Ice cream with a waffle twist! Great new addition to our local Yucaipa dining options! Worth a try if you're in the area, just be aware that there's parking in the back since the front parking isn't generous with very minimal spots and 30 minute limitations.PROS. Ice cream is delicious! Haven't tried their smoothies yet, but if their ice cream is this good then I'm betting their smoothies are incredible as well. If you like crepes with ice cream, chances are you'll love what they have to offer! Plenty of selections with many varieties to choose from. They have ube ice cream! Place is kept very clean with classy ambience and its modern style makes this a fantastic spot to enjoy some time with friends while fulfilling your sweet cravings. Bathroom is clean but can start to see the wear and tear. Service was wonderful and the staff is very helpful if you have questions. Plenty of tables inside and even some games to enjoy with your cozy company.CONS. As mentioned previously, parking in front is very limited. I didn't check the back, but hoping there's a decent amount of parking spots there to compensate. They have a rear entrance as well for rear parking convenience. If waffles or crepes isn't your cup of tea (they don't have crepes but it's a similar comparison), then stick to simply ice cream scoops or their smoothies. Waffles and ice cream isn't my thing, but my wife loves the waffle/crepe-ice cream mix and enjoyed what we ordered. Personally, I'd probably be back to try their smoothies, but other than that it didn't stick out enough for me to overrule Dairy Queen's banana split blizzards nearby. Having a "unique" product, I must say their prices are a bit high for some ice cream and a waffle. Rather go to DQ for their affordability and satisfying blizzards.Overall, we're not disappointed to have given this spot a try, but I wouldn't consider it a hidden gem. Having another local option for desserts in Yucaipa is great with their wonderful ice cream selections and service, but probably not worth a long drive. Solid 4 stars for The Dolly Llama and their delicious ice cream!

Delicious ice cream!! Favorite is Horchata! We loved the OG Sugar n Spice on a waffle! The area is clean and great customer service.

Lots of options. Clean store. Freshly made waffles. First time here, and I ordered the dollys dream in bubble waffle. We come back and try other flavors.

New treats in town! The girl working the counter was hit with three groups (including myself at once). She was polite and I watched as she took care to make each treat she created look pretty! She also allowed the customers before me to try the different ice cream flavors! The puffle waffles are made on site! I saw a comment below that said they used waffles in a bag? But the young lady made my puffle fresh and I also watched her make another regular waffle for another customer after me. I came here mostly for a puffle! They're one of my favorite treats and I usually actually prefer them plain with some sweetened condensed milk drizzled on top but I decided to get a little fancier with it. Their puffles are a little richer than others I've had, the one I got here isn't airy, it was a fuller dough and I really enjoyed it. The ice cream soaked into the bottom part of the puffle and that was my favorite part! Because of their richer bread it didn't get soggy like other puffles I've had. I was sad to see a few bad reviews regarding service, because it's a new place so staff is obviously still getting their feet under them but I think the girl working the counter did a great job! She was kind, sure to ask what I (and the other patrons) wanted with each detail of our individual treats.I'll definitely be returning again!

Very excited when there are new ice cream shops to be tried. Normally we make the 40 minute drive to downtown Riverside to go to 'Afters ice cream' because it is fantastic and after doing some research on The Dolly Llama brand, our hopes were high. Five of us went and we tried a very big assortment of the different options they have from cones to waffle to their "specialties". Although there was a lot of different ways to serve the ice cream, I was disappointed at the flavors-I even asked if they were exclusive to their brand - they looked like thrifty ice cream(which I love) but from what I remember, there were definitely not as many options. The ice cream was good not great and we spent about $50. We would've all been equally satisfied with spending $15 at Rite Aid. The Customer Service was decent not GREAT . We really wanted to love this place but we will continue to make the drive to Riverside when we want something special. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

The shakes here are so good and they have some very unique ice cream flavors! I added in horchata ice cream into my coffee shake which gave a nice iced horchata latte vibe to mine. My sister had a mint chip shake and my mom had a cookies and cream shake. All of which were thoroughly enjoyed and did not last long. The service was great. There was only one person there but they handled us really well and were very informative about what you can mix in into the shakes and what else they make here. It was very clean and nice in here but we didn't get to enjoy due to a fast schedule that day but if we had, I'm sure we would've enjoyed that too.

Really liked the atmosphere. Ice cream was good. The waffles are amazing! Portions are huge. Even a small scoop I couldn't finish. Took our teen group there and had a great time. Music was a little loud on top of a bunch of teenagers yelling at each other but we will be returning.

Tried Dolly Llama tonight and was not disappointed. The owner was super friendly and helpful. The treats were delicious! The place was clean and has a cute vibe. We tried the OG sugar and spice, soooo good! My daughter got the bubble dolly's dream and said it was also delish! We will be back for sure!

So we tried this place last night since it was brand new in Yucaipa and heard pretty good reviews. We went around 7pm and it was empty so we got lucky we assumed and beat the crowd. We were greeted as we made our way to the counter and even tried some samples which were very tasty. After we decided what we wanted, we noticed that both the worker and the manager I assume didn't pay attention to us. After about 4-5 minutes I had to ask if they were still open since it seemed as if they were more focused on the tablet and cleaning rather then customer service. Odd, but OK. They are new and probably figuring it out. I ordered a Dolly's Dream ($10) with the normal recipe that's on the menu of Cookie Monster ice cream. My wife ordered a Llamas Gone Nuts but with Salted Caramel ice cream instead of what was in the pic. After a few minutes the manager delivered our ice cream and the first thing we noticed was that the order was wrong. They gave my wife vanilla ice cream instead of the Salted Caramel she asked for. Not too much of a big deal but kind of an issue since we were the only ones there. Overall, ice cream was good. Service could have been better and in my opinion it's a bit overpriced. $10 for these items seems excessive. I'm sure we'll go back and give them another chance.

Lots of options. A little pricey but everything I've tried is very tasty and very fair Portions. Nice and friendly work force
