The Cookie Tin

The newly opened "The Cookie Tin" by James Madison catering kept the classic cookies and brought out some new stuff to their menu! These pics/review is from back in July when I visited, but now they have their own Yelp page, so updating here! When I visited, I talked with the new owner and she was very sweet and kind and answered all my questions regarding their new business! The decor is cute and modern, it is the perfect place to stop for lunch or just to hang out in a nice cozy spot.At that time, I ordered a turkey, bacon, swiss melt panini and a white chocolate macadamia cookie. Both of which are my two favorite things to order from there and have had at least a few times already since my last visit in July! The cookie is as sweet and soft as I remember! And the panini was warm, crunchy, and flavorful. Everything about this place is amazing and definitely fills the craving! Can't wait to come back and try more things from the menu!

Very friendly and accommodating. Overnight cookie oats delicious. Very disappointed in new recipe for peanut butter and jam cookie. Cookie milk latte very tasty but I would suggest using a finer sieve because the small random nut pieces didn't add great mouth feel . I'd probably go three and half stars to be honest, but they're close to getting things right.

Oh man this is a great local, hole in the wall cafe. They serve sandwiches, salads and wraps. Even soups. The oatmeal cookie oats are amazing! I had the roast beef au jus and the pastrami and they were excellent. And the cookies are super good. Moist and tasty, each flavor is better than the next, you can't stop at just one. The owners are super nice and ensure your meal will be perfect. And they offer catering as well. Definitely gotta check them out if you are anywhere close.

I work close to here so I order a sandwich on Fridays sometimes. I call ahead so it's ready. The sandwiches are really fresh, fairly priced, and the cookies are delicious (key lime is my favorite). I need to get a menu so I can try something besides turkey.

I work relatively close to here and wanted to give it a shot bc I'm a sucker for soup and a sandwich. I loved that the had a large cookie collection and actually ordered two, chocolate chip w/peanut butter and rocky road. Unfortunately they forgot to put in one of my cookies but I called and they said I could pick it up tomorrow. The tuna melt was really great seems to be panini pressed. As for the soup I think it was also good just wished it was hot and not like warm. It came with croutons which was cool. Anyway the soup, tuna melt, and two cookies cost be 23.99. Compared to another sandwich shop in Riverside it was hefty but it definitely was because the 2 cookies were gourmet. The cookies at the other shop are standard chocolate chip 2 for 1.95. Besides that the shop was really cute I think the cookie jars are a really nice touch and I definitely would come again just to try the other cookies.

I cannot say enough good things about the Cookie Tin!I have used them for both a lunch spot during the work week, catering for [corporate events, family celebrations, and parties], and in-store events!Their menu is a treasure trove of culinary delights, offering a variety of sandwiches with unique and fresh ingredients. The cookies, in particular, are a sinful indulgence, both in size and taste. With most entrees accompanied by one, be prepared to be pleasantly surprised and soon addicted.Regarding catering, Cookie Tin/James Madison Catering goes above and beyond. For a family celebration, I ordered their quiches, and they were an instant hit. The quiches, generously filled with fresh ingredients, were a testament to their commitment to quality. Jonathan's willingness to accommodate our preferences and his creative touch made the experience truly special.Last but not least, I reserved their store for a private party on a Saturday. Once again, they blew us out of the water with their smorgasbord of sandwiches and treats. The owners and staff are lovely and very customer service-oriented.Please do yourself a favor and visit this lovely establishment. You will not be disappointed!

I found The Cookie Tin by James to be the perfect lunch spot. It's such a cute, friendly, and clean place.I enjoyed their tuna melt and a cold chia drink.

I just went here today and imma put y'all on! GET THE CITRUS BUTTER COOKIE, it will change your life the lady in the front is super nice too!!
