The Bar Next Door

Perfect local bar with great service. Todd is awesome and very attentive!Somewhat limited menu (salad, pizza, pasta and sandwiches). Awesome cocktail menu and plenty of nearby parking. Still gets super busy, especially during happy hour, but it's worth the wait for a bar spot.

The wine and service here are unmatched! I'm not usually a red wine drinker, but the Montepulciano was exquisite--I definitely bought a bottle! Chris was an outstanding server. Thank you for making my first visit truly amazing!

Stopped in at The Bar Next Door after dining at Spuntino's. Since we had already eaten dinner, we just had a cocktail. I ordered the Blood Orange Margarita and my husband had a martini. While both of our drinks were good, we agreed they were kind of weak. Maybe we should've ordered something else. Next time. We also got a cannoli to-go which was so good! The service was okay, and the ambiance was good. It had a total neighborhood bar feel to it - pretty busy, loud, with a diverse crowd, which was nice.

Fine. That's how I can describe the food and service. Nothing special, just... fine. Bartender was dry and not rude, but not friendly. Food was good but nothing special. We got a couple of drinks a piece and two small pizzas. The 4 cheese had too much Gorgonzola in my opinion. The meatballs on the meat lovers was the best part. Blood orange margarita was okay- overpriced in my opinion. Also got a tequila sour. They took awhile tog eat my husbands buffalo trace on the rocks. Not difficult to pour - no mixing needed! My favorite part was the ambiance. Very chill. I would be back, but maybe just for drinks and an appetizer.

Efrin, my Bartender rocks. Great cocktail good guy come on in and see him. We also have awesome pizza and the pasta salad is the bomb.

The staff is amazing and the food is good! Val and Tod are the best bartenders there, they know a lot about their drinks and have an inspiration in bartending. They are amazing people! I had to take two stars off due to the owner! The owner is one rude guy and doesn't care about his customers! He treated my friends and I bad and also treats the staff poorly! I would beware of the owner! He is one rude cranky person! I'm not mad but I'm just disappointed in him!

Expresso martini's are amazing here. THE BEST.But "service" provided by Julia V. was embarrassing for the establishment. She was very pretentious and made my party feel vey unwelcome . She made uncessary rude comments. She forgets she works in hospitality and what that entails. Would be 5 stars, but please please train your staff, her attitude is uncessary and unprofessional.

Not sure why but my last visit to Bar Next Door was very disappointing. I have been meeting friends for Happy House for several years and service has always been fine at a table or barstool. This last Thursday evening there were two bartenders working and a bar back. My friend and I waited over 10 minutes at bar to get a drink. We then waited to order food. Ordered a small pizza and salad with dressing on the side please. We were delivered a large pizza and salad with dressing and told not to worry about it when we finally flagged down the bartender thinking we got the wrong order. The service was terrible, it almost seemed like the bartender felt he was doing us a favor. When the check came we were charged for the large pizza. My friend just paid the check so we could get of out there. I took my friend there because I felt it was an OK place but I left very embarrassed.

This is insane. I've been going here for 3 plus years and this is insane. I love Val and Tood. But these bartenders 10/30 are insane. By a question of asking hey the strength as it taste the same as before they assume that she is drunk and are rude about the questions that she's getting the cops called on her. That's pretty crazy and unnecessary in my personal opinion. We have frequent this place for two years and the fact that we have also recommended this place to many people makes it extremely sad and will not be doing that anymore.

The service here was TERRIBLE. We basically got ignored. The workers were too into the watching the game than helping customers. It's too bad, because the pasta we got was really good.
