The California Lounge

Very charming, spacious bright lounge. It can be nosy since it big, the echos can be carry out. There is the bar sitting and the living room like sitting. I tried both and I like the bar since you have direct access with the friendly & nice bartenders and easy order with quick turn around. But it can be noisy plus chatty w/ people around you if you are not into it. The living room style area is more quiet and relax but the waitperson can be busy so that is the con part. The foods is just typical bar type and not bad at all and on the high end. The drinks are just great,margaritas is their best bet unless you have your drinks then they will crafted for you. Overall, friendly and nice place to hangout and chill before heading out or checking in for the night.

Very impressed with the service. Megan was a great cocktail waitress. Was there for the presidential lounge but apparently the AC was broken for more than a week. So after trying to refer the hotel to my friend's HVAC company so they can come and fix it right away with no response, we moved to the California lounge with the AC. The waitress went extra miles to make the cocktail the way my date wanted. Great experience. If you wanna get laid, highly recommend the spot. Pick the side soft couch spot

A pleasant, quieter option than the President's Lounge, the chairs are comfy, the service pleasant and professional, and the drinks served with a smile. The appetizers sounded delicious, but since we had dinner reservations at the Mission Inn Restaurant, we skipped to drinks only.

They have plenty of staff in this well decorated bar. Unfortunately they very slow. Hard pass.

My friends and I came here after dinner for dessert and coffee/tea. One friend had wine. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The flan and tiramisu were delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing. I definitely recommend this place for drinks or food.

Very nice surprise to see a new lounge at the Mission Inn. They have great small bites and beverages and you get to people watch near the lobby!! ;)SERVICE: Great! Attentive and friendly. They get you your alcohol quickly! FOOD: Small bites (I know I already said that) we had the Crispy Rock Shrimp Tempura and it was FABULOUS!!CLEANLINESS: very clean, everyone wears masks and social distances.MUSIC: had to add this category because they play good tunes here too!If you are in the area and need a starter place, give this place a try!

Honestly, this bar is nice and the drinks were good but service was awful last time I came so felt compelled to write about it. Came on a Monday night, very empty but the staff was arguing about who should wash glasses and doing so right next to my friend as I as we tried to enjoy our drinks. The lounge was empty, take this conversation anywhere else. The lady who seemed like the manager of the restaurant on the inner patio came to the bar and started talking to the only bartender very loudly about how she is responsible for the glassware in the restaurant and has to wash them. The bartender proceeded to share how she felt that was unfair. I tried to stare the manager lady down to give her some indication of how rude she was being and what an awful environment she was making for customers. Just because there were not many customers does not mean you behave this way. We came to this spot cause it's supposed to be nice. I was sitting right next to my friend and couldn't concentrate on our conversation because of how loud and rude they were being. Then two more people from the restaurant side came over at different times and continued to talk about glassware. Like you guys are a restaurant you should know how to take care of dishes. Also, there were so many wait staff waiting around in the restaurant and they could be seen from the bar, it looks ridiculous to fight about who needs to wash dishes when so many people are doing nothing. It was like 20 mins till last call but my friend was afraid of even asking to get another drink because the attitudes were so shitty. Even so, the drinks were still nice. Take these types of conversations away from customers! Seems like very basic common sense and the manager seeming lady should have done better

Wonderful drinks. But our server, Jenny, was so great both nights! Friendly, attentive, sweet and remember our drinks from night to night!

Horrible service. Not timely at all. Waited 25 minutes just for a waitress to come even at a slow paced time in the week and evening.
