This place gives good study vibes it's not loud and people look like their actually getting their shit done. they also have a cute little play area for kids! it doesn't really go with the vibe tho you know? study + have ur kids play like ... i won't be able to study. so maybe you guys could turn it into like a cool comfy study zone. the ube latte was actually gas, not to sweet and not too bitter. i would def order this again.

Visited because I saw great reviews on Yelp and wanted to try it. Found the employees unfriendly and they did not acknowledge us even though we were the only customers in line and directly in front of them. Usually other places say something like "be with you in a sec" to acknowledge your presence but we felt very awkward when both employees were just silent and ignoring us.Drinks were bad -- got the cold brew (tasted extremely watered down) and chai.

I really hate reviewing a place when it's not really about the quality of their food, because let's face it, I'm willing to be a little flexible about bad service if the food is amazing. HOWEVER, Dirty Penguin, you've been bookmarked for a while, and when I finally went yesterday morning to give it a try I was miffed and disappointed. My breakfast date and I showed up at 7:59am, and noted that the store front looked closed, even though the doors told us they open at 8am. No problem, surely someone will pull back the drapes and unlock the doors when the time came. Alas no. An employee literally pulled up at the same time we did, unlocked the door and went in herself. Weird, but surely there is someone else in there...someone else preparing the restaurant to receive guests who want coffee...fresh breakfast offerings. Obliviously, we walked in ourselves and found an unlit, dead quiet establishment. The employee, a woman, was the only employee...a seemingly unapologetic, and unfriendly one at that. I called out to her to sheepishly let her know we'd take a seat (figuring she would appreciate not being harassed with two figures standing at the counter when she wasn't ready. Long story short, we didn't feel good about the lack of preparation...wondered what quality we would be receiving...how looong it might take, it was all bad. Perhaps if the barista had seemed more humble about the state of affairs, more grace and patience would've been given. But not for us. We left and promptly ate somewhere that was ready when we walked in. Save yourself the time and energy. Hopefully, they figure out what the problem is, because there seems to be a stream of unhappy reviews recently...smh.

Cute little place in Chino Hills that can be a little difficult to find. Luckily there was plenty of parking. I had the iced sea salt caramel latte and I liked it, but wish it had just a bit more caramel. The avocado toast was good too but wasn't super out of this world. The place itself has a decent amount of seating and had cute interior decorating too. For a Friday morning it was busy but there was still seating.

I have been to many coffee shops so I have a good idea of what good quality coffee drink should taste like and unfortunately this place fell short. I ordered the taro latte which is one of their "signature" drinks. It was nothing special in my humble opinion. The cafe itself gave a weird vibe for whatever reason. It is not a warm spot like some other coffee shops such as intellegensia coffee that upon walking in, you would want to stay and hang out for hours....Service was basic and nice.If I am ever in this area, I would check out another coffee shop. I am still not sure why this place is THIS popular.....

I stumbled upon this place when I was out in the field during a work day, as I am a case manager and have to go to client meetings. I went here because I am not going to Starbucks currently and I am glad that I did! It was a little difficult to find because they don't have a sign on their building, only signs on the floor. I got the lox bagel and it was very yummy! It did take a little while to make and I thought that they may have forgotten about me, but after a little while I got my food. There was arugula, tomatoes, capers, cream cheese, and salmon on the bagel The atmosphere inside is very cute as there's like a little playhouse for kids and there are a couple of seats outside. I would totally come here again!

Donut worry, I'm not catching any Coffeelings! (Defining Coffeelings as a liking to coffee). Let me explain:The Dirty Little Penguin is located in Chino Hills and in an area that is shared with other businesses. I ordered the rose latte, which means I ordered coffee by mistake. No one's fault but my own. For me, in general, coffee is pure smell. No offense to anyone who loves it. This beverage might be absolutely wonderful to someone who loves coffee. I have tried over the years to enjoy it, but I'm just not shook on coffee myself.However, I had it made with oat milk, which was not so bad. I'm not falling in love with coffee anytime soon; I see now that they have coffee-free drinks that I cannot wait to try. I also had the raspberry vegan cake donut that was wickedly delightful. I'm usually not a huge fan of cake donuts, but it was notably memorable. Overall, this is a wonderful place to visit. Next time I have my eyes on the vegan breakfast burrito and the rose teappuchino. The chai and golden milk sound great as well. There were a number of different vegan donuts offered. Staff was friendly; They have a restroom and indoor/outdoor seating. "Time is not refundable use it with intention!"

Cute coffee shop with good vibes and plenty of space to hang out or study! Coffee was good. Nothing spectacular flavor wise. I tried the sea salt caramel latte - did not taste the caramel and tasted some salt at the last few sips. It honestly tasted like a plain latte. Slightly overpriced for the amount of coffee you get. Still cute vibes though hehe

Definitely a solid 4. Drinks are creative and delicious although smaller size compared to other coffee shops. The food was good. Service was nice but very slow. Interior very modern and cool.Came here one morning for breakfast and it was a very nice experience. Ordered one of their specialty lattes and 2 food items to share. The brioche breakfast sandwich was good, standard with eggs, definitely on the heavier side. The honey lavender toast was interesting and different, not too sweet which is nice. The latte was very interesting and delicious. We did wait quite a while for our drink and food. The latte was $6 and kind of small. Parking was easy.
