Nanarita is the worst wrap I have ever tasted. The wrap is dry and poorly assembled by inexperienced (seems like student helpers). The plopped a huge dollop of humus at the top , so all you can taste is humus, and no chicken or rice. The construction is poor - fell apart. Waste of a lunch.

Food is decent and it's an option if all the other places in the hub are busy. Service is pretty quick and they get your order to you immediately.
