The Goat & Vine

The food was incredible, and service was impeccable. It's a cute spot on the edge of Old Town Temecula. Pictures of our pizzas included, and I wish I got a photo of the dessert - sourdough bread pudding. The mound of freshly made whipped cream on top basically doubled the size of the dessert. One of the best restaurant desserts I've ever had.

I'll start this review with the positive, the food IS very good and wait staff is usually pretty decent. Now onto the rest... The wait is long, we all know this and luckily you can join a wait-list which is pretty nice considering they don't do reservations. However said wait-list does not allow for any comment/accomodation needs to be listed. When being called for our turn on the list, we always ask the host if we can be seated at a booth or low table as I have a disability due to an accident and most high tables are a no go for me.Multiple times we have been met with rudeness and dismissiveness and are usually told we will lose our spot and have to wait an unknown amount of additional time. I understand waiting an additional few minutes sure BUT we always see booths/low tables become available and given to people behind us on the list. This happened again at our most recent visit- as we were being taken to a high table we saw that a booth was being cleared. We mentioned to the person seating us that we had requested low seating and could we please be seated at that booth once it was cleared. We were told no and asked to speak with the manager. The manager told us because the other party had already been called (even though they had not been seated or arrived at the host table yet) she could not give us their table and we could either keep the high table assigned to us or wait an estimated 15-20 minutes for the next available low seating. We were very polite despite our frustration and understand how hard things can be in the service industry - however the manager had a very rude attitude and it's very embarrassing explaining your disability to multiple different people in a crowded restaurant. We decided to leave at that point because it was clear accommodating us was a nuisance to them.While I don't expect the restaurant to care as they will have no shortage of guests waiting for an empty spot. My advice to patrons is to not go there if you need even the simplist of accommodations. Temecula/Murrieta has an amazing selection of places to choose from and I'd recommend supporting a business that actually wants your patronage.

March 2, 2025I was visiting with my family for the weekend and heard great things about this restaurant. Since they don't take reservations, I checked Yelp early in the afternoon to join their waitlist, but it never opened. By the time we arrived around 6 PM, the wait was already two hours! If you're planning to go, try to get on the waitlist as early as possible--or be prepared for a long wait.

Such a long story to tell you why I would never recommend this place.February 2025Rude and unprofessional employees . Restaurants are just to expensive these days to give money for a service that just doesn't want you there.

Came here for pizza and I must say it was delicious! Server was attentive and friendly. The ambience was great as well. There is always a little wait but not too bad. So good!

The best dinner ive had in a while. What a great experience. Our waitress was extremely kind and thoughtful.The food is amazing. Nice, big portions that will definitely fill you up. Highly recommend the pizzas!! So freaking good.The restaurant is also really beautiful with awesome decorations. Thinking of holding a celebration at this place next time!

An hour and a half or 70 miles away from LA is Old Town Temecula. It is a town famous for its vineyards, hot air balloon rides, and the famous Glen Ivy Hot Springs. This time, I drove to meet up with my friends and classmates from grad school for our quarterly hang out. We decided to have brunch, or by the time we arrived, was already lunch, at Goat and Vine in Old Town Temecula. BTW, don't forget to join their Yelp waitlist as they seem to be very popular. Now, we know why...Of course, I went straight for a drink, I got my peach and strawberry Sangria. We started with The Hummus plate, filled with some colorful delights bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheeses, and breads. We also tried the Goat & vine salad, which I can say one of the best salads I've ever tried! We were feeling really hungry from the drive so we got two pizzas, The meat lovers aka The Butcher Shop pizza and the garlic lover aka You Confit me pizza. To celebrate our professional accomplishments and life millstones, they served us two desserts on the house, which was really sweet. Great food and service!!! We always have a special experience when visiting this old town gem!!!

The food was tasty but $51.00 for a salad and pizza is a little pricey. The crust was thin, and that's fine, but very soggy and limp. Not crusty at all. The sausage was too salty.

Always so delicious and service is great! Plenty of options and healthy choices also. Good drinks and fabulous desserts!
