The Big Shrimp

Have been going to this place every Monday with my Fiancé, and we absolutely love everything on the menu!! The costumer service was amazing, and the food incredible you have to try this place!

No ceviche. Taquitos are on the menu as flautas but they are corn tortillas. Posted menu pics on yelp are not current. It is too hot ( over 100) out for me to go back out and take pictures. Prices are higher. $1 charge to use a credit card. I ordered a California roll $10.50 with soy paper +$1, 1 Cabeza taco $2.49, 1 order shrimp taquitos (4 pcs) $9.99. Salsa served is green and very spicy, for every day only salsa. On a scale of 1-10 it's an 8. It comes on the taquitos maybe the shrimp filling itself is also spicy. I can't tell. Ask for them to come with the toppings separate is what I recommend. Taquitos are thin. They fell apart as well. Sushi had no wasabi. California roll came with spicy mayo sauce. Cabeza is tender and tortillas are fresh on the taco. But, the radish slices were not fresh although the onion and cilantro is fresh. Taquitos also had shredded lettuce and diced avocado. The avocado pieces had bad spots that were left in. As for me - tacos are a recommend.

I'm a little disappointed. We waited 40 minutes for 5 tacos. The service was not the best as we were not greeted for about 10 minutes. The food was good but I don't think we will be back because even if there are one or two parties ordering, we will be waiting a very long time. The ambience/aesthetic of the truck was alright. There was tape covering up old prices and the fact that they don't sell specialized seafood items anymore. They were out of chicken as well. I recommend that they get out the smaller food items first and then prioritize the food items that take a lot more labor and time. To wait 30 minutes after ordering to receive semi warm semi cold meat on our tacos is a let down. We appreciate the two sodas for the long wait from the cashier lady.

The food tastes AMAZING!!! The lady who took my order was sooo sweet. I asked a million questions about the sushi (customizing my order) and she answered everything w/a smile, we even shared some laughs. The flautas I ordered for my daughter were so delicious! She can be a bit picky about food & absolutely loved them!

Food was very good and hit the spot! I normally don't eat food truck sushi but decided to try it out here. It was delicious.

Best flautas ahogadas ever!!!! Order these and you will not be disappointed. This place is the bomb, their salsa is good as well, don't skip this place!

Legitimately had some of the best nachos I've ever had in my life. I purchased the nachos asada and all of the ingredients were extremely fresh. It contained fresh chips, cheese, pinto beans, asada, green sauce, tomato, onion, and diced avocado - all in perfect quantities. The Big Shrimp staff know exactly what they're doing and you're in good hands. ​

DELICIOUSNESS very friendly service. Small wait time worth it because they are super fresh. I love the tacos gobernador- sushi is delicious as well. Sauces are BOMB. Right behind target. You can eat right outside of the food truck as well. Seating available under shade.
