The Cut

Since it's located at a mall, parking was plentiful. There was no wait on a Thursday night, which was perfect. Our waiter was super attentive and even recommended the tots over fries--a great call! We shared the Poutine fries for the table, and they were delicious! We asked for the chimichurri sauce on the side since it's usually drenched in it. While I love chimichurri, it's better balanced this way. I also had a chicken sandwich with tots, and it was fantastic--better than your local fast food spot! The chicken was nicely fried with a perfect crisp. The vibes here are classy yet very chill and laid-back. I'd definitely come back!

The food pics caught my attention about this spot. Everything looked mouthwatering, so I had to check it out for myself.I will say, the menu is a bit all over the place--kind of a mix of different cuisines--but honestly, that works for me. My taste is pretty versatile, so I was open to the variety. Walking in, I was a little underwhelmed by the decor. It's definitely on the casual side, with simple wooden tables and chairs. Nothing fancy, just straightforward. That said, I did appreciate how the hosts greeted us immediately and seated us quickly. Still, considering how empty the place was, it would've been nice to be given the option of a booth instead of being placed wherever by default.The vibe inside is relaxed, with a fully stocked bar, a couple of TVs, and music playing in the background. Nothing too loud or overbearing, just enough to add to the atmosphere. But let's be real--I was there for the food. We ordered a few dishes to share: shrimp and grits, crispy calamari, and bone marrow toast. Was it pricey? A bit. But I didn't come here expecting a budget meal or just a basic sandwich.Now, onto the food itself--The calamari? Easily the standout. Perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and just the right texture. The sauce they paired it with was nice and tangy. I'd come back for that alone. The shrimp and grits and bone marrow toast were good too. I wasn't a big fan of the chorizo with the grits and the bone marrow was mouthwatering for the first bite but the grease-feel eventually overwhelms. To drink, our server automatically provided us with a glass of water (i do appreciate that gesture at restaurants) and i ordered the Monkey Business. It was the perfect balance of sweetness and sour. The on tap beers did seem a bit overpriced, but my group said it was refreshing. Lastly, had to get some dessert. That sticky date pudding was yummmmyyy. But after several bites the sweetness was too much, even for me. I'd recommend sharing it between 3 people.When checking the bathroom, it was relatively clean. Seat covers were out of stock and the toilet paper was low so maybe more frequent checks needed?Next time I visit, and i will be back, I'd explore more of the menu to see what else they have to offer. Overall, would I return? Yes. But I'd switch things up--except for that calamari. That's a must-order again.

Quite honestly, there isn't good value for money, here. My bestie and I celebrated 'Galentine's' here last night. It was our first visit, driven by positive reviews. Sadly, we felt let down by the accolades. The quality of (the rather pricey) dishes was inconsistent (mealy grits, lackluster burrata, overpriced short ribs with no balance or depth of flavor), ambiance was lacking (chairs/tables and decor are spartan and unwelcoming) and the bathrooms were dirty (trash on floor)! We even had to inform the hostess that a stall needed toilet paper. Very off-putting. Saving grace was our excellent cocktails, the delicious scallops entree and our solicitous and knowledgeable server Olivia, who is an asset who elevated our otherwise disappointing experience. For over $100 per person, most of the meal was woefully mid, I'm afraid. Won't return.

Way over priced ...food was goodService was adequate Ambiance was sitting at a diner ...no charm no elegance ...Cocktails were $25 for an old fashion ...ridiculous...

Wow. Goood Lord if that wasn't one of the best burgers I've ever had then I just don't know man. Came here at noon on a Monday and it was practically empty. Our server was very friendly and patient. I ordered the sweet and spicy burger and let me tell you guys, it was delicious, juicy, flavorful, and absolutely perfection. Even my buddy thought it was one of the best burgers ever. Mine came with sweet potato fries and just like my burger, it was delicious, crunchy and perfectly salted. I definitely will be coming back and next time when I feel like a baller, I'll try the $40 cut burger. Til next time my fellow yelpers

Celebrated my boyfriend's birthday here! He really loved his food and drinks, he got the short rib and i had a bite and it was delicious. I'm a steak frites enjoyer so i got that and it was good but i've had better steak frites but still good. The drinks here are amazing and i hope to come during happy hour to enjoy more from the menu and try out other drinks. Loved the ambiance though, it was dark but very pretty inside and i like how the seating is, they also have patio seating, also our server was great.

First time to try this place in Victoria Garden. We came for a family dinner and a going away celebration . We had a great time. The place is so airy and spacious. Nice music selections . Seated for a party 16 people. The service was great. Brandon was amazing. Gave us the menu and recommendations were given which we appreciated. Brandon was a joyful and pleasant person always with a smile and very attentive on all our needs. Great assets. Kudos also to the young Asian server. He was great also bringing some food that we ordered. The dishes were amazing. I don't usually give a 5 stars but this one exceeded. First- the crispy arugula with seared cheese was mouthwatering. The bone marrow , crispy calamari was excellent. The crispy fried calamari was soft and tender . It really satisfied our taste buds. The edamame was savory .The OG burger was cooked to perfection. The beet salad was refreshing. Tasted beets fresh fruits and walnuts. This as my favorite. Desserts were to die for. I love the Sticky date pudding and the ice cream was so rich and creamy. Not an ordinary ice cream tasted like a newly made from the farm. For sure be back . Since I just around the neighborhood

YUMMY!We popped in and sat at the bar for some cocktails. Bartenders were very nice and there to answer any questions we had.Smaller place but cute and the quality of the food looked amazing!We just got the burrata cheese and it was the best!!! Oh my gosh, just get it- you won't be disappointed.They are located inside Victoria Gardens so plan to hit a few of the great restaurants but don't skip this little gem! Plenty of free parking and dress code is casual.

Great fusion food with wonderful flavors. Nice ambiance and service, will be back again.

The best service in town! Been there over 10 times and every single time has been excellent. Food is always good. Good vibe and drinks. 10/10
